Hey im having trouble downloading the file. Anytime i try the file says its complete but when i go to instal or extract it, its always either a corrupted file or theres a break in the sequence due to it encountering an unexpected end of line error.

Hey Jaques, do you think it's possible to make this new fem dragon mesh a replacer for Oodaviing?

I updated the post to have an optional download for that now--enjoy!

Try refreshing your cache (Ctrl+F5 on most browsers), and download it again. I'm not sure what I could be exactly. Make sure you don't have a bad internet connection or are simultaneously downloading other files that may upset the download stream. Else, try using a different program to unzip the file (though you can alternatively use a mod manager to install the mod as well since the directories should be mapped out correctly).

BBP ? hahaha :P

That would require editing the skeleton and I really don't have the time to test that out!

Holy Hell, you work fast! I'm very grateful, thaks for the quick update on the replacer. I fiddled with my game a bit when this mod was first speculated and couldnt get a handle on it, you're very talented!

I like how Odaviing's got an extra large waist in comparison to the other dragons.

Hey, do you have Dawnguard? You think that the dragon Durnehviir can have a similar mod applied to him?

I don't have Dawnguard by choice, but I have it mysteriously enough (probably a Steam glitch). I don't have it activated though, so I don't see the changes it makes in-game. However, using the assets, I made a fem-Durnehviir for anyone interested. Zombie lady dragons.

Durnehviir's female variant is a little closer to the regular female dragons in proportion, so not a drastic change--however, it was a very unique model in comparison to the other dragons in that it had other meshes connected to special shaders and the like (in the .nif file), so I'm not sure if everything was connected together right. The best thing is to test it out and let me know if everything performs normally.

Enjoy!

My female dragons have no breasts...

Only the ones you choose to will, and not all of them have boobs. The only ones I have made breasts for are the original dragon, Odahviing, and Durnehviir. Make sure you follow the notes if you want them to work properly (the .nif files in those particular directory need to be renamed/replaced in order to work properly). They all should have adjusted proportions and  vaginas though. Keep in mind that it's only female dragons that look female (if you are using the .esp),a nd they should be named "Dragoness".

Else, if you want to use the female models as replacers (boobs or not), you have to go into the "...\data\meshes\actors\dragon" and "...\data\meshes\actors\dragon\character assets" folders and change the .nif filenames by removing the "_f" suffix (you won't need to the .esp anymore if you are using this method). Hope this helps.

Well Jaques, in my astonishment of the arrival of this mod I forgot to check and see which of my characters had both Odaviing and Durnehviir unlocked, and apparently, I have no such save file right now, so while i speedrun to check that those mods work properly, I'll also give the main file a test.

If my memory serves me right, there's no way to just tell your dragon follower to walk around behind you as you can with this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49702/

I'm not interested in that at the moment since scripting is some funny business, the only reason i bring this up is because I plan to take screenshots of your mod in action and I doubt i'lll get many walking dragon shots.

two more things about this mod, how much trouble are my requests making for you? I'm very pleased that you respond so quickly, but I hope I'm not adding too much to your workload. Also, do you have any more plans for this mod or will you just be trying out requests for dragons people may have? if that's the case, this caught my eye, and I think a mesh and texture replacer wont cause conflict in it. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20473/?

I'll post again soon with in game shots!

You can always use the console to search and spawn different actors onto your scene, maybe toggle off AI detection--I'm not sure about forcing the actor into doing certain animations and following you, but you might find out how by searching it up. Unfortunately, I don't really have the time to do all that at the moment.

It's funny you bring that up because I did replace the dragons in that mod with the models I made re-routing the texture paths to correspond to the right texture, and editing the textures to get the proper color variance. However, I will not be able to share it since towards the bottom of that mod page, the creator specifically asked not to alter and re-post her mod--you might want to ask her about if it is okay posting mesh and texture replacers for her mod and see what she has to say about it. I know I didn't change any sounds nor the .esp, so if I were to post any changes to it, those wouldn't be involved.

Here's some screenshots. I used the boob enabled model since i think about 60 percent of the people on this thread would want to see it, but I also got a few shots without the boobs.

Thank you very much--I have included a link to them on the post.

Sorry I didnt get action shots, I couldnt move the camera fast enough, and I had a pair of archers following me

You might be able to slow down time by using the "sgtm" console command (stands for Set Global Time Multiplier), followed by a number (ie: "sgtm 5" --speeds up the game 5 times it's normal speed; "sgtm .5" --slows down the game's speed by half it's normal speed), with the default global time multiplier set at 1 ("sgtm 1"). If archers are following you in particular (and not the dragon), you can use "tdetect" which will toggle NPC's AI detection of you on and off. If you want them to follow but don't want to die, you can use "tgm" which will toggle god mode on an off. Hope these commands help!

it looks like Durnehviir's not working for some reason, not sure why.

Can you be more specific (or maybe take a test screen shot with him in the scene)? If he crashes your game, there might be an issue with rogue paint weights. If he's not showing, make sure you are spawning the right Durnehviir actor--else, make sure you encounter him where he normally is. If nothing works, I'll recheck why his model isn't appearing. If his model is just not being replaced (if he's using his default vanilla-DLC model or other model you've overwritten him with), it could be a file-naming issue on my end.

