Just wondering, does updated versions (Anything release for Patron versions), after Public Released ones, will fix compatibility with NRaas Mods?

 

For example, without using this mod, inactive sims or npc or etc. sims in neighborhoods/worlds do everything they can do: visit various community lots for none school or work purposes, and do stuffs.

 

But, when I install this mod, sims in neighborhoods/worlds only do these stuffs: go to school and go to work, nothing else.

I'm able to use the Nraas mods with this mod no problem, both Patreon and public. Not ALL Nraas mods (Careers will ruin a lot of things, for example), but I can still use Story Progression just fine.

I need to use:

- Master Controller: Base-Mod, Cheats, Integration, Expanded Tattoo, Progression

- Story Progression: Base-Mod, extra, career, money, population, relationship, skill, etc modules

- Careers: Base-Mod, Schools, Part_Time, Tones, Self Employed, Academics, Unemployed

- Portrait Panel

- Register

- Relationship Panel

- Retuner

- Traveler

- Woohooer

- Tagger

- Tempest

- Traffic

- Shooless

- Porter

- Overwatch

- Etc.

 

Not all I don't think are fixed. I believe story progression did. Don't know on any others. I'm not a patreon so I can't say for sure, just what I've heard.

Ashal has alluded, but not making it an official LL policy, that Patreon authors using LL as a platform should make public releases no longer than 60 days after the patrons.  Typical preview window on Patreon is 30 days so Ashal already doubles the window.  He also mentioned that more than 6 months the mod is crossing the line. 

 

Every Patreon authors on LL except KW has adhered to the 60 days recommendation.  Based on the timing of the last update, it appears KW only made it so to stay within the 6 months limit for the LL exposures.  In addition, the author does not even show up here anymore and clearly is only using LL to get paid patrons.  That list of paid-wall updates since last public release is ridiculous. 

 

IMO, sometimes enough is enough.  The higher ups of LL need to make a stand.

And I want to have very ACTIVELY LIVE neighborhoods/worlds in various situations.

 

And I never actually played Sims 3 until woohooer showed up for first time cause it was very boring without NRaas mods.

Cause I try to play like real life style, even this game is virtual life style game.

 

Before that time, I was only a Builder (houses/etc.)

 

Not sure if this is considered as my reason for you.

Please understand....KinkyWorld does not make the world suddenly stagnant.  Sims still live their lives and do things, they just also do adult things like have sex.  Getting rid of woohooer is not going to suddenly make everything stop.

It will do that for my Sims 3 game play style.

All they do is go to school, go to work, that's all they do.

Woohooer gives me more Sims 3 play style for me.

It's not just woohoo skill and ability to woohoo everywhere that I NEED to have.

 

So, I can't remove woohooer no matter what.

KW doesn't have all that woohooer does. Woohooer isn't just allowing teens. Some people still use reg woohoo. Plus it lets me choose what relationship level I want romance to appear in the pie menu. I still use woohooer for several other options like having moods and traits affect who and when they do reg woohoo, removes that stupid walk after woohoo and several other things. Not saying there isn't bugs with both KW and woohooer but it still does what I want that KW doesn't have. I don't play just to watch sims have sex, I still play the same as I always did, KW just adds more of a romantic feel. I'm sure there's others who also still use the mods bc they do more with their game than just KW sex.

 

I don't have a bad enough of a conflict to remove it.

Do you have story progression and the personalities module? That is currently conflicting and basically makes your games story progression like the vanilla game. The townies hardly do anything or pushed to do much, mine aren't getting married, or divorced or affairs. Barely have babies either unless they are raped at the right time.

 

So if you do have story progression and any modules of it, that is why your town stopped moving. Woohooer doesn't affect that aspect.

See, I legit didn't know that Woohooer does all of that.  I had it in my game before, but that was because it was the only way my Sims would woohoo at all (pretty sure it was because of a bug).  Geez, guess I learned something today!!!

Was letting others know that KW doesn't have all that woohooer does. I don't think most used all the options anyway so getting rid of it wasn't a change, but for me and others it still a mod preferred to keep. :)

Your screenshot shows story progression and personalities. The personalities would be like the lovers and meanies and such. Those in this release isn't working so your sims won't be doing a whole lot till a new update.

Make sure to use MC's Reset Everything after you remove those to kick out any left over data. It's probably not needed but it wouldn't hurt to do.

As of now, when the new update comes out your story progression and personalities should be fine to add back in :) I'm looking forward to that myself lol

 

 

Nraas has an open policy and is willing to work with other modders to help work through incompatibility issues. I don't know the whole story so I can't really say much but something happened that caused them to close their doors to KW.

Well, even after I removed personalities module, deleted caches, done town reset, still only thing they do is go to school, go to work.

The time of sim is like Monday, 5:18PM
