The mod is amazing, I really like your work

 

However, I play with a UUNP body and I was trying to replace the forsworn topless variants with UNP ones ... but there is something that I don't understand

In the game there are 4 variants of the forsworn armor included

1-topless

2-topless (no feathers)

3-Sicambres

4-Marses 

 

but in the meshes folder I can only find one mesh in the folder named "AFSForswornToplessArmorCBBE"

and in the textures folder there are 2 different folders "AFSforsworn" and "AFSForswornToplessNoFeather"

So I don't understand how you use this one mesh to make the 4 variants work in the game  ( you are a wizard )  and how can you change between textures ?

 

--> I have tried to get a meshe from "TroubleMakers Forsworn Armor" at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20966/?
     and replaced your mesh with it .... but that didn't seem to work well

--> I tried also to use nifscope and only replace the body inside your mesh with the body I use but It didn't seem to work correctly ... and in game the feathers disappear        
At last I gave up and decided to ask for your help ..   so any ideas would be really appreciated

The differences between the two topless forsworns armors are only the texture files.

The meshe is the same.

 

The marses armor is the vanilla armor.

 

For changing the texture, you need to add your texture file into a folder, open the mod in ck, find the appriopriate texture file, and change the former texture file by yours.

 

For the meshes, open the armor, open the AA file linked to it, and change the meshe in the same way.

Don't forget to register your modifications.

 

 

Another way is just rename your file by the same name of the file you wish to replace, and copy paste in the appropriate folder. It will erase the former file by yours, and you will get your new meshe/texture.

Be carreful, the textures files in the mod are adaptated to the meshes... you need to replace both.

hi 1 thing i figured u could mention in the description is that mods like amorous adventures who adds forsworn as enemys dont go to well whit this mod since all forsworn are friendly when u have this mod

Dont care if forsworns were peacefull... in fact, if the amorous adventure forsworns are not vanilla ones, they will not be affected by the forsworn friend faction, so they will stay hostile toward the player.

nope i just did the quest and i could just wander peacefully trugh an army of forsworn so im guessing its cuse they use an comon forsworn faction

hey folks i figured id let u know that the afs2briardrana seems bugged there is supose to spawn 5companions acording to the quest description but only 4 spawned soo i had to set it to stage 30 after killing the 4

well i just found out that there are 5 since i just entered jorvaskar and 5 of em got killed by the companions when i entered soo idk where the 5th disapaired of to when i did that quest but still i think u should give em an difrent resting spot than jorvaskar since im guessing that when they got killed just now i destroyed the quest where i have to kill em.

I dont already fixed that bug (in fact, yes, as the flask dialogue of Phage into Ravena quest, but i dont upload it yet), but yes, these 5 compaions are not supposed to go to Jorsvask...

Thanks man I managed to modify the meshes and textures for the forsworn topless and added a UNPB BBP version of the body (breasts jiggle yaaaay )   and it works

There's a whole lot of little errors that the folks here could do something about (for example, in the Cyrodiil Geographic, you use "wear" instead of "carry," the French word "porter" means both.)

I got a question I couldnt find the answer to anywhere, btw Im computer brain-dead, when installing AFS where do I install the Source folder? Do I put it in the Skyrim file, or in the Skyrim file in the Skyrim folder? Could someone do a path directory to show me, please please please?

made a new save and rushed towards her quest but that didn't change anything, also reinstalled the mod but she just doesn't seem to like me.

And I'd really like to continue further into this mod as it seems interesting

Changing her voice to female nord seems to have fixed it , a for those other 2 npcs I have no idea where they are( as I've just started with the mod) but I guess if they wont talk to me they'd require me to do the same to them aswell

 

EDIT: I've wandered upon Drana and she does the same, makes me wonder if I have a corrupted version of the Hagraven voice

How do I reach ravena?

 

Quest marker indicate me a small house nearby but say me to enter/exit in loop, when i see te marker on world map it out of the game zone and therefor behind invisible wall that even noclip can't overcome

 

otherwise what's her ref ID?

Dont do this quest, it's bugged.

 

I only succed to get this quest functionable to dunsnik yal, but I dont uploaded it yet.
