I am beginning to feel like a broken record but here goes. Regarding the NPC85 mod. As per Guk's recommendation I unzipped the individual zip files including the "fix" file that included the data information recognized by mod organizer and then zipped them back together as a group. In terms of making the mod MO friendly this seemed to work like a charm. I was able to download and enable the mod (the plugin is jh-people2 esp.). I also make sure that I had all of the preqeques 1. ECE 2. SG Female Eyebrows 3. SG Hair pack 268 3. The Eyes of Beauty (main + elves + NPC). The only other mods that I have enabled are 1. Calientes 2. The various unofficial Skyrim patch mods  and FINIS. The NPC's that the mod changes all have brown and homely faces with distinct neck seems. No matter what I try I (mod order etc.) I cannot get the correct face textures. Guk mentioned an update but I cannot find one anywhere. I suspect that this is an ECE issue but I do not know how to verify that or correct it. Any ideas?

You don't need ECE for NPC85.

 

 

Now assuming you correctly packed the mod as an archive, you have to download the full version of LOOT so you can adjust the load order manually (add it as executable to MO)

Have a look at this:

Enable show only conflicting plugins

Drag conflicting plugins over into the "load after" window

 

And for any conflicting mods that have either scripts or NPC facegendata, your mod list (left) in MO has to match the plugin list (right).

 

 

That is what's causing the "dark face bug", when the facegendata doesn't match the info in the .esp plugin.

Keep in mind that you are working with someone who is not very tech savvy.

 

Regarding the archive. I simply downloaded the six files and the fix file, unzipped them and then put  all of them into a single zip file together. MO was able to unzip and enable that file so I assume that I did it correctly.

 

I have been using the version of loot that is part of MO already. If I am understanding you correctly this is not a complete version of loot and that I need to download the complete version and establish it as an executable just like I did with FINIS.

 

You are indicating that there are conflicts between mods that both modify NPC's. I understand this concept and have normally put the most important mod (the one that I wanted to be dominant) at the bottom of my load order. You are saying to essentially do that but that I have to use loot to tell me what those conflicts are.

 

What I am confused about is the UNO NPC overhaul esp. that you show in your screenshot. I have never seen that esp.. Where did that come from?

~85 female townsfolk and some important quest NPCs like Irileth, Elisif, Astrid, and so on. No followers from what i can see, at least no conflicts with SBF.

UNO = Ultimate NPC Overhaul, which changes pretty much every single named NPC in the game to at least have KS+SG Hairstyles.

In my installation it is the only mod that conflicts with NPC85, and LOOT would put it after it if i didn't set the rule manually.

 

 

Any mods that change NPCs can have 2 different conflicts - one is the data in the .esp, the other is the facegendata (headshape and facetint overlay). If they don't match, you get the dark faces.

PS Double click the folder icon to see the contents, then again to see the next folder icon. You are trying to download the "drive archive" not the zip file in your pictures. Once you get to the Zip/Rar files click that button, and select the WHITE option on the box that pops up.

Here are the 3 Rar packages of the SOGS 4.01 esp that were there, with google translated rar names, put in one rar to make it easier to download. Still waiting on the Main files to download since baidu is always slow.

If you're talking about the ones with the .001 and such, they're 7zip part archives, start with 001 and they'll unpack themselves.

I don't think so, and there's no reason to not have 7-zip since it's free and open source.

I've never been able to do it with winRAR or Winzip, All you have to do in the 7zip archive is click the .001 file extract to a folder and it'll do all of them in successive order.

I just got it to work with WinRAR... I picked the first .001 file, extracted the file and it opened the rest of the archives up too.

 

After it's all said and done, here's what I ended up with...

 

 

These archives are all uncompressed so hopefully the file sizes are correct and all the original archives were extracted properly.

Have you tried the Dawnguard one? In castle Volkihar the only one that looks like the screen shots for me is Hestla. Fura Bloodmouth, Salonia Caelia, and Modhna only has the same hairstyle with everything else looking nothing alike. I've tried full mod load and also minimal mod load in MO but nothing changed even with this mod being the lowest (plugin and mod files).

The bandit one makes Bandit looks prettier (I am using this, so pretty certain)

The last one might need populated civil war, then it changes the Stormcloack and imperial to look prettier

You didn't understand what i asked  !I didn't ask if these mods beautify the female High Elves,female bandits,female stormcloacks and female imperials, i am sure that they already do that.I asked if they change the male ones too and beautify them also

I've got the same problem as Neil3824, though I've noticed that it affects non-unique enemy vampires too. Anyone except Hestla and some elven vampires has this weird face bug. I've tried changing the load order, checked if it's the only mod affecting these npcs (and yes it's the only one).

I Use Beautiful Babes Combined, has some hair mod requirements but does both men and women and has plugins for Falskar, Helgen Reborn, Interesting NPCs, and a bunch of other mods that add lots of NPCs, effects humans, elves, orcs and vampires
