Hello people,
Before asking, thanks for the mode, it's interesting and sorry for my english (not my native language).
But I have a problem, don't know if I have done a bad installation or a bad load order or something but my game freeze when I use the option "orgy after killing dragon" or "orgy after cleaning place".
I've disable these options for the time I can fix it but I want to try these options, do you know how to fix it?

Thanks. I was just wondering (since I only kinda-sorta understood the explanation of how what npcs desire is selected - partly at least by previous experiences if I understood even as well as I thought). I was just curious, it's not at all a big deal. I invent little backstory-ish preferences and whatnot for npcs who are more or less important to a given playthrough. So, it's not even a request, just a question from someone who doesn't know enough about coding/modding to figure it out.

 

SexLab keeps a number of counters (which can be seen on the SexLab MCM Sex Diary page) to keep track of how often an NPC engages in oral, vaginal or anal sex (as well as a couple of other counters, like how lewd/pure they are, times victim, etc). The NPC choice option looks at these numbers and does a random roll based on them. So although each NPC can choose any of the options, if an NPCs oral score is very high, the chance that they will select oral sex is higher, if their anal score is very high, the chance they will choose anal is higher, etc.

 

This option is still very much being tweaked though, as it was only recently added. The next version has a much more varied algorithm behind it that should lead to more varied choices from the NPC.

I was wondering, and couldn't find a definitive answer (not to say there isn't one and I just missed it) but is it possible that the "whatever you want" option results in a threesome if there's another npc of appropriate relationship rank handy?

I have done some preparations in the current version to make that possible, but it isn't active yet. I expect to add that at some point, but I can't say yet when I'll find the time for it. First I want to flesh out the NPC choice a little better, once I'm happy with the one on one choices, I'll look into adding a possibility for a 3some.

Can you post a papyrus log from a session where you had such a freeze? Without that there is little I can tell you.

 

If you had not tried this yet: try turning on the "Startup CTD fix" option in the SexLab Animation Options MCM tab. Also, the "No teleport" option (which when turned on causes NPCs to walk towards each other normally rather than to teleport to each other) might make it easier on slower/more overloaded systems to start an orgy. When the NPCs teleport towards eachother all of the sex threads will be trying to start at the same time. When the NPCs walk towards eachother the starting of the various sex scenes will be more 'staggered', i.e. there will be a second or 2 between the starting up of the sex scenes of the various groups, which may make it easier for your system to handle it.

I suppose at a high enough arousal level, a "you look horny, want to bang both me and a friend" option would make sense. I think something like that is planned for the next version, tied to dragon kills / soul absorbs.

In next version this will be fixed: when you kill a dragon, the witnesses of that kill can be asked to start a threesome, just as if they were lovers, for up to 1 hour (real time) after the dragon kill.

 

What is already possible in the current version is to select a dragon kill witness as 3rd participant in a 3some started through dialogue with a lover (normally only allies and lovers can be selected as 3rd participant).

 

Next version will have a large number of internal changes in the dialogue tree which makes it much easier to perform these sorts of checks. In addition it will feature the ability to disable specific dialogue options, as well as a paging system that automatically puts the most often picked choices on the first page of the sex choices and the less used options on the 2nd page (with a configurable first page length which even allows you to put all of the up to 32 available choices on a single long choice list without a 2nd page).

Here my papyrus log after killing a dragon and have the orgy. I tried to kill it outside in the nature and not in proximity of a town. Just have 3 persons in the orgy (including my personnage) and it worked.
But when i was cleaning a place and I just have my follower, it freeze. I really don't understand why.
I let the 5 minute before i close the game here.
And I ask, just for know, in the forum, is there a button to hide text? So I will be able to hide my code.

Here my papyrus log after killing a dragon and have the orgy. I tried to kill it outside in the nature and not in proximity of a town. Just have 3 persons in the orgy (including my personnage) and it worked.

But when i was cleaning a place and I just have my follower, it freeze. I really don't understand why.

I let the 5 minute before i close the game here.

And I ask, just for know, in the forum, is there a button to hide text? So I will be able to hide my code.

There are no signs of problems with SLEN or SexLab in the above log, but as you said that was a successful orgy. Try getting one from a freeze and posting that.

I really like what this mod does. But could you please add a dialog option for your sex mate to follow you somewhere private after the [Charm} stage. It's for this reason i had to go back to sexlab romance since you have the option of going to another location before intiating any sex rather having to do sex on the spot where you spoke to your sex mate (i.e whiterun market).

Damn, man (or woman - just assuming man by user name).  Read more than just the last page of a thread  ;)  .  This has been discussed thoroughly (and very recently, trust me on this - just go back 1 - 2 pages) and BM has very specifically said NO.

