Mobilizer Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 The known and undeniable truth? l God Howard No doubt.
blabba Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 He'd be a god if he makes the next Elder scrolls game use a newer engine. #modderproblems
Luminar Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 He'd be a god if he makes the next Elder scrolls game use a newer engine. #modderproblems If he was a god, he'd make you regret that prayer by using a newer engine that makes everything more difficult, less versatile, and more clunky. You know it is within his power.
Mobilizer Posted July 11, 2015 Author Posted July 11, 2015 He'd be a god if he makes the next Elder scrolls game use a newer engine. #modderproblems For those who don't create mods though, it really allows us to expand our gameplay. And yep, I do agree that the engine is out of date. The release of his past 4 games have been triple A titles, so I expect nothing less.

Content Consumer Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 i. And LO, did it come to pass that in the year 2015, the Church of Gaben DID split into two halves; ii. And one of the two halves WAS the disciples of Gaben, who DID worship him still; iii. And one of the two halves WAS the heretical branch of Howard, who DID reject Gaben; iv. And some of the followers of Gaben were sore wroth, and they did GNASH their teeth; v. And some of the followers of Howard were sore wroth, and they did GNASH their teeth, as well; vi. For the two churches could not agree on who was the ONE true God; vii. And did Brother fight against Brother, and Sister too, and occasionally Cousin when Cousin came over for a visit or a family reunion; viii. Until one day, when DID the religion of John Riccitello come to these shores; ix. And the followers of Gaben and the followers of Howard BOTH did join forces against the common enemy; x. And all was well within the Church again.

Coopervane Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Half-lfie was first mod friendly game, so without Gabe there would be no Howard. Uhh, no.. The reason Half-Life was mod friendly was that it was based on the Quake engine, and id Software has been making mod-frindly games since atleast Doom if not sooner. Infact it was very much with Doom and Doom2 that modding as we know it got it's start. Though that's not to say Doom was the first moddable game, it was just the first to make it managable and popular.

Content Consumer Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Well there was Commander Keen (1991) with it's small list of mods. Really? I played Keen (1-6 and dreams) to death, I don't remember finding any mods for it. What kinds? But I did play a lot of doom mods... my favorite was Chex Quest.
