Hi there, short question, I reinstalled this mod recently but for some reason I can't start any home delivery Quests, although SKSE and JContainers are updated to the newest versions I get an errror message to post the papyrus log If it still doesn't work, the question is which one?

PapyrusUtilDev.log

PapyrusUtilDev.log0  or

PapyrusUtilDev.log1

Depending on your load order and your Mod Manager it is possible that a perfectly fine JContainers gets overwritten by some older mods which embeds an older version. Too many older mods had that bad habit

So your load order + Mod manger could be useful, too.

 

The Papyrus...log is the current one. blabla.log0 ..1 ..2 and so on are rotated versions from previous game sessions. Each time you start Skyrim, your last log gets shifted one number upwards.

 

Next thing you can check inside of your game is the RP MCM under "Quest Settings" if you have at least 9 (!) at your "currently registrered random quests" If not, click GO one line below and have a look what happens.

9 is the default that should come out of the box.

Let's go:

1. First of all: what about the MCM check? Does it tell you it found 9 jobs?
2. And I took for granted that your whoring skill in-game is sufficient enough? Right? You know that you need to have "earned" the right to do home jobs. Right?
3. JContainers does not come as an esp file ... so basically you have little control with NMM if you actually use the current version or if it got overwritten by some overaged crap (bundled somewhere within)
4. -> so you need someone more NMM-amirable than me to give you guidance how to get that right with NMM
5. My mistake earlier to not see that: it's 2 different things PapyrusUtilDev.Log and Papyrus.log  ... you posted the first one, the second one is more of interest if the steps above don't give us more hints what's going on wrong
6. Half of your attachments can't be read (LL error message) but I assume they are the same as the other half
7. Your load order does not give me a hint concerning RP... (though just by first glance I sense you might run into some other trouble elsewhere ... you sorted that by any means?)

1 yes i tried the MCM method and it told me 9 quests found.

2 I would think it's suffice to say, that my experience is enough, wenn the bartender offers me the option to make home deliveries

9 quests is good news!

The bartender is is a good judge, too. We are good if we trust him

 

Papyrus logging needs to be enabled. See here for a quick guide: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/368/

Attention! It eats up ressources on its own. You better enable it ONLY(!) if you want a log. Switch it off otherwise. Papyrus ressources are precious ressources and logging may lead to faults by itself.

 

Next idea if all else is right: Script overload. (I suffered from it myself)

Correct me where I'm wrong or insert the marker where it doesn't work for you anymore:

1. You talk to the inkeep
2. Inkeep offers you the selection with serving the guests, working in his inn or the home jobs
3. you select the home jobs
4. he answers you
5. -> NOTHING <- here ??? No quest message, nothing is entered in your quest ournal?

I had suffered at no.5 and the quest for home deliveries did not start. Highly probable reason was a completely overloaded papyrus engine which had too much to do and not enough ressources to get it done in time.

My first solution was simply to wait ..... wait ... and after up to 2 minutes it happened ...

My second solution was to COMPLETELY overhaul all my skyrim settings and to rebuild my whole setup of mods and *.ini settings.

 

I good indicator for overload may be to go into an almost empty inn and try home delivery there. At best, you only have the innkeep with you in the cell.... and then wait a minute.

If that works your problem is very probable papyrus.

 

If not .... without a log my best guess after that is in fact NMM ... or to be precise: it's lack of functionality to actually manage mods and to let you make sure, that you play with those mods that you think you are playing.

That is exactly what happened, no quest marker, but I will try to wait tomorrow to test if the cause is script overload.

Tried it just now, it just seams to be a case of script overload, after approximately 30 seconds the quest started

so I stopped gettin quests added after I accepted them in dialogue, e.g. I would say yes to the army camp quest and after dialogue finishes, nothing happens. So I decided to uninstall, save my game and then reinstall so I have a fresh wipe with no data for that mod so I can start again. But when I uninstall the mod, I either CTD upon loading the game, or get in game and CTD when saving or entering a new cell, making it impossible to uninstall without presumably making a new character (which I would like to avoid). Reinsalling fixes the CTDs but does not fix the mod, so it is still unplayable. Any help?

And the actual sex never launches when it comes to it, but i can collect money.

Oh I was just about to offer a suggestion but this is probably not being worked on any more.  Well anyway the mod works great and it is one of favorites.  Been using it on SE after converting it for a few months now.  

 

I'm thinking about making  a slight change to the bounty system.  Seems kind of odd to me that if you try to cheat the innkeeper they can put a legal bounty on you.    I think it would make more sense to have hire thugs be sent after you to collect the money with interest or beat the crap out of you.

Not a big issue but still something that bothers me. I have Solutions loaded last and the guard by the gate outside Whiterun still isn't stopping me. The gate is also open, and I think that's why he won't stop me? I have Requiem and Live and another life, but since Solutions is loaded last it shouldn't matter. Any ideas?

This is definitely the wrong thread, but the reason he isn't stopping you is probably because you haven't started the main quest line yet. Gates are only closed after the attack on Helgen quest is finished, which is something you can postpone with Live Another Life.

Ok i want to upgrade this mod from" v 1.08b loose files"i have been playing with this in my load for ages and it have never worked The MCM does not find any quests. And the amulet does not work ie (only on followers but not consistant )and i have never had any working clothes . I get approached thats all. I have Immersive Wenches ( works with them but not allways) and TDF pros, Skooma whore. in my load.

 

Im playing with an ancient SexLab version and want to later upgrade the hole shit but in the meanwhile..... can i upgrade this mod without rebuilding my patches?

JContainer 64bit dll is needed to start the first home service quest on skyrim SE. You should install it manually without mod managers.

As far as i remember Radiant prostitution didn´t have an option where you can decide this, but Sexlab has.

And other mods can also ignore the settings made in Sexlab and use there own settings.

BUT the mod author Cayden went kinda missing. His Account is gone, so to download his more up to date version is not possible right now. But you can ask in the thread, maybe someone send the file.
