Been a while since I have messed with this. So long I forgot my password and needed to make a new profile. I was just wondering what all creatures have been implemented into this now?

Not too many more' date=' we have lost most of the animators, I have implemented around 30 creatures & variations but most are waiting for animations.

 

New Update 20120929.1:

 

Fixes to a few of the issues raised lately, including the Clothing stuck when birthing bug, thouh I couldn't get it to occur for me.

 

Reduced Console Spammage a lot by adding a distance check for NPC's further than 900 units away.

 

Can't remember which ones got sorted, one thing I did learn is I needed a clean save as some of the scripts on NPC's I was updating just refused to update till I started a new game.

 

I tried adding babies, but hit a problem with them falling underground when rezzed like eggs do, I've hit a brick wall trying to sort that one out. I'll try something else on them tommorrow, probably add them direct to inventory should work ok.

 

I also released some fixes related to Pregnancy in SCR, you will need the latest SCR update 20120929.1 for this

 

Fixes to Diaphram not auto-equipping on NPC's

 

Fixes to Eggs & Offspring growth, but still didn't get the random giant offspring bug sorted.

Did you get deathclaws pregnancies to pop out the correct number of eggs? This is rather important for Riverside. If you want to put them in the player's inventory that also works for me but I need them to be viable (as in not create baby deathclaws) If I stick them in another container.

 

I would put them in the player's inventory and then depend on the player to drop them into the world wherever they want (or into a container if they're playing Breeder)

 

edit: also the impreg body (the one that squirms around) apears to be equipping for Sam as well after I have her give birth at the end of the episode. It won't let me equip anything over it.

Hmm, I didn't think I added the impreg body anywhere, I'll check.

I raised the Deathclaw egg limit to 3, All the egg hatching scripts depend on the OnLoad funtion to start so they won't hatch in a inventory or container till after they are put out in world the first time, if you need some that start timing immediately when added to inventory, I can add them for you.

Ok yeah the births work well with the multiple eggs. I don't need the eggs to hatch in the inventory that was just a recommendation if you can't fix them disappearing through the floor.

 

I'm almost 100% sure you're doing something with a couple of the impreg bodies even if you aren't meaning too :P. It only started after giving birth to deathclaw eggs with the most recent update.

 

To be clear it's not one of the birth bodies, it's a p1 where the egg is moving in and a p3 I think where you belly is squirming around. I'm pretty sure it's any deathclaw egg birth so if you want to give yourself a gestating egg and have yourself birth it in game you'll see what I'm talking about.

 

Anyways, it is a bit of an issue because you can't equip any clothing after giving birth at the moment.

 

edit: also what would be the most reliable effect look for if I want to detect the beginning of giving birth? It needs to be an effect that sticks around for at least 5 seconds and it needs to happen before the end of birth.

I got the same thing, the Eggimpreg body wont unequip after the deathclaw egg birth, i havent seen it with any other eggs yet though, i'll go through some more and let you know what i find :)

Sounds like we need some more animators and bad. I have the software, I have just never messed with it for animation, but maybe its time. You mind if I take a look at what you got. Cant promise that Im gonna be of any use but I'll try.

i found a way to get rid of the eggimpreg body, not like an actual fix, but after i got stuck with it and was walking through the desert i got jumped by a couple o' powder gangers, well as it turned out when it de-equiped my gear and re-equiped it i was able to take off the eggimpreg body and put some regular clothes on

Ahh, found where I added the Impreg body, I had accidently enabled some old code, should be fixed now, I also have changed humanoid Offspring so they add a baby to you inventory instead of a Child to the world, the baby should grow automatically in the inventory and spawn a child at around 50 game days at 100% setting Offspring Growth setting in MCM.

 

Unfortuanately I haven't been able to test this, I've crashed my install of NV somehow by Launching the game & GECK at the same time, and my internets at dialup speed for another 2 days so can't validate the game archive.

I had a good look at the eggs falling through the floor issue as it kept happening to babies too, and worked out the things I had tried before had never worked ever, we just thought there was improvements, the positioning wasn't going to work on the object the script was in, I might move eggs into the inventory too, I'll have a look throught the NVSE commands and see if I've missed a new trick somewhere.

