Don't overthink this - when you equip two things in the same slot, it replaces the first.  It's not unusual to have something occupy more than one slot, especially if it's meant to be a whole outfit.  I'd go back to basics - see if it happens with a new character.  If it does, check mod settings.  If you can't find any, check the mod list. 

 

My guess: because Kiri is sort of a specific character, is that you've got two things you're really set on that use slot 52, and unless you change one in the editor, they just won't be compatible.   Usually things with skirts won't occupy 52, but a ton of armors do.

Actually, I would sort of expect full armor to cover that. Some stock clothing in the game does not knock off the slot 52...some of the bigger pants in your mod, that I most often use, of course will overlap textures, but they do wear together. Something seems to have changed that, and at any rate, you can see slightly from my second and third screens that the Banded Iron Breast Plate is just a metal bra, and doesn't even touch the pelvis area.

 

I don't imagine there's a way to move your diapers and pants to slot 49, the primary pelvis, or are the slots basically hardwired into the pieces?

No it's really just an edit in the TES editing program.  Go nuts!  The banded iron breast plate probably does that to enhance the horn factor of slutty armor lol.

I have a mod loaded named Panties of Skyrim. I apparently need to run them though the Bodyslide to show; a rare case where an item shows in the inventory, but is invisible on the character model. Anyway, the panties default to slot 49. I intended to use them too with a couple armored bras I picked up in another mod.

 

That was going to be Kiri's more 'decent' outfit when in town and traveling abroad. But I also considered using one of the diapers with the metal top.

You may be at the core of my problem. Yes, I had a very specific look in mind since day one. As you said in the mod description, you got tired of waiting for someone else to make a diaper mod, so you made your own. In turn, this was the mod that finally made my choice to get this game, because it was probably going to be the best recreation of her I would get, being that the plastic pants were the core costume item for Kiri.

 

It's a very old character that evolved a lot over time, but her (mis)adventuring outfit was settled on a long time ago. It's taken since last summer with my messing around with mods, seeing what I can throw at this game and will stick together and play nice. Glad my mod could be part of it.  And yes the editor can change a million things.  It's been forever since I messed with it, so if I were getting back in, I'd just see if I could find a quick tutorial on YouTube and get after it.

I've been looking through and I keep hearing about the way to use the diapers, with PND being more or less outdated and this "Funcon" being mentioned assuming this is all up to date and works with the SE/AE version

If anyone else would like to make use of them, I refit the medium diaper meshes to the HIMBO body.

I really wanted to use a fluffy khajiit mod, but it uses the HIMBO mesh and makes the diapers clip pretty bad. I decided to give it my best effort by resizing the diaper in the outfit editor and then reducing the amount of added fur in the diaper area to eliminate clipping. This was my first attempt at editing meshes, so please let me know if you spot any issues.

 

My HIMBO installation uses the SOS nudity, no physics, and no refits. I haven't touched anything else with it, so different body presets may have issues. I tested all raced at minimum and maximum weight with minimal clipping using the default body. I'll probably refit the huge and slim meshes too at some point if people are interested, but I personally never use them.

Hey. I'm new to modding and I've been going through trying to get this to work and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I use Skyrim SE (Which probably is one of the problems) and Nexus Mods W/ Vortex Mod Manager. What am I missing or am I a complete dumbass? (P.S. The only reason some are disabled are so I can play vanilla between troubleshooting attempts).

Not working how, exactly?  Crash on equip, or not showing up?  If it works on female bodies but not male bodies, you probably have an issue with SOS, often solved by checking your settings with that and making sure the schlongs aren't overriding the diaper.  You might also try UNP and its HDT mods.  Some of those might have required mods too.  I genuinely don't remember.

 

Little Space has some guides, btw, great for newcomers, written by people with far more practical knowledge of Skyrim than I ever had.  I haven't played anything but Skyrim VR in several years.

Ill check out those guides. However the main problem is when I buy diapers and try to equip them the game crashes. Ill check SOS and pray. FUNCON works but I've never been able to have SkyrimDL work properly.

It's almost certainly a problem with the physics.  I fully regret including those btw lol, because it's caused people headaches ever since.  I just did it because my character's butt kept showing through the diaper.  Anyway, the physics install has a lot of dependencies, seen here for an LE UNP install.  I believe with CBBE you'll have to use bodyslide, and I think it has a dependency or two that aren't in your list: XPMSE and maybe FNIS.

 

A couple of pages back in this absurdly long thread, someone else was having that issue: the solution was to install and use CAO, since this mod wasn't made for SE.

Hi, first time mod user and I am having similar problems (although I didn't go with Vortex Mod Manager, just manually installed it into "Data" in the Skyrim SE folder). Since then I've tried downloading and using CAO to straighten it out, but after a bit of tampering with both I couldn't really figure it out. I'd appreciate any information you can give me, even if it's just "I answered this question on (forum page)" and leaving it at that.

Either way, thanks for the mod. I realize it's been a while since it was first put out, but once I get it running properly I know I'm going to love it.
