A Forsworn Story

It seems I've run into a sequence bug in the trees restoration quest. I deal with the first tree no problem but when I go to Katalia at the Hanging Tree and solve her.. bug problem, the objective to restore the tree does not complete. I get the objective to return to Arlwyn instead and after I have spoken to her the whole quest progression ceases.

 

It's not arlwyn, it's the other (I dont remember her name)

Ye,s this quest could get a problem as well, I will check that since I update Ravenous.

 

Edit : problem found and fixed. It was just I made a dirty shortcut, and I foget to adapt the stages condtionnals.

Now it's fixed.

Since I suceed to make a MCM menu for the censorship, I will update a new version of AFS.

 

 

Not to be snarky but what exactly is the logic behind censoring a porn mod? I mean what exactly do people come here for plot?

The idea is to use the MCM to switch between sxe scenes and scenes "more shamanic"

 

For example, with Ethrane lesson, you will have to option to elarn how to have sex with wolves, or to communicat with them by using your spirit.

 

For now, nothing was done about this, I'm stuck on the MCM.

I am having two problems.  First is none of the armor is showing and gives me invisible bodies.  I don't know if I am missing something or accidentally put something in the wrong place when installing.  Second is Acusa won't talk to me at all.

Ascula can bug sometimes... it's not a problem of mod construction, it's a problem with the character itself (it was an hagraven). It's depend of people skyrim configuration.

Try to talk to Drana in attemp to check that.

Oh...I am sorry it was how what I wrote read.  I wasn't saying it was a problem with the mod.  The missing component was for the armor and more on my end than the mod construction (have windows 10 and the 7.zip Opener acts up at times and doesn't open the whole file.)

The mod is not built for work with MO, you need to install it manually.

 

Drana dont work too ? So, you need a mod who allow you to talk to animals...

After completing the wisdom trial with the werewolf and starting the new quest that requires you to find Vulkos, I cannot talk to Vulkos. She simply says "I don't know you, you shouldn't be here, etc" whenever I attempt to talk to her.

This is my first try with this mod, and i think i don't really get it, or there are some bugs, conflicts or all together:

1. I often get comments like "you should not be here", when i try it several times, i can talk to them most often, so it's not that bad... but i wonder if i did something wrong?

 

2. There seem to be an order in how quests should be done, but i get many and have no clue which i should do first. Example: So far i've finished 'Meeting the tribes', 'Skirmish for Dummies', 'Katalias lessons' and 'Yngrids revenge', open are 'Ravena must leave' (marker leads me to an East Company post), 'Princess of wolves', 'First Trials' and 'A wife for Brennus', which i try to solve:

I have also encountered something similar. When I am trying to complete the Wife for Brennus, I went to talk to Phage and she told me something about a poison (which is completely out of context.) Ever since then, I've got the "you shouldn't be here" dialogue. 

 

I cannot talk to phage now to complete the Wife for Brennus quest, and one of the progression quests, so I am trying to work around and do the Ravena questline.

 

I am now stuck in the Ravena questline after bringing her to Skyrim because I'm supposed to have sex with one of the Guards (Kind of dumb that it HAS to be the guard) and I had previously killed them to fulfill the "Bring two Markarth shields" requirement. So now I'm being continuously cursed and penalized because I have to have sex with a guard that doesn't exist.

 

Could you at least give me the codes to these quests so that I can manually progress?

The poison topic from phage means you forgot the patch, i guess...

 

I never faced the "you should'nt be here", so I cannot respond to your questions... what are different between your instalation and mine ? More, the forsworns dont have any ownership on cells... maybe you killed too ot of the, and they dont like you ?

Can you try to change the disposition of the NPCs toward you (in game, the default is 35, dialogues works fine) ?

Perhaps I'm missing the patch but I'm pretty sure I had all the necessary files when I installed it. I ended up having to go back to a previous save and trigger the setstage events consecutively. It's not until I get to Reachskull cave that the quest seems to be working properly. Perhaps the detection for the objectives is off?

 

I did notice that the first objective can be completed by simply looking at the map. (Where Ravena wants you to take her to skyrim)

 

Once you take her to the nord encampment and she makes you please her, her "pleased" dialogue just continuously plays every time you activate her. I had to cheat to get the quest to progress.

 

I'd love to see this part of the quest functional because it's arguably my favorite part of the mod so far.

 

As far as the "You should not be here" dialogue, I haven't killed any forsworn so the disposition should remain unchanged. Also I doubt any of my mods are conflicting because I did a very thorough cleaning of the installation, which was a fresh install at the beginning of the year. Approaching Phage seems to trigger the "that was supposed to be an easy task" prematurely. She starts with the dialogue about her almost getting raped and this happens whether or not you have talked to Ravena. It didn't happen the first time I talked to her, though. It's hard to say when that dialogue happened.. perhaps it was after I asked about the cabin or became a shaman or something.

 

Also I'm not sure who's doing the dialogue, but I wouldn't mind cleaning up some of the grammar and whatnot in order to make the mod a bit better.

Yes, the "you shouldn't be there" is a very strange bug... I don't know why.

 

For Ravena, I do my best, my skills are lower than AqqH one... Fixing Phage was not easy, and I dont have the skill to make the dusnik yal part...

I have the patch, and a quite clear installation as well, started new game... I don't have that much other mods installed, AFS is at the end of both sides in MO, so it's installed at the end and should overwrite any conflicts. Maybe that's the problem? Or maybe it's because we didn't solve any vanilla quests yet? For the question what is different: i have no clue, i don't know your loadorder I can try to change the relationship with sexdialog from submit, or maybe TDF. Or is there a console command?

I also learned that dialogues seem to appear too soon. Armin for example has the dialogue "this is Romu (the wolves princess)...", even before i talked to Romu the first time.

I'm playing skyrim in german, so in general when i'm told to leave a house or something, that's in german as well. Only here the dialogues are in english, so something has to add them... or at least call them, don't know if english dialogues/voices are included in my version.

Very cool mod, it seems that a lot of time has been invested here! the mod gives the forsworn a complete new backstory and aspects, thanks for that! need to test your other mods

 

so far still playing and I had some minor issues but nothing dramatic I couldn't fix myself

 

there is currently one game breaking issue which is the Ravena questline, this is completly buggy and also breaks other quests (Ascula, Phage, some strange "I don't know you"-bug rather than showing the question options) -> I would reccomend a quick fix completely removing the possibility to even accept and start the questline (several NPCs offer the start quest).

About Romula: all i did at this point was talking to Genserie to get the quest, nothing more. I had some more progress but loaded an older save, i know that .json makes changes in the whole game, even older saves, but that shouldn't cause any trouble with quests?

 

I have to admit, i never played vanilla skyrim very far... bought it last year and there are so much mods to try

But as far as i know, there are some vanilla quests with the forsworn, i just thought that might have some influence.

Another possible reason i might imagine: I've joined the Marses? (still not sure about the names), maybe there is somethng wrong with the 2 factions?

Anyways, started a new game again for other reasons (i've finally got breast collision working and fucked it up in some ways), i'll try again
