Paradise Halls - Home Sweet Home

This mod works with Paradise Halls (PAH), and lets you keep your slaves in camps or houses, freeing up a PAH slave slot as well as your time: in most cases a slave kept at home will not require your attention.

You can play with the slaves in your home, have slaves train other slaves, and appoint a taskmaster to manage all slaves in one house. Slaves can also be made to entertain your quests or house carls. When you are home, enjoy watching your slaves go about their day, there's dominance, torture and whipping, sex, posing and dancing.

This mod is no longer WIP but "stable" (depending on your definition of the word). Development continues, but focuses on fixing small bugs as they arise, and adding small bits of functionality.

Posting a few fixes and additions (version 0.2)

Fixed a few behavioural issues
Added dialogue to access the slave's inventory (the quick dress / undress options are still there)
Slaves now require at least 70 submission to be made into proper house slaves. If they are at less than 70, they will go sit in the cell (or be escorted there by another house slave if you have one). Supposedly, even a freshly caught slave can be kept save in the cell without fear of having them escape, but they cannot be ordered to help around the house. If you want to train them further, collect them from the cell first ("Time to hit the road")

If a slave gets stuck in a pose or scene, you'll always have the option of retrieving them from the house into a standard PAH slot. This should reset their state. In case of a stuck animation, order them to sit or take them out of the house to reset it.

Installation:

For new installations, follow the instructions above (i.e. install like any other simple mod)

If you have already installed the first version of this mod, grab the zip file from the top post in this thread, unpack the contents to [...]\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\data and overwrite the existing mod files. Then start your game.

Posting version 0.3, file attached at the top of this thread.

This adds the following:

MCM Menu to check on your house slaves and toggle some options
If you have a trained house slave (submission 70), you can ask them to train another slave.
BDSM menu with various poses, rope, chain and device bondage
When a slave is training aother one, you can ask the trainer to fetch the trainee from the cell or return them from it. If you ask the trainer to "make themselves useful" (sandbox), they will play with the slave in their charge.
A slave being trained by another will gain Submission slowly over time.

There are some minor issues, mainly having to do with animations and behaviour; nothing game or slave breaking If a trainer somehow gets stuck, use the "snap out of it" command to fix them.

Another issue: turning a Paradise Halls slave into a house slave sometimes leaves the PAH slots a bit messed up. The MCM menu for PAHE will show an empty slot. Resetting PAHE through the MCM menu will fix this without affecting any other slaves you might have slotted.

i tried saving and reloading my saves but not getting any dialogue from jerrek. House is in falk hearthfire

edit:So i bought a house in whiterun, the dialogue showed up only for the whiterun's house. Does this mod work with hearthfire's houses? Or do i need to build all the rooms in my hearthfire house for it to show up?

Jerrek will show dialogue only for the town homes that you actually own, and you need to have sufficient gold also.

The mod does not add dungeons to the Heartfire houses, but maybe I will get around to that later

Any luck with that bug about them becoming unresponsive? Of the three slaves I've tried to assign to Breezehome, one of them became unresponsive immediately, and another became unresponsive after I tried to adjust her inventory.

Virgosbond, that's a nice idea. I think it's possible, but I'd like to add some preconditions such as having enslaved the owner of the house first. It would probably also allow only a smallish number of houses to be so used.

next time you encounter this try clicking the slave count from pah mcm, that should fix the count with out requiring a full reboot

i'll add this to my testing list and see how things go

if we had been informed sooner we could have worked around that already and it would be in the next update

we can't fix a bug if we don't know it exists

I mentioned this bug to blabla1 in a private conversation last year (the conversation was about something else). He said he had done a lot of work on the related code in PAHE and that it was probably already fixed. I left it at that, it didnt seem too critical

Virgosbond, that's a nice idea. I think it's possible, but I'd like to add some preconditions such as having enslaved the owner of the house first. It would probably also allow only a smallish number of houses to be so used.

They were just generic bandits I'd captures. I think. I renamed them so I can't remember exactly what they were, but I know that they were NOT unique NPCs.

last year we had to fix that issue in pahe for other reasons, he may have thought your bug was covered under it

the description so far sounds like you may have the bug we had to fix with felglow

it's on my list now, i'll be testing as I get time away from work

try renaming the slave, its a known bug with any/all renamers that they can lose their names if they get too script heavy

-if the slave is already removed from pah, then its a hsh bug, try adding it back to pahe

finally bought my house in whiterun and talked to jarek about the cell

first usage I told a slave to watch over the place and she left, couldn't find her anywhere so reloaded...

then repeated that dialog and told another slave to stay here for a while

then I told the first slave to train the other, but the only thing that happens there is the mcm says the slave is being trained

-the kneeling greeting seems to override all other commands given, fix or disable that and other animations might start to work

i'm going to leave those 2 slaves there for now and see how long it takes to train the slave or if 1 escapes or breaks the mod in the mean time

-how long should I expect any of that to take?

in the meantime anybody facing bugs with pah should be using the repack

There's something up with the Breezehome navmesh, I notice this too that sometimes a slave there will bolt for the door instead of going where you told him to go.

They do sometimes get stuck after kneeling, this is addressed in the next version (if that happens, just walk away and appraoch so they kneel again, that fixes them). But the training animations only appear if you tell the trainer to "go make themselves useful", they will sandbox and from time to time (like every 1-2 minutes) do something to the slave in training. If the trainer is following you, waiting, or sitting in a cell, there's no traing animations but training does continue.

I don't remember how long the training actually takes It is based on gametime and updates every so often. But it takes a fairly long time. They will never escape though: that's because slaves low on discipline are always either in the cell, or under supervision of the player or a trainer.

Weird... It shouldn't take more than 1-2 minutes for them to do something. And especially in Breezehome, make sure you don't block them (stand in the fireplace or something).

ok now to make matters worse it seems that after I saved the game with this mod controlling any of my slaves, i'm unable to reload the game after exiting

had a couple days of gameplay in and started to get a bit laggy from playing so long so decided a good time to save, quit...

after that the farthest I could reload was back to breezehome after taking pah slaves from this mod I made an alternate save point before giving them back to the mod control and continuing, unable to reload anything past that...

Strange, I haven't had anyone report something like this. I will install the PAH repack and see if that makes a difference.

Does the game crash upon loading? Anything suspicious in the logs or clues from a gamesave cleaner?

the game itself loads and any saves before that will load, but any saves with slaves told to stay there thru the mod dialogs can't be loaded at all and simply disabling the mod doesn't get the save to load either so can't uninstall it to clean it