I frequently release new versions with additions. I don't like to look ahead too far though. This is what I have lined up for next release:

  • The sex dialogue menu now automatically puts your favourite choices on the first page of options and the less picked ones on the second page. This system is self-training. Separate lists are tracked for NPCs with each possible combination of vanilla sex and SexLab gender, so if you have different favourite choices with males, females, shemales or pussymales, this will be reflected in the dialogues with each of those. Threesome and Orgy options are still always shown on the first page, if available.
  • You can configure the number of options that will be shown on the first page of the sex dialogue options. You can set it so only a few of your fav options are shown on the first page and the rest is hidden behind the "(more)" option, or if you prefer you can set it so that all available options appear on a single page (warning, this can lead to a long list as the number of options available can reach 30 with certain NPCs)

I frequently release new versions with additions. I don't like to look ahead too far though. This is what I have lined up for next release:
  • Added a Masturbate lesser power that starts a gender-appropriate masturbation scene for your PC. This power can be added and removed from the MCM menu.

 

Most of those planned features sound really good, but since you require Aroused for this, and it has its own version of this, do you have some other internal tracking or tie in? A lesser power requires equipping and casting, Aroused just needs you to hold the "how horny am I?" hotkey which is already bound set up.

Was merely asking because I've come to enjoy this mod QUITE a bit and was wondering if this was nearing anything close to an end, aside from any updates or compatibilities.  I don't have your mind so I can't really see what more could added to this mod that you would like.

Whenever I come across something that I think could be better, it gets filed in a "things to improve" folder somewhere in my head, and at some point it pops to the top of the queue and I do something about it.

 

As for NPC on NPC, I don't use such mods myself, so I wasn't really aware of the dreaded status, it really isn't that hard after all... All you need is a quest with some aliases with appropriate conditions (haskeyword(actortypenpc), ischild==0, getfactionrank(sla_Arousal)>=50, etc, the usual really). Start it on a trigger (shout or spell, story manager event, etc) and call SexLab.StartSex if both aliases get filled. The only script that needs to contain a little more than "Quest.Start()" is the one that starts the sex scene really. I might have a look at it, now that I have implemented the virtual sexlife feature I might make sense to tie it into that. No promises on a delivery date though :)

 

The Dibella's Refuge location contains some NPC on NPC action unless you disabled it in your settings. If you hang around there for a few in-game hours you're sure to catch some action.

I consider it dreaded simply because various attempts at it seem to lead to crashes or save bloat because of heavy script use.  Lover's Comfort seems the most stable because it requires you to be indoors at night for it take affect, so it only really affects, at least two people.  When you're outdoors though is when the horror begins.

 

Though I guess Random Sex can also be considered stable, it's just a bit more non-con, and you know Random, then I prefer.

 

And if you feel up to the challenge, or just even feel like it, I certainly welcome the attempt.   :D 

 

Haven't yet unlocked Dibellla's Refuge, I think I'm only like 13 increases in.  Despite being a Casanova, my character tends to shift towards more longer lasting relationships (Followers) then some randoms he'll meet along the road.  Might have to change that a bit.

 

Oh well.

I just wish it would pick MY  nice double bed when I get the Pleasant Surprise, for some reason, even if I'm right next to my bed I usually get dumped in a bed at the other end of the house!

 

Yesterday whilst playing, I spent the night in Breezehome (modded  using ALL  Homes Remodeled) and instead of picking my bed, it dumped me 2 floors down in the basement children's room which looked rather stupid with a a threesome on such a short bed.

Small mods are constantly being created, but most are not fit for release :)  SLATE was released only a month ago or so. I like creating stuff within the SL/SLA frameworks, a lot of the separate modules in SLEN started as a small mod, but it makes more sense to bundle them so they can interact easier and people don't have to create merged mods themselves. SLATE was an exception to that because it has no ties to SLA and is a purely administrative mod with no gameplay effects.

 

Because of this SLEN isn't really a mod for which I have a specific end target in mind. As long as I keep coming up with stuff that fits the "SexLab/SLA swiss army knife" idea, I'll add them to the mix.

So aside from Dibella's Refuge, are there any plans for additional content or anything else planned to be added to this mod?

Like a Favored Lover Perk or Ability that after sleeping with your most frequent lover gives the Player a small boost of some sort?

Or fuckin' Dibella comes down and demands that you stick your Ovarie Baster in her Mooncup Vessel or something?

Just curious about the future.

