Slave prices might have to be tweaked to scale with level. With that said you should not have gotten 17k for 4 untrained slaves! That sounds like a bug. Do you remember what kind of slaves they were, or were you got them?

For some reason I cant access the house cell box to place any markers, I can use the token then activate the cage to lock it in place but after that clicking the small chest does nothing, brings up no menu at all. I also have no dilogue option to tell the slave to sandbox, although the other dilogue options work fine.

Does your slave have 70 submission? It's required for them to sandbox, follow or generally be out of their cell.

 

About the menu not appearing, first time I hear of that. Can you try accessing the menu, then quit the game and post your log please?

 

 

The slave did have 70 submission, as for the log where would I go to get that.

 

 

Nevermind, got it.

 

 

Just to note I loaded, saved reloaded then opened the box twice.

more random bugs thru out the log as well, if i was to guess you have an issue with a custom race that was poorly written or not cleaned up

that's minor enough it would normally be ignored, but in your case its just a guess to why your heathfires is spitting out so many issues

 

note also the first 2 bugs spit out enough spam that cleaning that may be enough to get other mods working better

 

finally almost half-way thru the log i was about to give up and i find more indication of a bad save here:

i think if i uderstand that right you had a stack collision at some point in the game, probably from the spam listed above - the game wasn't able to save the data properly from that - its either that or you have more stuff from mods you uninstalled, the game doesn't understand how to handle the data without those mods there until you clean the save...if its even salvagable

 

i'd suggest look up papyrus data transfer from nexus and choose to "remove loose scripts"

hopefully that's enough to fix it - what i've found is that once it reaches that last spoiler its usually too late to salvage

 

 

Huh, I didnt know there were so many bad scripts going off, I use Save tool which is supposed to remove scripts like these but I'll try out the program you suggested, in regards to the mod I fixed it by leaving the cell and re-entering it, this allowed me to place the markers. As with the dilogue I dont know becuase they slaves arent at 70 submission to unlock that option but at least now we have a fix for the troubleshooting section.

 

EDIT- Tried the dilogue, everything seems to be working perfectly. the sandbox is working properlly, thanks for the help.

It would be great if consensual sex would improve it.

Also does a guard help at a temporary camp?

And... Tokens never work for me if stacked. If that is not in the documentation - emphasize it.

 

I would love to use TDF too - but the CTD rate is more than I can handle.

Which version are you running? I'm not aware of an issue with the temporary camps, but I'll take a look. Sometimes you need to move the slaves a little bit, if they happen to be in a different map grid they won't see the camp. It doesn;t depend on a guard being there or not.

Running v0.95 07-06-16.

For a temporary camp I get the campfire and a bedroll. My three slaves are close. No dialog options related to the camp.

Permanent camps work fine, and a guard is on duty.

 

I am getting an awful lot of slaves...  Are there specific limits for house and camp slaves?  My PAH count is always close to zero, so 50 there is fine.

All Skyrim uniques work fine, but I am scared of the templated bandits from Deadly Wenches. Moderately scared of generic respawning bandits.

 

Ah - one more random thing. I have tried multiple times to coc to the utility cell. That always gets me a CTD. Nothing obvious that I am missing.

Weird... I can't test that version though. Try upgrading to 0.97, the camp works in that version and you can safely upgrade a running game.

You can have max 50 house and camp slaves in total (not counting the ones in the Restless Hunter)

Bah - I lied. First page of this topic says current version is 0.95. I am actually running 0.97.

Should the temporary camp have the same dialog option as the permanent one (stay here for awhile)?

What is the effect of trying to have more than 50 house and camp slaves? Does it tell you and fail gracefully?

that's an issue to bring to me at the pahe thread, I don't always catch the reports here...I've had a couple other users report that issue, but since I had no problems with it I need the papyrus logs from those that have the issues with it

 

if you're having problems that slaves get stuck in the cloning cell and you can't coc there either you might have something in your log to look into fixing that could also lead to the dialogs working here at home sweet home

 

edit:

 was a misread about tdf, still the same modder so i'll be pointing out the errors I found with it, but there shouldn't be any ctd's from it

I have a new problem though, and I could use some pointers in tracking it down.

Since I installed 0.98 (and USleep), I no longer get the initial enslavement dialog of "Be quiet and put this on" and "Listen. You are a slave now".

in most cases if you're not getting the dialog you need to reinstall skse so if that doesn't fix itand rebooting pahe doesn't fix it, then post the log

Is it always safe to use?

 

For those of you who find your Hearthfire houses to be totally inadequate as slave bases, you can start over.

Remove the Hearthfire DLC and anything based on it (like USleep and Home Sweet Home), load a save game and save.

Then replace the mods you removed.

If you did the original Hearthfire Quests, it is just then a simple matter of seeing the Jarl's Steward and purchasing the lots again.

I personally prefer to have all three mansions with a big empty storage room for the cell.

 

The Lakeview basement cell is unusable with an upgraded Lakeview cellar. The weapon rack blocks the entry - and is not removable.

Some wall sconces in the cell area would help too - that place is dark.

If you tell the trainer to make themselves useful, they should keep training. Maybe that's a bug, I'll have a look.

Training is a bit slow, yes. I can add a n option to increase it a bit

 

Snap out of it is always safe to use!  If you use it on a trainee during sex or punishment, you may have to give the command to the trainer as well, that is all.

Suggestion: Could you make the town home upgrades have the same function (keeping slaves) as the tokens and can be used in lieu of them at those locations? (rather than make them just cosmetic and make the prices the same if you like)

Reason: (1) In smaller homes (e.g. Breezhome) the only sensible location to deploy the token is exactly the same spot you have for the upgrade...so there's no reason to buy both.

(2) The token does not clear existing stuff from the cells. Even in un-upgraded rooms in town homes, there's stuff like unmovable crates, cobwebs and the like which will remain inside the cell when/if a token is deployed on that location - cluttering the pen up. Cosmetically, the upgrade is a much better choice...if only it had the functionality....

Ah a workaround. So I can remove the token cage and it still retains the function. e.g. I can tell a slave to "go to your cage" or "escort another slave to cage" and she will go to the house upgrade one and not get messed up trying to find the now un-deployed token cage, yes?

More or less. When removing the cage, the little box remains and you can use that to access the menu. You then have to remove the original cell marker and place a new one in the house upgrade cell (using the menu from the box), and the slave will go to her cage.
