Hi all, now we have alpha version of CBBE but functional, soon (i hope) It will be released the final version..

I saw that the conversion of the mesh from Skyrim / Oblivion CBBE is simple so I would enter a list of armor that I would find in FO4! Thanks all ever!

As for the heels I don't think there is the need plug-ins like HDT for Skyrim because in  in the default game there are heeled shoes.

No you didn't read, stop requesting mods until CK is released.

Agreed, and even after the release, try to make something first, modders are not tooth fairy.

Sorry if i am rude, but since FO4 release i see 99% of people asking stuff and 1% making stuff, if something is so important to have go figure out, and learn how to make it, or wait for the tools (like me, i am not touching anything until OS is release).

EDIT:

I edit and apologize, because i see you made something.

Even when Bodyslide is out of Alpha and Outfit Studio is turned back on...

We will need a tool to convert Nif's from Skyrim to FO4. The nif format as well as the bone names (ninode) are completely different.

It may be possible before the CK, but will need conversion tools to build stuff with.

And Dismember still isn't figured out for the Alpha of CBBE, so that needs to be sorted as well.

Oh and the Normal and Spec maps need complete documentation or shit will have very little depth of field and either be way to shinny or to dull.

Also nothing has been listed on how the in game physics works (all of the vanilla dresses have it as well as the longer hair sets).

If that can be figured out and enabled for the outfits so they swing and sway without clipping then all the better.

So RECAP.

First Nif tools need to be finalized (as they are still being updated).

Second Conversion tools based on the Nif tools need to be created.

Third Tools like Outfit Studio, Blender, and Max needs to be finished (with dismemberment and physic's support enabled hopefully)

Somewhere in there full documentation need to be on the DDS formats for each texture type as well as the other components that go along with outfits now ( all the shit that sets in the \data\materials\ folder area).

Then modders can get started converting stuff.

Speaking of Tool sets, has Garra been around recently? KGtools is gonna need a hell of a make over for FO4 once the nif format is fully fleshed out (yeah that's mesh rigger, clothing converter, pose converter and all of his other cool toys which make converting from game to game easier).

Most of the meshes are either heavy modifications of vanilla assets, or converted meshes from skyrim, oblivion, and previous fallout mods. (all done with permission of the author)"

I have open this thread because I thought that if the boy he can already, there should be no problems to convert the other! I Misunderstood I? If yes then i'm sorry!

You misunderstood... 2Pac already has access to the Outfit Studio (OS) tool, I guess given directly by Caliente (in a 'I choose myself who to give it to' way, so don't bother to ask.). That's why he can convert Skyrim outfits to Fallout 4.

nope, the high heels ingame is so called "fake hhs" because they doesn't make you higher

HDT-HH's basical propuse is just changing the Z value of your bonenodes at the proper time

I'm curious, what does the game do re: Power Armor? I know it makes your body invisible, but you're definitely higher up when in the Power Armor than not. How does it affect the Z value, and do people think it's possible to hijack that for HDT-HH?

You are higher up in power armor because you use a different skeleton. Also, your body is not invisible. Enter armor and then remove it, and your character will look like slender man/skyrim troll.

We have F4SE early on, but still have to wait for full skeleton.nif decryption. I don't think we can do anything about skeleton.nif now. Even scale editing doesn't work.

The PA uses another skeleton or another set of skeleton settings (like the body triangle)

So we still need something to control when and where we use HH skeleton or not

FO4's heels don't behave like rl.  They're just shoes that cut into the feet to give the illusion of being heels.

I got 2 WIP so far.

1) Skyrim kimono+Ceta 90% done @ last week, skin wrap of the skirt is extremely buggy (just too many layers...).

2) from Skyrim UNP Simply Clothes, 99% done @ today (since no skirt haha), mm but I just don't feel right about the body ratio. Maybe I stare at her too long for modding...

Caliente did not give me outfit studio, that would be unfair. I compiled it myself and am just using some basic features. Trust me, the version im using is not ready for release, hence why no one has it.

Ok, my bad. I assumed it was given to you as I thought I saw a post saying some people had BS/OS, but I couldn't find the post so I must have imagined it.

Props for managing to compile it from the git, tho. I stopped trying after having the linker go haywire for the third time over duplicated functions... go figure T_T (I hate vcc)

And, by the way, really nice work on the outfits :)

i think we'll have to wait for bodyslide for f4 to be completed. as a frequent user of skyrim bodyslide, i think there's no problem converting skyrim outfit mods to fallout, it just takes a bit of time to attach the hands and feet parts to the torso part. but i hope the program itself can help you with that, that's a feature to think about.

of course the main goal is to make it work to convert most of the vanilla outfit first, there are quite a lot of work for that already.

In outfit studio (for skyrim) there is an option to keep previous meshes when loading a new outfit.

That option should carry over to the FO4 variant. So you would first load the torso piece, then load the boots with the box checked to keep previous meshes. This would give you (in OS) the Torso and boots loaded at the same time. Then you save the package and it exports a single nif file.

The main part is going to be converting the nif format from skyrim to fo4. Then weight painting with FO4's bone structure.

3.0 of Outfit Studio supports drag and drop for NIF, OBJ and BSD files (both loading meshes and sliders).

So can I alpha test and give you feed back (like I can spam the irc channel all day with feed back I've got nothing better to do)...

So how compatible is Skyrim armors to FO4? I know its a pain in the ass now but once we get the tools.

Will it be easier or is porting meshes from Skyrim to FO4 the same as Oblivion port to Skyrim? Talking about quality obviously.
