A bit of spoilers from fallout 1 here if you intend to play it, open at your own discretion since it's an important part of the main plot. The master from fallout 1 fell into a vat of fev, floated around a mounth as a blob of flesh feeding on creatures until it merged to the command center of it's base. There is more on this story on fallout wikia... This was accidental but if refined, a mutant could connect to a power armor frame and not be as gruesome, I guess the easier way would be as infested armor parts. Less protective than the metal counterparts but with added resistances or health and ap regen poison damage. Still needs the power core to sustain the frame though I would like to clarify. Richard Grey aka the Master, fell into a FEV vat and was floating there for a month, then emerged, then feeling great hunger... a tentacle spew out from his stomach and devoured a rat (I think it was a rat). He also started mutating after getting out of the vat and upon feeding on living creatures.

Expanding on the concept, one could posit that a malevolent AI has somehow taken over a suit of experimental power armor (say, X-02) and "uses" the unwilling victim housed inside in creative ways...

A version that is compact and allows the wearer to still be quick and stealthy but can be modded out as power armor. The current PA is nice and does a good job but I loved the ninja sneaky types so much more.

Stomping around like a bad ass, dropping from high places to hear that satisfying BOOM,unffff. It gets me worked up. This parallels with a kink of mine for Living clothing/armor. Im not talking animate clothing, im talking organic creatures that attach to the body and are filled with dozens of tentacles, usually resulting in some level of incapacitation or mind breaking(which I do NOT like). I thought why not bring living armor to the game using the Power armor mechanic. Naturally the living armor wouldnt use Fusion Cores, but feed on other things like bodily fluids (milk, semen, blood,etc), or maybe even radiation(at some price). I think this is a great idea, I think your idea of merging power armor with a living component is great, Think Starcraft corrupted marines. Except for a a girl.

Sexualized kaiju, werewolves, deathclaws or any other creature larger than a normal human. Makes me think of the Splicers rpg by Palladium. Customizable colors and shapes would make a useful option for getting personal tastes right.

Palkred Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Different armor mods could be acquired by eating defeated enemies. It could easily originate from the aliens. If they brought some symbiotic organism and it was infected by F.E.V. and mutated into some strange creature. The institute was also experimenting with synths based on living tissue so it could also originate from them. If it was the alien thing the player could contaminate the gen 3 synth production line. The ocean is near buy it could be a mutant from there. It could use a biomass system instead of fusion cores. You have to eat food. It could also generate eggs over time and that could be how additional suits are made. With animation it could be given to an npc and grow over them when equipped for the first time in an erotic manner. On a darker note it could be used as a thrown weapon that consumes a target if killed. It could also just have them equipped with a juvenile symbiote and make it player friendly or even change gender. Then if you wanted a new suit of armor later you could tell the npc to transform into a suit of armor later as they have limited free will.
