For Skyrim how necessary was the creation kit to develop the sexlab framework?

I've seen perk mods on nexus made using FO4edit on there for a while now.

CK is important when you what to do real mods, and not some "untested additions".

Mesh replacements and texture replacements are fine.

But whatever requires some real objects, connected, and coding, then requires the CK.

Doing a dialogue in FO4Edit is just a mess. People are doing it, but I will never install a mod like this.

Do you need it for a "SexLab-like framework"? FUCK YES!

Don't be too much Australian, @Halstrom.

The guy is young, and he is just asking.

And may answer was already rude enough. (Sorry for it @Mondo80)

And he uses as avatar one of the coolest zombies of "Plants vs Zombies", so he has my support.  :P

Hines said Q1 2016. So you may wait another 2 months.

What the heck is Beth doing? They should already know modding is the primary strength of their games. That's what made Skyrim so successfu. And now they are stalling at this critical moment?

the creation kit for skyrim(11.11.11) was released  in february but is a elder scroll. Fallout 4(11,11,15) have bigger dlc and more bug to correct.  wait for one week or two for sometime new

I don't get bethesda idea in modding... You can change and add stuff, but you still need nifscope or something to decode NIF files, the biggest modding part is done outside CK/GECK, why they don't release a modelling tool? Something that we can add mesh files, or geck/ck already do this and i just don't knew?

Dude, the CK's come out later since at least Fallout 3, i forget if it came out later for Oblivion as well.

Its a normal process to sort as many vanilla bugs as possible before releasing the CK, if they released the CK with the game it would be a nightmare of bug reports, many the result of mods rather than Beth. Total Annihilation Map Editor didn't come out till the first expansion disk six months later :P

Yeah, the nif's and bsa's always confused me. They make a big deal about providing modding support, but then come up with these proprietary formats  and don't provide hard documentation, so it's always a hack-job of thankless modders digging through the files until they figure it out.

It would be so much easier if they just said "Here, this is how you can decompress a .ba2 file, these are all the nodes we added to the standard nifs"

I haven't messed around with Nifscope or Blender too much so I probably jumbled up the jargon, but you get the idea.

I wish.  I'm thinking it could just be a follow up on the last update they did.  It should be soon though.  Skyrim's Creation Kit came out exactly three months after release and in a week it will be three months from the release of FO4.  I'd expect no later than March.  We'll see, but they're keeping pretty hush-hush so far.

I played exactly 311 hours.

Without a single mod (except CBBE and a couple of pictures retexture.)

In the last month I did not played a single minute.

I will play again when the firt DLC will be out, or the CK will be out to create something (probably SexTec...)

Edit: I checked on Steam how many hours I actually played.

i just checked on steam too, and i saw exactly 248 hours xD it's much more than i remember, time goes fast... i do some retextures and i make a few retex mods on the nexus, but really, without the alternate start and Sexlab(sextec),it's a little bit boring :/ Need Rape, home invasions and pillage xD All that i had in skyrim, and the game w'll be perfect for me :)

From the modders, and what I've observed in the releases, the GECK makes the difference that a chainsaw makes when chopping down a tree.

Sure you *could* cut it down with your face, but it's easier and faster, and a lot less painful to just wait until the dude delivers the tree killer 9000 from Bethenas garden centre.
