biikaru Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 hey apogee, how you been? not talked to you since back in GVZ days with Mass effect 2
Guest Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 hey apogee, how you been? not talked to you since back in GVZ days with Mass effect 2 yeh still floating around i see they have modding tools for ME now, i've run out of mod juice for ME but still visit the game now and again meanwhile back at Skyrim - somebody made all the ME biotics powers and the Normandy crash landed near Whiterun
Demonwise Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I was doing a lot of texture editing for ME3 as well until I encountered a problem that that has even my shit tied in knots. Obviously I have ME3 with Origin, so the standard principle to run texmod is to copy texmod into the game directory where the main game executable file is. Then rename the game exe to something else. Then rename the texmod exe to MassEffect3.exe. Then run the game through Origin and the shortcut will open texmod and from there you can select your mods and then select the renamed ME3 exe as your executable in texmod. That's it. Based on that everything should work. My problem is that the main game will not run, I can get Origin to launch texmod but for somereason texmod will not launch ME3. I don't get an error message or anything. I have also tried to run the game by elevating texmod to administrator level and disabling my antivirus but to no avail. I had some really great mods that I had come up with everyone if I could get my game to work with texmod again.
CanaryYellow Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 I have a .bat file that someone on here posted that will handle the using texmod for me3 for you if you want me to upload it. It has always worked for me.
Demonwise Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Sure, if you don't mind, that would be great. Since nothing is working I'm willing to try anything. If I can finally get it working again then I'm willing to upload the various mods that I have made for the game as well.
CanaryYellow Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Okie dokie, here's the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?9ui8rumriyipzao Obviously you want to run it before you load up Texmod and ME3 itself. Once you run it, it's pretty self explanatory just some button presses, loading up your mods of choice in Texmod and viola! It's always worked for me. Looking forward to seeing your work!
Demonwise Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Well sadly it didn't do anything. In fact all that bat file does is rename the two files for you. I can do that myself. That being said I am still stuck without a texmodable ME3. This is soooo frustrating because I know it has worked in the past. I'm sure my damn computer has some secrete security settings that are fucking with my texmod. Wish there was a way to purge all references to texmod on my system whether it is in the registry, security settings, temp files, downloads, whatever. Make it so that my computer has never once encountered texmod and then see what happens.
CanaryYellow Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Sorry to hear that. I've seen a lot of people report texmod errors of various sorts but I haven't seen anything quite like that, so I don't even know where to suggest you start looking. I hope you can get it to work somehow!
jonny82 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Oky anyone remember that there use to be a way to choose your skin and all that through a modified file or something?

dematb Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I love all these mods. Is there any chance i can have jack exposed but with tattoes?
Nymphonomicon Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 This is just a thought here, but wouldn't it be relatively easy to work modded armour into ME1? Seeing as that game worked with a more traditional RPG shop system, you could make an armoury license for a "company" that sells only modded items.

I might have to resurrect my ME3 game AND my ME2 games just to dust off the 23 clothing variation and 5 nude mods that I had created. If I can get them working again I'll upload them all.
CanaryYellow Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Did you have any luck, Demonwise? I'd love to see the work you did!
seyfer Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Who can update link's ? And add some new nude mod's..
Guest Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I have made some more mods, they are pretty big files and will also need ME3Explorer setup correctly. They are at the ME3NEXUS, which is also where the required mods before install are. they are labeled NSFW cheers

GMan2 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I dug up Jack's file on my PC...kinda surprised I still had it. http://www.mediafire.com/download/2c27pfdymb1dydj/Jack_-_Nude_Mod.tpf (This is the Rick 9 Nomad Jack file....all credit for the mod is his/hers/theirs.)
blakpolarbear Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 All the mods are great but I've noticed that they are mainly for PC format, could anybody answer me if there are mods for different formats such as Playstation? Any help or advice would be great.
