The list of FNV downloads can be found here.

FNV is easier to mod than Skyrim because FNV does not shit itself when a script is removed.

It is highly recommended that you do not use NMM to install mods but rather FOMM which is maintained here.

thanzk for the good start. but how can i get mods from nexus to download too fomm? can thay go to other mod managers?

why cant i use nmm?

When using FOMM for the first time, you should be prompted to select a directory in which to store your mods. Download the files to there instead of using NMM. Alternatively, since NMM can be a handy download manager, you can download to NMM and then move the mods from the NMM mod folder to the FOMM mod folder. It is not suggested to use NMM to install because NMM has a habit of silently failing to install an entire mod, which can lead to errors. That does not mean that you cannot use NMM, but keep in mind that if you do, and require assistance with an issue, one of the first things you will be asked is if you installed with FOMM, and if you didn't you'll be told to try that first.

The standard version of Sexout works with FNV only. There is a version of Sexout for Fallout 3 here, but due to the script extender for FO3 being less advanced than the one for FNV, it's much less featured, and there is no plugin support beyond the basics that download includes.

In my personal experience, it isn't necessary at all. I have yet to see FNV even begin to approach the levels of memory usage that would require the 4GB patch, and I have a load order that has caused several users to consider me insane.

You have two options when adding mods to FOMM.

1. Download directly into FOMM's mod folder, which it should have had you set the first time you ran it. If it didn't, or you don't remember, you can see the path by clicking "Settings" on the main menu and choosing the "Fallout: New Vegas" tab.

2. From FOMM's main window click "Package manager" on the right. On the window that appears, click the arrow on the button above "Extract to..." on the right-hand side. Select "Add FOMod" in the drop-down list and navigate to the file you downloaded and wish to install.

Just as with NMM, there are some mods that aren't a simple plug-and-play with FOMM, and they're usually the same ones. If the Nexus doesn't give a "download with manager" option, that generally means the download is, for whatever reason, probably not going to install properly with either manager and you'll need to do some manual setup, which will hopefully be explained in the mod's OP or download page.
