I really don't know why the script wouldn't be applying properly. It might have been something I did wrong with the alias, there.

Which is weird, because the previous save I used was one where my character was still in the LAL starting cell... Ah, that makes sense. Skyrim saves a lot of internal stuff in your saved game. Updating some mods mid-game can cause problems because if Skyrim thinks it has already been loaded, it doesn't try to do it again. It's actually caused me some major problems testing mods in the past - for a while, the Devious Manual was working just fine for me but not for anyone else because I kept loading what I thought was a "clean" save from the starting cell, only it wasn't really. The moral of the story is - there's no such thing as a clean save, no matter what you do with it or how little you've done with it. Don't believe people when they say that some script cleaner fixes problems - all it really does is delay them. And keeping a saved game in the starting cell can make things a lot easier, but it can also lead to problems. When testing a mod, it's usually better to start from scratch. Time consuming and irritating but often necessary.

It already does detect if it's properly initialized, actually. It puts up a debug.notification, that's the "updated" message in the upper left corner. Your problem might have just been an alias consistently refusing to fill. I hate aliases, they never seem to do what I want them to do. I'm not the only author who dislikes using them either. It's just that they're necessary for so many things. I could actually get around using an alias here. The only reason I'm using one is for the forcegreet ai package and dialogue script - triggering sex immediately when clicking "reward" instead of detouring through a dialogue line is actually a lot easier and less prone to screwing up. I dunno, I just didn't want to go that route, because there are already several simple ways to trigger sex on a whim. Matchmaker springs to mind. The whole point of Reward Your Followers is to provide dialogue for it rather than just click-and-cum. I'm still thinking about it. Aliases are the bane of my existence, and I might decide to get rid of the dialogue just for that reason.

I tried on another instance of the first safe, and every horse I invoked behaved normally until I rode them on their back. From that point, nada, no more sex. Okay, that must be something with Convenient Horses then...? At least, I don't know of anything in the vanilla game that would be doing something like that. I've ridden horses and then rewarded them, rewarded then ridden, it seems to be working fine over here. I mean, a horse is still a horse before and after you ride it. There are only three conditions for the popup to appear - actortypehorse, player arousal >= setting, and horse arousal >= setting. My guess is that Convenient Horses changes the horse keyword when you ride it? I don't know of any way to test that out in the console either... Have you tried disabling Convenient Horses and trying again?

The popup will appear, but not the dialogue. Hmm... I had a 3-hour delay set at one point, but I thought I got rid of that as unnecessary. You could try waiting for four hours and see if that fixes it.
bicobus Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Waiting doesn't fix anything, however I found out that the only affected horse is the last I rode normally. All other horses work fine. If I ride another horse and go back to the one that wouldn't initialize the animation, the animation/dialogue will then start. So, the only affected horse is the one used to move around. Which gets some extra effect on it by CH, like a cloak spell I believe (or is it by CF? Urh). Anyway, it's actually logic since the game only track the last used horse by the player to move it around. CH should do the same. Also, another weirdness: I hit esc once during the dialogue, and now the dialogue won't disappear unless I forcibly exit it. Selection the dialogue option just make the dialogue come back right away.

IIRC there turned out to be some reason why it wouldn't work, but I can't imagine why not. I'll try it out. To extend the followers support, could it be possible to use JSON data? As such that to add a follower, one should just add a new .json somewhere in the data folder for the mod to recognize it. You can set up a json to do things like record arousal settings and RWRD states, that kind of thing. Can't do that with dialogue, though, the engine doesn't work like that. The only reason nonvanilla followers are working right now without being dependencies now is because of a nasty hack, and even then all the dialogue still needs to be done directly in the CK. I've had requests to do something similar with DYKWIA. It *might* be possible to use text replacement codes to get something like titles (i.e. swap out "dragonborn" with some user-defined string) replaced dynamically, but I'm not confident in even that much. For general dialogue? Not a chance, sorry.

This should hopefully fix problems with arousal settings not working properly (unless I forgot to remove something). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get rid of the alias, so there's still the potential for the alias to not fill properly, which will make Sexlab try to start sex between the player and nothing. In that case, the camera should switch quickly to third person and then nothing will happen. Not sure what else I can do here.

You won't even have that option if you don't have a dog as a follower.

As of now, with creature framework & co. and dialogues, every single stray dog has no dialogue at all where originally the player could ask them to follow. I tried to find out what was going on through the CK, but that software sounds like a russian speaking chinese to me. Speaking of dialogues, would reward your follower make use of the small relationship framework introduced by SL Dialogues? Or better yet, the one by Sexual Fame Framework? The former allowing a per individual relation as to who dominate who, but seems simple. The later is broader and has a lot more feature you can rely on, the player character will be haunted by the choices done. I'm asking because I searching for something more than this allusion. I mean, both party should have more parameters than being horny to be interested in an intercourse. Maybe some like it rough, and other to dominate while each relation could evolve with time: Lydia switching from submissive to a dominatrix style (I'll carry your burden, but you'll pay me with your ass!).

You won't even have that option if you don't have a dog as a follower. cause i got another mod for followers but no mod for pets or horses hence i want sepeated if possible
