Watchamacallit Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Guys. quick question. I'm trying to get the pubic hair to appear on certain sets of armor for females only. Would this require me to edit the mesh .nif itself? (to ensure male variants dont get their "schlongs" out.) Â
Grummkol Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 With the new ability to apply a dye to meshes with racemenu, could that be utilised to do hair color matching on pc/npcs rather than treating it as a head mesh (and having the resulting problem with bodymorphs causing the mesh to explode due to lack of tri files)? Maybe an xedit/zedit script to pull the hair colors from your active mod list and stick in a txt file with formid and modname, then SOS can import and assign. Though might need to access the nif file data as a lot of npc overhauls don't utilise the hair color in the esp and have a custom color set in the nif instead. I need to dust off my coding skills lol

I repeat here a question already posed in the "General Discussion" section: My character is a North, with UUNP.  When I click on "Download this file",  SOS Addon - Pubic Hair for Females 1.3b offers this download list: SOS Pubic Hair for Females.rar 5.66 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon 1.1.7z 3.12 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females CBBE Bodyslide.7z 12.65 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females UUNP Bodyslide.7z 30.49 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon (All Styles in One) .7z 3.05 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon 1.2.7z 3.08 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon (AIO) 1.3.7z 3.06 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon 1.3.7z 3.05 MB SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon (AIO) 1.3b.7z 3.08 MB  Which file (or files) should I download? (Maybe the question has already been asked, but the post is long, and I do not know English: this is a google-translation.) Thank you! I've only become aware of this mod a few days ago, but since noone else answered...  As far as I can tell it's as follows:  You need only one of the "Addon" files. Optionally you can also get either the CBBE or UUNP Bodyslide files. If you are using BodySlide, I highly recommend getting these for the body you use, or you could end up with the pubic hair floating in front of the character, or being inside the body and thus invisible, depending on your bodyslide preset.  As for what is what. The "All styles in one" gives you four seperate addons in SOS so you can pick and choose which style you want for a character, independant of race. If you pick any other Addon, you have only one SOS addon, which will adaptively load the mesh that is associated with the character's race (see discribtion). And AOI is a version compatibale with ... whatever AOI is. I don't know either, but chances as that if you don't know the abbreviation, you probably don't have it installed.  If you pick a single-addon file, pick the latest one.  You can also pick both a single addon and the All Style addons, which will put all five addons into your SOS. You could for example do this if you generally want the females to have the pubes of their race, but still be able to alter specific character (or just your own) to have a certain style.
Dojo_dude Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 So reading the above, did anyone ever get these to match NPC hair colors? They're always black for me.

Teeeight Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 I downloaded this file "SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon 1.3.7z 3.05 MB" activated it on vortex, loaded a game.... It loaded in my MCM and when I killed one of the Stormcloak women in the Helgen Dungeon, they were still hairless. Did I do something wrong or does this not work for NPC...
Kristus Kringle Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Any movement on making this work with morphs? Because it looks awesome.

You can use it for SE, convert with Cathedral Assets Optimizer (nexus), and there are bodyslides available somewhere but it breaks with hdt/smp physics, the screen blacks out. Can't remember where I got the bodyslides but they are called "SOS Pubic Hair for Females Addon - CBBE SE - Bodyslide". If you don't find them let me know and I'll give a copy, it's only the bodyslides, you still need this mod. edit, page 5 of this thread.
RealFredDurst Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Got this to work with SE with help of the Bodyslide files, however there seems to only be one option when selecting schlong in game, but I've built all 4 in bodyslide. Any suggestions?
AutVincereAutMori Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I'm using the mod but it's only showing when no body armor is equipped. I doubt it's supposed to work this way.    EDIT: Nevermind. I found an option in the second MCM menu to treat the armor as "nude".Â
delgathar Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Hello,  In the downloads, the top one which is usually the oldest has no version number but it is also the biggest which usually means it is the newest. On the other hand the bottom one is smaller but it is on the bottom, which is usually newer. When I install both into MO the top one is completely overwritten, so should I use the top one with no version number, or the bottom one? The signals are conflicting. Thank you.

Ok, that's why. I was thinking I might have installed it wrong. If the game doesn't insta crash, everything goes black until I scroll in far enough that the hair is off screen, then it goes color again. Should I consider this a NO GO with SMP or is it something I can fix? Thank you.

Why convert the LE version when there's already a perfectly fine colour matching SE version with bodyslides posted?  Â

Zodiac213 Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Is it possible to adjust one of the options to just use a flat texture but still be colorable? While I do like the 3d hair,I liked being able to see the bush under thongs while not clipping through it.
WhatRules Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 It's not very practical that it occupies slot 52 because that's used by the bottom parts in Amazing World of Bikini Armor and many other armor mods. If it didn't add the slot to your chest armor it could be ignored, but as it is now I'd either have to change the slots of all bikini armor or not wear a bikini bottom. Â If you can't change the slot, is there a way to keep the mod from adding slot 52 to my chest armor? I know there will be clipping but at least I won't have to show my character's private parts to my enemies.
angrykiwi Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 I have created the bodyslide for SE cbbe 3BBB body (that doesn't explode), install like you'd do with any other mod. (P.S. i've run the base mod thru Cathedral Assets Optimizer, you might have to do that as well) SOS Public Bodyslide 3BBB.rar 5
Altwen Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 After messing with this mod for several hours, I give up. My char has white hair and everyone in the game now has white pubes. Idk why the original mod author would go through so much trouble to make something as nice as this mod is when the end result is unusable. I just want everyone to have dark realistic pubes and I'm able to accomplish that up until the point I open racemenu and then everyone is snow white again. Sad thing is I can't even edit the meshes into an equippable mod without them changing color WHY? I've deleted scripts, deleted every instance of color changing effects in the .esp, manually changed textures, edited .nif data nothing will stop them from changing color so I guess its an uninstall and fresh game save again. Wouldn't even bother with this mod unless you're going to play a dark haired character forever.
