stuffed_bunny Posted September 13, 2012 Author Posted September 13, 2012 Does cb++ converted armor and clothes support bbp? One user over at skyrimnexus asked me. I have choosen cb++ bbp for converting' date=' but the boobs are still hard as stones. [/quote'] None of the outfits except catsuit support bbp, just as the originals. Â I have tried copying the bbp-weighting of a CHSBHC_0 armor. Unfortunately, the way its weighting works is not compatible with CBBE BBP - chsbhc seems to more heavily breast-weighted. I would have to reshape the outfit mesh to fit the chsbhc_0 body, which apart from messing up the bodyslide preview, also could become a long annoying trial-error process until it all fits. Either that, or weight-paint manually, or possibly partial weight-copying. In any case, too complicated for me... we have to wait for CBBE BBP versions of the vanilla outfits (from killerkeo or perhaps Caliente). Â hello ? Stuffed Bunny.. why is my slider are crumpled on the bottom of the window ? i cant customize the lower slider on the window D: its lie the window is not enough for .. how do i fix this ? You have to click the down arrow or below the thumb on the scollbar. Â I have updated the Bodyslide gui with a fully working scrollbar' date=' and Caliente will probably include those changes in next Bodyslide version. No ETA on this, but possibly I can get permission to release an exe in the meantime. Â edit: i do read about caliente's post regarding this.. but i cant find the "moonballs_sliderset.xml" file... so i am very confused right now D: please help me There hasn't been a moonballs_sliderset.xml since v0.6, abut 6 months ago.
Leiska Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I'm a bit confused how BodySlide modifies the armor meshes. I'm trying to replace Killer Keo's skimpy nordplate with Caliente's Vanilla version' date=' however, using BodySlide seems to always revert it back to the KK version even if the meshes in the data folder are of the Caliente version. I'm happy with the rest being KK but I don't like the nordplate and would prefer the more modest version. Â Is there no way to mix outfits from multiple groups? Or do I need to modify the groups somehow? [/quote'] Â When you batchbuild, the last group will obviously overwrite the previous one. If it's just a single outfit, building Caliente's version afterwards is enough. Â If you like to make your own groups, have a look at the XML files in SliderGroups folder. Don't be scared, it's just text after all, and some copy/pasting will do the trick. Ah, now I understand how it works. Strangely, I get a could not save bodies error trying to create bodies for Caliente nordplate even though everything appears to be correctly installed. Oh well. Â By the way, any plans of adding the leg sliders back? I think my current low weight frame could use slightly smaller thighs.

I have worked 1 month to create and correct weightpaintings for VORB. It was a pain in the ass to make it look good in every situation. I have added 12 new bones to scale the mesh via different weightpaintings. I would love to see BBP for cb++, but i really can understand if there is no one to do it.

ChronoTrigger77 Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I'd like to learn more about using the Bodyslide_tools. I'm impressed by how you've used it convert (for instance) all of Keo's outfits and I'd like know if this tool could be helpful in converting Mak's excellent Remodeled Armor CBBEv3M. I realize he's using a different base bodyshape, but noticing that this shape is a preset in Bodyslide for CBBE, I wondered if this could be exploited to reshape Mak's armors to CBBE v3 proper without having to edit each one in a 3d modeling program. Would this even be possible? Would the Bodyslide_tools help? What would I need to know? I've downloaded your tool and played around with it, but the step by step instructions are sparse and it doesn't include example files to work from, so I'm probably missing a lot. Â Thanks for your thoughts!
stuffed_bunny Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 By the way' date=' any plans of adding the leg sliders back? Â Â I would love to see BBP for cb++' date=' but i really can understand if there is no one to do it. [/quote'] It has nothing to do with CB++. There just are no CBBE BBP versions of vanilla outfits. As for other outfits, there's Alans BBP armor pack (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=8315), which I might start porting some day.

In the slidersets, you have to adapt sliders to the amount of shapes. Preferably there should be just one shape per texture, at least that's how I did the killerkeo conversions. Â As for MAK's outfits, there's an v3 conversion (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22953) that might be useful. The other option is to use the originals, and add an inverted v3m slider to the slidersets. In any case, the shapes still need to be joined or sliderset creation becomes a nightmare, at least if done manually. Though it's possible Slidermaker could generate the slidersets. Â Would the Bodyslide_tools help? What would I need to know? I've downloaded your tool and played around with it' date=' but the step by step instructions are sparse and it doesn't include example files to work from, so I'm probably missing a lot. [/quote'] Convert-BSD is practically a requirement. If you need examples, have a look at the batch data (.rd) files. Or use Nifscope to export body and outfit OBJ (after transform->apply) from an existing Bodyslide nif. Add some bsd files from the CalienteBody folder, and bake a few minutes. Done.

[/quote'] Â Thanks Stuffed Bunny. Yep, those batch files helped. Had to fiddle with file and directory locations, but I got it to run using one of the outfits you'd already converted. That's a start! But as you hinted, using MAK's .nifs as the source didn't work so well, so I'll have to play with it. Â (Yes, I did see that CBBEv3 Conversion of Mak's work on the Nexus, but that's for CBBE lowest weight only, no weight slider and definitely no bodyslide).

[/quote'] So, the v3m _1 nif would be the best source then. If you want to play with this, pick a nif with a minimum of shapes. Then you need an inverted v3m slider - create one by using v3m_1 as source, and either ShoulderTweak or CalienteBody as target. Â After that, run Convert-BSD. Sliders: inv. v3m + whichever you like, body: v3m_1 obj, outfit: v3m outfit shape obj. Run again for each outfit shape. Modify a batch file if you have lots of shapes. Â Finally, copy and modify a sliderset. Example: Â MAK Example1.nif meshes\armor\example1\ torsof of whatever the target nif is called BaseShape name of shape, might as well rename to BaseArmor name of second shape v3m_i.bsd Example1_v3m_i.bsd ... other sliders here.... Â As you see, it's not that hard, just time-consuming.
stuffed_bunny Posted September 15, 2012 Author Posted September 15, 2012 I got permission to release a Bodyslide exe, with modifed UI. Try it out if you like, if it feels safer sandbox it. Let me know if there are any issues, but it seems to work well.

Oppaithon Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 If I could make a request. If you ever find the time could you consider doing a Daedric Armor? Xanshio I believe is on this board as well. Thank you
zomg a user Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Maybe I'm retarded, but I can't get it to work. The .exe is sitting in the calientetools folder right by the normal exe and windows just tells me it's stopped responding as soon as I try to open it. Am I supposed to do something special with it?

awvan Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I have the same issue it seems. The .exe file is in the same folder as the other, old .exe file (just like in the screenshot), and it crashes as soon as it tries to load. I'm running XP64 if that matters.

I just tested it in XP32 and unfortunately it's the same. Original Bodyslide runs fine. Not sure what might cause this, perhaps MVS2010 links to libraries incompatible with XP... Edit: I'll try to build for vc2008, maybe that helps... Edit: Nope, no change. Â Â hello' date=' how to make myself a conversion for an armor ? is there a didacticiel ? Â Well' date=' I have now managed to make it work on XP, so Vista should be ok too. The problem was that messages were sent to the controller before it had been constructed (and its variables inititated). Apparently this was not a problem in Windows 7 for some reason. Â Â Dear me!
