Depending on how painful it is I may attempt to change the texture so that it doesn't exactly resemble the generic DD padded belt. I have no idea how fiddly or awkward this might be but it should be fun at least to try. Since the player was promised a 'very custom harness' by Serafina I'm planning to create a DD harness and do some tinkering with DD scripts to see if I can create some interesting behavior from the harness. Unfortunately the whole 'belt must come before plugs' situation is giving me a little difficulty trying to script the interesting behavior I want and I'm not sure how to navigate the scripts well enough to avoid this as of yet. I've got a wrap up ending for the quest in mind, there's going to be a bunch more sexlab. I think now I want a little more control over the sexlab scenes so I may look at ways to cause the exact animations I want to avoid weird things like giving female npcs boobjobs and such. I think two days worth of scenes but they may take a bit to plan out since I don't just want the repetitive 'stand in training room, receive copious amounts of sexing' like what the mod currently has. Current goals for next release. ETA 1 week+ Finish up a more custom looking DD belt. Create a very special custom DD bondage harness. Write enough scenes with enough variance to reliably fill a two day period of time without being extremely repetitive. I'm thinking 6 sexlab or DD orientated scenes with 3 a day will be suitable before calling an end with some dialogues. Have NPCs be very mean to the player. Allow the player to be very mean to NPCs in return. Finish the quest. This quest stops after you get locked up and send back to the inn right? The quest stops after a few more sexlab scenes after going to, and returning to the inn. As of yet the quest does not have a final wrap up.

Have you tried a save and reload at all? if the quest won't start you I've got changes in that aren't tested yet so I can't do another release while keeping my progress. I will add a prompt to the quest objective to 'query the innkeeper' if he has seen Andrea since his dialogue should appear correctly regardless.

The only problem I ran into was my character would rotate out of position during some of the sex scenes with Serafina. Otherwise, everything worked pretty smoothly. Glad to hear you've got some more ideas to add into the mod. I'm looking forward to what comes next. Great work!
sfeile Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Tried out the .02c version. I had to use the patch to start because I had no dialog. After loading the patch everything worked just fine. The only things I really noticed on my setup were bad neck and hand seams, I had to reload and walk behind the bar when talking to the innkeeper, and the final scene Jenna was placed on the horse fully clothed. Other than that, animations worked fine for me, scenes cut well, and no freezing other than the one instance where I talked to the innkeeper from in front of the bar. I really like the story and the way you implimented everything. If you get stuck for more story, I have a few ideas if you are interested. Unfortunately I know less than nothing about modding beyond installing them, so I have no help to offer there. Excellent job so far, and I am anxiously awaiting the next update!

Save, archive and upload. I'm wary of uploading anything new as of now as I may or may not have broken my devious devices install as well as the quest. Oops.

I loaded the fix and then reloaded the autosave when I walked into the inn and it worked just fine from there. I did disable my cursed loot just before starting and made sure all devices were off, and this was a fairly new character on a cleaned save before loading the quest.

When I was learning to use aliases in the CK I had a similar problem: the quest was not starting and the aliases were unfilled. I did a bit of research and found that Allow Reserved helps with some situations, but you also need to check Optional so, if the alias fails to fill, the quest can start anyway and try to fill it later (or something like that, I don't remember right know). The difference here is that the quest IS started (at least for me) but perhaps the Optional flag helps here too. For the record, I solved the problem with these console commands: stopquest mixasimpledelivery resetquest mixasimpledelivery But I had a problem later: Janna told me to sit and wait, I did that and she stood there and didn't go to fetch Serafina. Maybe I should mention that the quest marker didn't appear over the chair as it did in the previous version, but I'm not sure if still works that way.

Verstort Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Minor bug: if you start the quest already wearing DD gear the mod doesn't take that into account before adding items to the player, my character was wearing a collar and that got in the way of the player receiving the harness because the harness contains a collar and so DD stopped the new item from being put on first. Two easy fixes: remove all DD equipment during the transition, look for and remove devices that have the zad keywords for overlapping parts before adding an item. Minor bug: Your dialogue trees do not exit, so they loop back into the regular dialogue when they are supposed to finish and move into the next part. Dialogues like "mistress is not in the house, come back later" can loop fine but conversations like "Lets get you setup before breakfast" should probably end the conversation and start the scene. You can tell specific dialogue topics to end the conversation when reached with the goodbye flag.

My DD installation seemed to get buggered, so I'm doing a fresh install Lost about three days progress but should be easily made up. probably gonna take another week+ before I can post something that looks finished again

BillBellochek Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Just finshed the currently complete quest-line; I'm a fan so far. I like that the multiple dialogue choices make me feel like my responses will change the outcome, kind of like Captured Dreams. I don't believe they do change the outcome, but hopefully that will work out as the mod goes on. Its always exciting to see such a quality Devious Devices quest line. There are never enough of them if you ask me. Anyway, I had to use the patch to get Andrea to talk to me and I also got stuck when I returned to Windpeak Inn and found the marker pointed at the floor. Thankfully I read through these comments already and I knew to talk to the Inn Keeper. I just assumed that, since this is still in development, Andrea had wandered away. I'm looking forward to the custom DD equipment, and I'm very excited to see what the custom harness wlll do to me. Most of all, I'm looking forward to seeing this mod develop. In a case of mistaken identity your character finds herself in a situation where she was the item being delivered! So now she is facing a fate worse than death which could last the rest of her life. What will happen to her now and what will she do in order to escape (if she even can)? Play the adventure to find out ...

RockingStar101 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 (edited) Have a question, went to the inn, talked to andrea got the quest started, made my way to Serafina's house (it was just after 8pm when I got there), Janna did her dialog thing and asked me to sit in the chair (arrow marker appeard) which I did. Janna went upstairs opened the door and stepped inside to talk to Serafina, after that nothing happened the two of them just stood there. My question is, how long are they supposed to stand there before progressing the quest.? While sitting in the chair I can do nothing, can't get up, can't open inventory nothing. how do I progress the quest from this stage. Also had to start a new character to get the quest to start. tried on a prior save and got no dialog from Andrea at the Inn. To fix this you have to disable then enable Janna & Serafina in the upstairs room. Use NumPad 3 to enable freecam (or type "TFC" [without quotes] in console), then move the camera upstairs, open console & click on Janna, then type "disable" (without quotes) & then "enable" (without quotes). Do the same with Serafina. Then exit console & you should see Serafina start to move, followed by Janna. Problem fixed! (Don't forget to disable freecam! lol) However, make sure to save the game often, since I find that I've to do this multiple times to get characters to do their actions/dialogue from then onwards. (FYI, if you get stuck after this part, when you go to the bedroom & nothing happens. Just disable Janna, but don't reenable her until the screen starts fading to black). Thank you donotbugme for this wonderful questline! I really like the story & can't wait to finish it Other than the constant disable/enable I've to do on characters, & a crash or two I got for the first few sex scenes, I see no other problem so far. Verstort Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 I don't know if donotbugme fixed his skyrim install and/or is still working on this mod, but since I had to fix it on my end anyway I might as well upload the esp for anyone else who wanted to see if it fixes their issues but doesn't know how to use CK. This is just .2c with aqqh's select all and reserve fix, which fixed the issue for me, all aliases in-game went from None to filled, and I could get past stage 110 and leave the house and save without a CTD, and the marker to go back to the inn was visible instead of missing.