Edit: It seems I was missing a folder when mapping out the directories so the files probably unzipped into the wrong folder, sorry about that. I fixed it and reuploaded. Let me know if this works now.

oh, and I'm seeing  no problems with stretching during combat or upon ragdolling.

That's good, hopefully the meshes are bound to the skeletons properly and should not give any errors.

could someone be kind and uppload a model of the dragon in Obj file converted from the nif and the texture for the dragon and i will make it even more good looking model!!

Jacques would it be alright if i use my nexus account to upload this there im sure people would love it.

Also it wasnt any of those problems. Turns out the files were complete but my computer was reading the rars and individual files as phantom/ ghost filea or protected hidden source files. A quick clean scrub of my computers brain an i was able to stop the phantom error scripts haha.

In before people start demanding boobs on Jills of Akatosh.

Everything looks great! Think you could do a fem mesh for Alduin? Maybe add hip size equivalent to you Odahviing replacer, or greater?

Thanks again for the screenshots. I'll see about editing Paarthurnax and Alduin. I can't promise anything at the moment though since I am pretty busy.

I just looked over the dragons and I might need to edit the meshes and reconvert them out again since I'm seeing sharp edges where the UV seams break (You might not notice it, but it bugs me--I guess I ignored them the first time, but seeing them show up in the screens make me  want to fix them... but that's when I have the time for it.) Those edges just need to be welded together (.nif importing and exporting tends to break geometry at the UV seams and it can get annoying mesh editing while constantly making sure the overlapping vertices don't separate--good thing soft-select can help fix that issue).

Also, the boobs were primarily a carry-over from the initial boobs I had made--In my opinion, they honestly don't look that great, especially during animations, so I'll leave the refining to anyone else interested in fiddling with them. If any new improvements come up, they'll most likely be for the lore-friendly variants.

I can send you my .max file with all of them compiled into one (3DS Max 2012), if that helps. The file itself is kind of messy though, with a bunch of duplicates for reference and all that. But if I have the time, I'll try to clean it up before I send it to you.

You can at your own discretion. I know certain communities are sensitive to that kind of material, so it's really up to you if you want to go through with the reactions. In any case, it's fine by me, and credit giving is not really necessary since it was another kit-bash project for me. Most of the credit should go to Force2013 for providing the original mesh and texture.

Jacques00 yeah sure that would be great! :) can you make it into a other format like obj or fbx i dont use 3ds max so i dont think blender kan oppen .max files!

Or better yet this lady dragon could be used as a shout , your charecter shouts ,she flies in lands and grabs your charecter and uses him/her as a sex toy then drops you and flies away :) lol would be funny as a joke :)

Paarthunax and Alduin replacers should be up now as well as updates to all the meshes (main mod, replacers, and Jills) and a minor expansion to the main mod's .esp to enable female mesh swaps for Odahviing, Paarthunax, and Alduin (unrelated to the replacers). No refinement on the boob mesh skin weighting though, so animations with boobs will still look a little funny--but at least the mesh seams issues are resolved. Do let me know if anything breaks!

Updates should be posted here.

Hey guys, a dragon is nothing more than a very large lizard that can fly, lizards do not have boobs.  Female lizards do have slits and males do have penises.  Unless, because a mortal humanoid can have dragon blood you are saying that dragons are more internally like humanoids.  But if you pay attention to the game lore, a dragonborn has the soul of a dragon, not the blood of one. Frankly putting boobs on a dragon is a bit much.

Do not judge a topic by it's first post--if you look at one of the working mods that spawned from this topic, you can see that "lore-friendly" female dragons can be implemented, and the optional boobs were added "for the lulz". A sense of humor is recommended, but not required.

Jacques the credit section to the nexus is vastly different then here as it is in an entirely different section of the upload wizard. It seems tower wasnt able to see it properly or just couldnt find it. I had given credit when first uploading the file. But since the secion never showed i put the credits in its description

Im sorry if you thought i was trying to take credit from you cause that wasnt my intention. The nexus just has different rules about crediting when uploading mods that aren't your own. and usually the nexus always shows the credits tab wither with the description or on the download page. I had thought the credits were already showing when they werent.

The one thing that would make this mod even better (apart from more sexlab animations allowing male Dovahkiins to get it on with those female dragons) is if the female dragons had slightly higher-pitched cries. Maybe some different voices...I know that is asking for a lot though.

I have problems with dawnguard. The dragons are invisible, i can see only a few dots. Anybody have the same problem?

I haven't tried this with Dawnguard, so I cannot say. But just to make sure, are  you using any other dragon-related mods?

I know this mod can work with Dragon Combat Overhaul, if you put it under 'DragonCombatOverhaul.esp' since it does make changes to the DragonRace--because of that you might not be able to get the "Mortal Kombat" dragons if you put the 'Female Dragon.esp' under it. Though if you put it over, you might get those dragons and not the females (though I haven't tested this in depth to be sure of it). If they work together well, then good; if not, this may be the case.

Also, just something that might be related, make sure you are not using any mods altering how the game renders texture transparencies. Though I doubt this may be the case, I know that the Dragon textures use alphas and anything affecting transparencies, may affect the dragons. But again,  I am doubtful that is the case.

No. This my first mod with dragons. Most of my mods are armor-related, but just in case, what mods may alter the render textures? Name one for example, please.

Thanks for the quick response.
