It doesn't help when he have idiot modders like this creating a major framework mod then deliberately blocking access to it for their own tantrums and rendering many other modders works broken :P

My mods are hidden because I need your help. I am currently being blocked from uploading mods to Bethesda.net because I can't link my Steam account to my Bestheda.net account because of bugs in the in game mod menu that prevent me from logging in. So far I have received no response in my pleas for assistance from Bethesda. Time is rapidly running out until the deadline for entering the Nvidia Fallout 4 mod contest. If I can't enter the contest because of Bethesda.net bugs I will be very angry. Please flood Bethesda.net with comments asking for them to help myself and other modders stuck in the same boat at https://community.bethesda.net/thread/42788 and https://community.bethesda.net/thread/32339

Also flood Nvidia with comments asking for them to allow submissions to their mod contest from mods on Nexus if Bethesda doesn't resolve this issue at http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/make-a-fallout-4-mod-for-a-chance-to-win-huge-prizes

I have spent about 1000 hours making mods for Fallout 4 that I have shared with you, I ask that you spend ten minutes helping me out.

In the end of his tantrum spat neither Beth or Nivdia fixed the problem which was on his computer so he put the files back up after trying to set a lynch mob on Beth and Nivdia........

 

If I was a dick I'd take SexoutCommonResources and SexoutPregnancy down because I can't download the GECK beta either, but I'm not a dick :P

You are not. And it is for this reason that I like you.

 

If you need ANY kind of help on trying to get CK for FO4, just PM me and I will try to help.

 

I'm just patient enough to wait it out till Beth sorts their stuff, not much else to do, over reacting and hurting others like this guy doesn't solve problems, it just creates bigger ones for others :)

Anyone with an AE patch on their files should hide the patch in protest and to save a lot of game crashing bug reports :)

After reading why Gambit77 took down AE on the Nexus earlier tonight, I have to admit I have mixed feelings about it. I fully understand and respect that fact that a mod author owns his or her intellectual property and has the right to do whatever they want with it.

 

On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure that holding a mod hostage is the right way to garner support just so you can enter some contest.

 

It just seems very self-serving to me and to be honest, I'd be much more inclined to help the guy out if he had just approached this in a different way.

holding a major framework hostage seems like a really anti-community move

nobody can force you to share your work, but to share it and then later decide there should be some condition to it is sleazy to me

im sad that i never get to be in these dramas while they are happening. i always find out after. what was the problem this time? its not even just hidden. its full deleted.

 

i was hilariously in the middle of adding ackwrkrarr support to plugs of the commonwealth. i guess i wont.

Well he couldn't get the GECK beta to work so decided screwing other people would get Beth to fix it, in the end, it was something on his system another user helped him fix :P

given the age of the mod, your URL makes a lot more sense actually. OP link had a high ID, yours has a low ID. maybe the new one was a stolen one.

I think you can Merge in FO4Edit, but I've never been game to try it :)

I think you can Merge in FO4Edit, but I've never been game to try it :)

 

 

"Never" is a strong answer (in modding). I prefer to say "until I will find a way to do it".

last i saw the fo4 save editor it was hidden by nexus staff for review for some reason.

I'm not sure if I'm only noticing it now but people hiding their mods for whatever reasons is becoming a weapon that I'm not overly fond of. It seems to be turning into the instant go-to rather than a last resort for a lot of people. Maybe it's just my perception and I'm wrong but it's looking that way.

Neither Bethnet or Nivdia fixed his problem, I doubt they even responded at all.

Another user helped him, it was something on his own system blocking him :P

He put it back when someone else fixed the issue for him that was on his computer, not Beths or Nivdia he was having everyone point their guns at, I hope it won him some votes for his contest entry..........
