Greenskins thought I smelled something.

Heh. I made an old CK2 mod for myself that had an Orc culture. I stopped it when I couldn't figure out how to do the custom portraits, many, many moons ago.

If you can't tell by my avatar, I'm a green skin sympathizer.

Here's the v1.20 change log for the update that will be getting posted in the next 2-3 hours.

v1.20
    - Merged dw_traits, nada_traits, remedy_portrait_traits into one file, for save game compatibility improvement
    - Mod compatibility improvements as there is no longer a full overwrite of landed_titles.txt or 00_minor_titles.txt
    - Added: Another stage on the Bordello Improvement event
    - Added: ReMeDy's fix for the static portraits for those who own the Early Eastern Clothing DLC.
    - Added: Virgin trait
    - Added: Command for your guard dog
    - Tweak: Minor edits to various Lilith related events.
    - Fixed: Missing event call in Fall of Selene event.
    - Fixed: A change was made at some point where I broke Vladimir. He's now fixed.
    - Fixed: Bad pregnancy target caused the wrong person to get knocked up in a futa on female event

This all feels very familiar.... Probably warp fuckery.\

Also, still smell a greenskin around here.

Yeah, it looks like our great image posting side tracked conversation is a casualty. But I'm certain it'll return... In fact...

Sad to report a major bug already.  No matter what ruler I choose, all the Council positions seem to be doubled up -- i.e. I have a Chancellor, Marshal, Steward, Spymaster, and Chaplain, then, scrolling down, another Chancellor, Marshal, Steward, Spymaster, and Chaplain.  Each is, by default, filled with a different character, if there's enough in the realm.  If one of those positions is empty, the names of all the titles and holders overlap on the top entry, and I can't properly install anyone in the empty spot.  I can deploy all ten advisors to the same or different provinces, on the same or different missions.

I tried this first with a custom duchess of Mumu in 1066, with other mods on.  I then restarted, turning all other mods off, and got the same result with Matilda of Tuscany (Catholic, vassal) in 1066 and the king of Svithjod (Norse pagan, independent) in 867.  Note that I did completely delete the old Dark World version before switching to this one, so it's probably not stemming from old files.

Wish I had better news, but hope this doesn't prove too hard to fix.

Have the same problems with the doubled Council positions I can however not assign anyone to missions as far as I have seen. Deleted the old Dark World version befor applying the new one and have all mayor DLC besides Horse Lords and Sunset Invasion. The 1.16 version worked perfectly so don't know what may have happened but hope it's an easy fix as I love this mod :)

Found a solution!  The job_titles file was marked as an addition, not a replacement, so we were getting one set of councillors with the base game setups and one with the Dark World setups (such as letting women be councillors for Lilithians).  The fix is simple: in the mod folder, find Dark World/common/job_titles/dw_job_titles.txt, and rename the file to 00_job_titles.txt .  Just tested it out and it works fine!

Found a bug with your dog commands: If you command your dog to breed with a female you see no event, however they get the rape victim trait. If you command your dog to breed with you (procreo! command) You get 2 events. One from the prospective of watching your dog and one from being the victim.

You're not supposed to rape yourself with your guard dog, so I'm not going to mess with trying to filter that at the moment.

In regards to the other issue - I've no idea since code wise it all looks fine, and the only way they get to the victim trait being assigned is by an event bouncing back to them AFTER it goes to the dog owner who initiated the attack.

Another bug with the dog: If a courtier orders there dog to attack you and you fight and kill the dog, you kill your own dog not theirs.

After pondering the issue during a Christmas luncheon, I think I'm doing the decision a little different than normal and may need an extra FROM in my first cast back to the dog owner. I'll make the change and upload it for folks to try out.

As an addendum, you probably shouldn't sic your dog on you unless one of two things happens. He'll maybe even 3.

1: has trait lunatic

2: has trait slow

3: insert idea here

Playing a male catholic ruler I marry a catholic princess. And I get the jus primea nocits (right of first night). I dont think I should be getting this unless Im of lilithian or luciferian faith, or am I wrong? And since Im getting married to her. It doesnt make sense to get that event anyways, since she is my wife.

Not sure if this was in previous versions, since I always tested this mod with females.

And yes I deleted the old folder even the save file folder.

Edit: Also even in previous version, when you for the first time hire an assassin. Nothing happens I go back to intrigue and I stll have the option to hire an assassin again. But when I do it the second time it all works out and the assassin shows up in court. And the recruit button in intrigue is grayed out.

Anybody else get this or am i just being delusional? Or maybe they just go to a different court immediatly or something?

Mmm, a minor thing I'm having trouble with. I run this mod as the base game (no horse lords), your mod, and sexual crusaders so there's not much to conflict - yet any time i run the command 'procreo' on anyone it does not seem to do anything. I receive no events, nothing apparently happens.  I completely uninstalled the mod and reinstalled 1.2 freshly made game to be sure the update went through properly.

Thoughts?

Grab v1.20b. I believe I was missing a FROM in one of my event castes.

By "run the command" just to be on the same page are you talking about clicking the blue tab in character screen, when you right click someone? Or in command console where you run cheats and what-not?

If you are doing it through the character screen. I dont think you can see the events that other character gets. Because I never seen any myself. I guess you have to look and see if they have any added traits.

Edit: Ok nvm what dew said get the latest version 1.20b, I just tested this with my male ruler and it works.

Jus Primea Noctis is available to any male ruler. While the "Right of First Night" is claimed to actually be little more than propaganda against nobility, it was widespread in theory as to who used it. So it's open to everyone.

Regarding getting it for your wife - I'd have to invite you to try and figure out a way to get the event to fire reliably, while excluding your wife. I opted that it wasn't worth continuing to fret over, since a person as the option NOT to do it.

I've not had the problem you're mentioning with the assassin and I don't have the time to test it. If some others can speak to it and perhaps help find the failure point, I'm all for fixing it if there is indeed an issue.

Ah ok, right of first night is for everyone. Thanks for clearing that up. Regarding the wife thing. Its no big deal one can always, like you said to, just say no.

But I do have another question. In previous version and in this version. When you visit the exotic emporium. The second option about "rare wondrous" items. Is that just a place holder? Or do I need to have something or wait for a certain event? Otherwise when I click it, it doesnt trigger anything afterwards.