 

The effect you need to look for is SexoutP4EBirthBreeching or similar it is applied during the "on the ground Baby popping out" bit then removed at the end of birthing

I think Prideslayer has some animations for some of the Robots, Bighorners, Nightstalkers and Sporeplants that haven't been implemented, I know we lack animaitions for Scorpions, MoleRats, RadRoaches. There's probably others, I don't get enough playtime to know :)

so whilst testing the new update the problem with the eggimpreg body is fixed, but now it seems that the pregnancy/birthing process is messed up, for example like i used sexoutbreeders bloatfly cave to test sometimes, and when i get implanted with the larva, it doesn't progress like it used to? if i worded that right, it goes from pregnancy 0% to 100% within 36 hours or so, but i have it set to standard settings for the most part so it should take like at least 200 hours sometimes it makes to to P1 but i havent been able to get an farther cuz i hit p1 and it gives birth like 2 hours later, for regular pregnancies it works it just seems to be this way for eggs/larve, so far i've only found out from cazadors and bloatflys

 

p.s also, not sure if this is pregnancy related, but since i got the update and started playing around, at some point, the clothes got messed up, when i have sex or get raped, it puts my clothes on, and then when the animation is finished it takes them off, so def. backwards there :P

It basically depends on how many Larve there are as to the size of te Pregnancy belly, I think from memory you had to have maybe 10 larve to get a P4 belly.

Bloatfly pregnancies are also a lot faster than Human pregnancies too, 100% may equal only 30 days. I need to do a spreadsheet up at some point with all of the different types.

the bloatfly scenario gives you 6 larve aoutomatically but for some reason they only take 36 hours to hatch, idk i'll try it somewhere else, maybe its just a conflic with the updates somewhere, if trying elsewhere doesnt work i'll do a clean save re-intall the updates again

I'm pretty sure he's just reduced pregnancy times across the board. If they're too short for you turn up their length in the options.

 

I know deathclaw pregnancies went from 3 days to 9 hours at .5%. Which is great because now I can set it somewhere in between there.

I now realized that the situation was just the bloatflys, i ran into some gekos and they were set to 90 hours, and later i played through some breeder stuff and bighorner calf took like 400 hours, so it was all good, having a p1 for bloatflys makes sense if there isn't alot of larve since they are actually kinda small

Hal, from your last update SCR and Pregnancy mod everything work really well, no bug in pregnancy progression or any fertility problem anymore and body swapping issue also good too except still have some pregnancy body retain in your inventory when you try get naked and wear clothes again

 

But all pregnance body swapping from SCR work really well for PC (Type 3, 3M, Bnb and 6M) but not test with Cass or Veronica yet.

 

And after i try get multi pregnancy with normal human plus 8 bloatfly lava, pregnancy body progression to P6 really well also without any problem :D.

 

PS. you didn't add birth animation back yet, right ? due to my PC still give birth without birth animation but birth process work well anyway and all pregnance body also disappear as normal after my PC give birth too. By the way i didn't test with deathclaw stuff or others eggs pregnancy yet but will try soon to get more information for you.

i did some deathclaw stuff, and after popping out the deathclaw egg, the eggimpreg body still gets auto equipped, but if you do any other sex action, you can unequip it

 

i havent tried any of the multi-preg stuff, yet i'll try it later tonight :)

So, my char was impregnated by a human. But around midway through was combat raped by a cazador and then the character gave birth to a baby cazador. Not bitching or complaining. Just throwing out my experience.

Yeah, till I get the multiple pregnancy code implemented that's going to be a problem, I think the new pregnancy overrides the current, moreso with larve etc that don't need ova to conceive :)

Just wondering, is the mod able to use multiple birthing animations? Thinking of doing another new birthing animation. My main project is temporarily stalled for the time being so I have time to do extra stuff. If its ok I would like to make something new.

 

Or I can go back and redo the old animation. I remember half way while doing the old one that I had no idea what a woman giving birth out in the middle of bareasscrack Mojave is supposed to look like so I ended up just winging it. Never really liked how it turned out but I was busy then. I can focus more this time around and maybe come up with something better.

 

......Oh wait......its not still unused is it?:-/ I remember that being the case. I assumed it was inserted into the mod by now.
