Hey Guys!

 

I wanted to let you all know I'm doing a re-make of my LoadingScreen mod, the idea is you'll have a selection of screenshots/images to choose from and you select which ones you want and add it to your game.

 

I would love to add your screenshots on the next version of this mod so if you want to have you screenshots added can you head on over to this forum post and post download links to your screenshots and images and I'll add them!

Feel free to point out differences, I still wanna improve the looks and similarity of this character  :shy:

If anyone has an idea how to make the eyes brighter aside from moving closer to a lightsource or using facelight, I'd be glad to hear it.

Ambient occlusion is already disabled, according to my enbseries.ini.

WOW! She definitely is spot on! Only the chin seems a bit shorter in the original (could be an illusion though :-/ ). For the eyes... You could edit the texture to make the eyes brighter. Also the location and ENB could make alot of difference... Are you going to share her? And how did you manage to recreate her so perfectly? 

 

Thx, gonna try to edit the eye textures themselves, didn't think of that one somehow. I assume you mean the lighting environment with "location"?

I could share, if there's demand. For the recreating part, knowing/finding out the textures used is half the battle (in this case eihei skin). After that it's just tweaking the sliders and colors/skin tints. In this characters case, using the right tool (ECE) was also important. I realized that after my first attempt with RM to recreate this character, which turned out not nearly as similar to the original as this one. Having the same ENB as used in sanhoshins reference pictures helped too.

eyes are smaller and more angular, nostril aren't as flared and the sellion is more arched, and your lips are narrower height wise. Your chin is also bigger.

I believe that the eyes appear so because of the shadows, but i'll look into that.

Do you mean that the sellion (upper side of the nose?) is more flat and straight in the original? 

The chin is fixed now and i'll look into the rest later.

yes, the original isn't quite as curved.

I tried to do the same once but I realized that you can never redo the same character twice ... and what I ended up with was at the same time different but extremely nice too (page164).

 

I'd say you're really close. Main difference comes from the eyes definitely. There is some sort of shadow in yours that he doesn't have. Or maybe he edited them and made them brighter

On a sidenote, does anyone know how the eyes (color) are ordered in the ECE menu? I gotta know which eye exactly I need to edit and got a whopping whole 110 to choose from  :D

Is it The Eyes of Beauty you gotta choose from?

 

EDIT: You could switch to RM to find out what the exact name is (left bottom I think when switching eyes)... Other than that... I don't know  :-/

 

Yeah it is. I unpacked the .bsa of improved eyes but upon attempting to open them with gimp (.dds plugin installed and working) i get the error message "invalid dds header".
