lambient1988 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Hi there guys, I am looking for custom voiced follower mods. So I was wonder which one is your favorite so that I could give it a shot.
grandtroll Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Victoria Velina. She's annoying but hell she gets the job done.
SweetLover69 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Why not take a look at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40960/?, he's been my favorite companion since I found him in a jail cell a year ago. He also has a an MCM Mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70035/?, I haven't been able to use yet, but it looks really useful.

myuhinny Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Theres Vilja in Skyrim by Emma Amgepo Lycanthrops Vilja is a companionmod with quests you should never feel "forced" to play Vilja's quests instead of your own. They should be a natural, integrated part of your life in Skyrim, but last for a long time. Vilja doesn't only have her own agenda - she also has her hopes and visions, her thoughts and opinions, and a background story that she will share with you over time. Her dream is to become a bard, but as all women in her family traditionally become alchemists, this is what her family expects also of her. She isn't the best fighter in the world (why would she then need your help?), nor the best marksman, and when it comes to spells, she starts with only a teleport spell and basic healing. However, this will surely change over time, and she will become more and more efficient. She also has a broad range of other features, and she will certainly change your lonely life in Skyrim, as she is talkative, curious and very unpredictable. She has tons of voice files. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26393/?
Zerosleepless Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 My fave definitely has to be Interesting NPCs , sure sure they don't look particularly good but I've fallen in love with each and every one of them. If you prefer substance and quality writing and voice acting over aesthetics, then i highly recommend that mod.
johnny2by4 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 my current favorite is sofia - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54527/? a fairly funny companion that doesn't have a voice that grates on my nerves like vilja. i'm also watching this one, recorder - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68683/? who just seems like a good fourth wall breaking companion.

winny257 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 None !!!I hate it in a group (with a trailer, companion) to play.I make dear my own thing.
lambient1988 Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 None !!! I hate it in a group (with a trailer, companion) to play. I make dear my own thing. Strictly solo only?
winny257 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 None !!! I hate it in a group (with a trailer, companion) to play. I make dear my own thing. Strictly solo only? Yes! which is easy to explain, if I a error make then I am angry with myself. but if a NPC (Follower) or a fellow player (multiplayer game) an error makes, then I can not on this angry being. the anger remain then sticking to on me and that's not good for the health.

Maybe I don't know wha that feels like because I haven't played with followers. Time to try that out.
ambria Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Tania because she's cute and there's an option to tell her to shut up for when she gets annoying I'm also quite fond of Japanese voiced followers
winny257 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Tania because she's cute and there's an option to tell her to shut up for when she gets annoying I'm also quite fond of Japanese voiced followers that is the second reason why I hate Followers Mods! there is no single mod with a sweet German voice and I want to understand what she has to say.

For those who hate the annoying, get in the way, give you away, always making a mess of things Companions...but could use a helping hand once in a while or help out as a distraction in battle, there's this little Mod Summon Animal Pets: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4034/? Is my go to Mod ...I love the convenience and the extra hand only being there when I want it there, so never in the way or a problem ...My favorite so far is the Sabre Cat, is reasonably fast and deadly, big enough to give me cover if I need it, but not cumbersome... Personally I have found Bears too slow and smaller Animals too quickly and easily beaten down, the Sabre I find a nice middle ground.
Kain82 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Vilja, Inigo, and Sofia. You can find them all on Nexus.

GimmeBACON Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 winny257's on to something, companions ruin my stealth, trigger traps, eat my arrows, and give me a headache. What we need is something like Fallout 3's prototype medic power armor, or Fallout New Vegas's stealth suit mk II from Old World Blues, they talk to you, but don't get in your way. Plus they alert you of danger. The only downside is the stealth suit can get you addicted to med-x...
Mud Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Well, there are mods to fix two of those four issues. Can't do much about the headache, though. Ibuprofen, perhaps?

Rayblue Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Follower mods have to include perks that would keep them from, say, triggering traps. That's where TES5edit comes in, to quickly edit the follower and add perks.
Lurkermin Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 They say you never forget your first, in this case it'd be first custom voiced follower. and for me the first and best will always be Alicia (you can find her here too!)
FauxFurry Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 As of the release of Inigo version 2.2, it's Inigo by several thousand fathoms though Sofia is a close second with Vilja at #3 and Recorder getting the runner-up prize. I can't rate Alicia on the same level with the others since it feels like comparing apples and pineapple hand-grenades. She is my favorite tank follower since she doesn't merely tolerate being hit by allies, she actively seeks friendly fire and she has the durability to take it which is boosted by being hit enough times by it. I certainly enjoy having the housecarls from the base game around a whole lot more when Amorous Adventures is installed, however,so I might just run with them and Inigo when restarting the game from a fresh install (a mysterious bug has started manifesting that ruins all male bodies save for SAM no matter how many times they are reinstalled and with nearly every possible mod set-up so I decided to nip in in the bud by uprooting the whole tree) just to keep things fairly simple for ease in future problem solving.
