Well, it's not working for me. I followed all the instructions given, changed my fallout4.ini to fallout4custom.ini just to be sure that's not the problem, yet it still shows me the vanilla nude. what could i have missed?

thanks

There are 3 files:

Fallout4.ini

Fallout4Custom.ini

Fallout4Prefs.ini

DO NOT change your fallout4.ini to fallout4custom.ini

Copy and paste the following into the respective .ini's ((C:\Users\XXXXXXXX\my games\Fallout4) and save. We are going to do all 3. Just follow the parenthasis.

Fallout4.ini  should contain this (Copy everything below this line):

These 3 files are what you need for C:\Users\XXXXXXXX\Documents\my games\Fallout4

If this does not help Im not entirely sure what will. If you see a Nexus Mod website post that says to modify these files, please know that the files I've included already depreciate a lot of what has already been asked of you when you download something new. Always double check tho...

Also remember that Caliente's ish is standalone, Drop the files from his zip anywhere you feel comfortable and then run the .exe and it "should" run in Fallout. There's an update on page 7 of this post to get the Alpha, but another later on, make sure you get the latest and greatest.

I suggest watching this video, it should help. Also you can just create a your own file if need be.

I feel your pain my friend. If you have a private email you can PM me, I can send you all the files directly. They won't let me upload them here for some reason.

Try and open up notepad and instead of .txt. save as "Fallout4Custom.ini" in that same folder as the other two.

Just copy and paste this into notepad, then save as ""Fallout4Custom.ini"

Honestly.... If you don't know how to install simple textures/mesh replacer you shouldn't be messing around with ALPHA level testing.

It took me awhile, and I'll agree I'm probably not the best to give advice.

But this forum has given so much to me since Skyrim, I feel I need to give back some. Any help I can give I will gladly give.

Can we not joke about newcomers? I was once one. You may have been one once.

Don't forget why we all are here, to help each other... not just to get the latest bouncing tits mod.

Always willing to help, but there is a difference when something is being shared for the purpose of bug reporting. When I was new to skyrim, I spent weeks researching, looking up how to guides and learning. I wasn't throwing myself into alpha testing of mods like this I would wait for official releases. Some of the questions are legit issues but its been a flood of common sense things which are handled in the readme. People see boobs and the ability to read goes out the window lol

Keep in mind the game files, were they are? Nothing is changed in fallout folder, only in games/fallout4 folder in documents, in fallout folder you put the mod, in documents you tell the game to look the data to see the mods and in the appdata/local you tell the game what esp you want to use.

Check if the files in appdata and documents don't get changed after the game launch.

This can sound like dummy, but is the first step to check if everything is ok, after that is just a question to check folder structures, one time after many times modding i found out that my skyrim female texture was in a double data folder inside data folder...

That make a lot of sense...

I agree putting in the work and going through every page of a forum post helps... sometimes over 50 pages long to get the best of the best.

Hopefully, the dedicated ones will contribute (or lurk) and be a part of the community. With FO4 just coming out we can expect an influx of beginner questions. Especially with Caliente pumping out his Alpha.

Looking forward to seeing what Cal has to offer and if I can, help the peeps who were in a position I was in years ago with getting up to speed with having more fun with mods.

I've been having an issue getting CBBE to run properly. It seems that the only thing that is loading is the textures. I've checked and everything seems to be installed correctly, including the mods to the ini files. I don't have any other mods that should be interfering with it, so I'm at a loss as to why it won't work. If I go back to the vanilla textures, everything is normal, so that means the body mod is not working. I must be missing a file somewhere, but am unsure which one. The problem has been previously mentioned here about 10 pages back, but was eventually burred under other posts. If someone could explain how to fix this it would be much appreciated.

Is the NPC being fully nude (not wearing a nude suit or alike)? Even though you said you did the .ini edits, check them again to see if they're correct.

You have to add this to your "Fallout4Custom.ini" file that's located in "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Fallout4":

[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=

The second entry doesn't really affect things much if the first entry exists, but it's there to decrease loading times.

Did you download everything from this page of Caliente's post? Did you manually transfer everything over? I think your issue is you need to grab the textures files from the zip and plug them in to your {HARD DRIVE]:\Games\Fallout 4\Data\textures\actors\character\basehumanfemale folder.

And what Cell said above... of course.

The mesh is in the folder? Data\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets

Run bodyslide in administrator mode so they can put files in data folder.

You don't need to add meshes/textures to the resource string in Fallout4.ini anymore. bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 is all that's needed.

He already has the textures loaded in the game, as you can see in the screenshot. The issue is the body mesh and/or .ini setting.

@shamrock idk what browser you use, but in chrome you can right click and search an image. A high res one comes up and you can pretty much tell from there its fake, if that doesn't convince you it also shows up on tons of sexdoll related pinterests if you do a search on the higher res one. Plus, AA's boobs are bigger and rounder and her nipples are nowhere near that big.

Try loading with noclipping armor disabled. idk what it is but it sounds like it could be an issue.