 

I frequently release new versions with additions. I don't like to look ahead too far though. This is what I have lined up for next release:

  • The sex dialogue menu now automatically puts your favourite choices on the first page of options and the less picked ones on the second page. This system is self-training. Separate lists are tracked for NPCs with each possible combination of vanilla sex and SexLab gender, so if you have different favourite choices with males, females, shemales or pussymales, this will be reflected in the dialogues with each of those. Threesome and Orgy options are still always shown on the first page, if available.
  • You can configure the number of options that will be shown on the first page of the sex dialogue options. You can set it so only a few of your fav options are shown on the first page and the rest is hidden behind the "(more)" option, or if you prefer you can set it so that all available options appear on a single page (warning, this can lead to a long list as the number of options available can reach 30 with certain NPCs)
  • The orgy code has had an overhaul. Groups of up to 5 actors can now be formed. The code will automatically form groups of appropriate genders and size based on the animations you have installed and enabled.
  • Minimum and maximum group size can be configured for orgies on the Advanced tabs. Options to allow aggressive or furniture animations are also available there.
  • A new feature called "Virtual SexLife". Usually when an NPC hasn't had sex or seen nudity for a few weeks, their SLA exposure and timerate (and thus arousal) will have decayed to 0. This feature combats that effect. When an NPC is encountered that hasn't been seen for a long time and has a very low arousal value, their values are changed to make it appear as if they had a normal, healthy sex life while the PC wasn't around. Their timerate, exposure and last orgasm date values will be changed in a manner consistent with eachother, and with the NPCs values the last time it was encountered. The overall effect is that NPCs arousal values will be varied and realistic when you return to a place you haven't been for some time, instead of all being 0 or very low values.
  • Added a Masturbate lesser power that starts a gender-appropriate masturbation scene for your PC. This power can be added and removed from the MCM menu.
  • The "Whatever you desire" option has been reworked and should result in more varied choices by the NPCs.
  • The automatic gender swapping of the SOS Integration can now be set to work on targets in the crosshair, rather than only when they are participating in a SLEN event or dialogue. Note that SLEN itself does not need this option to properly recognize NPCs genders, however it may lead to better fitting responses with schlonged females in other mods.
  • Dragon Kill orgies can now involve a (theoretical) maximum of 49 actors, and Location Cleared orgies and orgies started from dialogue a maximum of 33 actors.
  • The Pleasant Surprise event will now find the single biggest possible group given the genders of the nearby actors and the available animations. No aggressive or furniture animations will be used in this event.
  • NPCs will use the player's bed or a nearby one when the player chooses to watch the Pleasant Surprise event.
  • Added a Snooze button to the Pleasant Surprise and Location Cleared confirmation message, which allows you to wait 20 seconds.
  • Small changes to the SOS Integration to make it more hardened against installations that contain remainders of incorrectly uninstalled versions of SOS Full.
  • The Tag Editor functionality has been removed from SLEN and moved to its own mod: SLATE (SexLab Animation Tag Editor). Please download this mod if you need the functionality.
  • Several internal optimizations and improvements.

Nice.

Was merely asking because I've come to enjoy this mod QUITE a bit and was wondering if this was nearing anything close to an end, aside from any updates or compatibilities.  I don't have your mind so I can't really see what more could added to this mod that you would like.

I see most of what's to come is bit more focused on NPCs.  That being said, any plans for a dreaded NPC on NPC action?

 

Dreaded because attempts of this have been made in the past to various successes.  (Very Script Heavy for those not in the know)

 

I do have my mind, but even I don't know what I will add next. biggrin.png  Perhaps unlike many modders I still play the game a lot too, on a daily basis. Whenever I come across something that I think could be better, it gets filed in a "things to improve" folder somewhere in my head, and at some point it pops to the top of the queue and I do something about it.

 

As for NPC on NPC, I don't use such mods myself, so I wasn't really aware of the dreaded status, it really isn't that hard after all... All you need is a quest with some aliases with appropriate conditions (haskeyword(actortypenpc), ischild==0, getfactionrank(sla_Arousal)>=50, etc, the usual really). Start it on a trigger (shout or spell, story manager event, etc) and call SexLab.StartSex if both aliases get filled. The only script that needs to contain a little more than "Quest.Start()" is the one that starts the sex scene really. I might have a look at it, now that I have implemented the virtual sexlife feature I might make sense to tie it into that. No promises on a delivery date though smile.png

 

The Dibella's Refuge location contains some NPC on NPC action unless you disabled it in your settings. If you hang around there for a few in-game hours you're sure to catch some action.

 

 

 

I consider it dreaded simply because various attempts at it seem to lead to crashes or save bloat because of heavy script use.  Lover's Comfort seems the most stable because it requires you to be indoors at night for it take affect, so it only really affects, at least two people.  When you're outdoors though is when the horror begins.

Though I guess Random Sex can also be considered stable, it's just a bit more non-con, and you know Random, then I prefer.

And if you feel up to the challenge, or just even feel like it, I certainly welcome the attempt.   biggrin.png 

Haven't yet unlocked Dibellla's Refuge, I think I'm only like 13 increases in.  Despite being a Casanova, my character tends to shift towards more longer lasting relationships (Followers) then some randoms he'll meet along the road.  Might have to change that a bit.

Oh well.

Thanks for the mod by the way.  Easily a staple of any mod list.  Try to lose your mind (or what's left it) until this ends.

Perhaps some new, smaller mods are in work?
