i have a question, have you ever thought "why should i use this clunky power armor when i look much cooler without clothes. but if i go nude, everything will kill me" if the answer is no, you are boring person and should go away. but i you answered yes, read further.

 

First of all, this isn't Leslie Nielsen porn mod. instead, this is mod to implement nudism into the world of fallout New Vegas.
currently this mod contains one trait and few perks, which work in the way that they give you positive buff when you are naked. and little bit of negative when you are clothed. the amount of buffs may change drastically as this mod develops. and as original author (read disclaimer on bottom) requested, this mod isn't going to get any kind of sexout plugin or stuff like that. besides, there is enough of that already.

 

[ill be updating accurate descriptions of perks and traits here soon, but i give you TL:DR already: this mod affects guns, sneak, luck, charisma, gives you partial invisibility, rad healing, armor penetration. all with respective perks. clothes off:you get buffs. clothes on:you get debuff]

 

installation is easy. just dump the stuff in the data folder or use mod installer (anyone of them should work)

 

Now few disclaimers(read these, seriously):
this isnt body replacer, this doesn't really make you nude. you gotta have other mods like type 3 for that.
this mods description gets better on the time being.
i try to update this as usually as i can, but sometimes it may take a while to update, unless its bug fix.
This mod is available on the nexus as the time being, but it may be subject to change if the mods of that site decide other ways. updates will hit both sites, so currently it doesnt matter if you download loverslab version or nexus version. http://tinyurl.com/m6r4b8o

Few questions i have gotten in nexus:

Q:" I've noticed that, naked or not, the base trait reduces Sneak by 25. Is this functioning as intended? If so, why is the Sneak reduction there?"

A:"i was actually trying to make it like this: you start as nudist, so people would stare at you a bit longer. but as you get more used to yourself (meaning open a new perk) sneak reduction would disappear (and even buff a bit). "

Q:" however, i got the "Shadow Runner" perk at lvl 7, but still have the sneak reduction.
Is it just intended to be "invisibility during night time", or did i miss somthing ?"

A:"i made it so that when you take shadow runner, your sneak goes up from that reduction. so when the perk nudist takes like 10 off of it, shadow runner adds 20. does i work like that or is it bugged?"

Q:"A little omission i think, for the perk "the naked gun" the displayed prerequisites are "Lvl 10, Nudist, AGL 7"... It seems you also require 7 in PER to unlock the perk."

A:"yea. thats bug. i dunno why that doesnt show up. and because i dont know why, i cant fix it. but trust me, im trying"

for that i suggest you take a look at defenders of dibella. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1240-dibellan-defender-naked-heroines-of-skyrim/ its good mod, not mine, but does the same. You get buffs when you are nude

I've only recently gotten into modding Fallout, and it's lead me here. I've been using this mod for a while, and thought it's not perfect, it's pretty fun. I'm elated to see a topic for this posted so recently. I had assumed this mod was dead, because the nexus thread hadn't been updated for awhile. Does this mean there might be updates for this mod in the future? I mean, even if it takes a awhile, anything new it more then I expected!

I was REALLY hoping for some classic Leslie Neilsen action! I loved the bit from the Naked Gun where Frank invaded a woman's apartment with a concrete dildo after hanging from said dildo for his life...

 

If it is not too much to ask, could you allow for the ability to turn OFF the stealth field effect?

 

When the player attain the stealth field, this will cause another mod called Sex Out Dynamic Relations to ignore the player because the player is seen to be sneaking.

It would make it more in line with Ghost In The Shell, where the Major would strip almost bare, and use thermal camouflage to flank, and outmaneuver her

opponents by choice and not permanently.

Hey, just sharing a bug report. This mod conflicts with the pregnancy mod. It makes you put on a 'pregnancy body' thing to make your belly bulge so you're pregnant. Despite what it is, the nudist penalty applies to it.

There ya go. You might or might not want to do something about this. In the meantime, I can't really use both these mods together, which I was hoping for. I was planning on staying nude so I didn't have to wear pregnancy armors and install them special, but your mod counts just being pregnant as wearing armor or clothing.

Ok had a quick look, all the perks basically check the armor rating of the Actor, they looked for 0 before, all the pregnancy nude bodies are AR 0.01 because if they were 0 NPC's keep unequipping them automatically and wearing armor.

So I just changed all the conditions to check AR < 0.1, I haven't tested at all but should work.

Otherwise some BuildRef magic would have to be done to check SCR's nude bodysuit formlist.

If not I'll remove it, I assumed from what I saw it was the only problem, but it's not my mod, so I don't have any real interest rewritting it to further fix. so grab yer GECK and have a go if you want it

I'll have to play with it more. I recently recreated my Koko character in a brand new game start and the initial Naked gun perk was available to her. Once I actually start to level and dig into the perks I'll drop status reports.

Finally got back to this game, due to some school work coming up. Yeah this fix doesn't work for me either. I grabbed the perks, the moment I'm slapped with a pregnancy body, all my naked perks evaporate and I get penalties instead, even with the new esp replacing the old one. I use Mod Organizer.

 

You may just wish to add an MCM with the penalty able to be disabled if it detects his pregnancy mod.

I wonder if you are using the 'stable' version or the unstable version to create this.

 

I don't know what else to do.

 

Edit: I'm going to take a crack at it myself. Where did you change this check-treshold value? I'm not sure how your mod is structured, and it's not like ZaZ where every single thing he added all has zaz at the front. Also I appear to have confused you with the author of THIS mod, Halistrom. Thanks for your help, and sorry for the confusion in the above pronoun grammar.

 

Edit 2: For those of you having trouble with this mod in the same way I am... while I cannot make the pregnancy bodies not remove your perks, I CAN show you a workaround to allow you to use both mods. You'll still get pregnant, but there will be no visual effect. (Animations remain intact, but no big belly).

 

Go into your Mod Configuration Menu and set 'belly size adjustment' for Sexout Pregnancy to -1. This will remove its attempts to plaster the 'pregnant outfit' on your character in the first place. Voila, no outfit, no penalty. It'll do.

You mentioned the mod's author doesn't want a Sexout plugin, but the perks in this mod got me thinking... are sex scanners able to find the player if she is [Hidden] from view?

I know it's been a while since anyone's posted in here, but I still felt like I had to post this:

To anyone who's having difficulties with making this work alongside Sexout Pregnancy, I believe I have a patch which should let the two work together. Use at your own peril, and until the author confirms it's working, consinder it alpha.

 

The user who brought this up to me last reported two remaining issues, which have since then been fixed and working on my end, so in theory it should work without a problem.

 

Must use with both The Naked Gun and Sexout Pregnancy, otherwise bad things happen.

Any issues may be sent directly to me, and I'll look into them.

Changes:

-Conditions checking whether the player is naked now include sexout nude and nude pregnant outfits.

DISCLAIMER: I am not in deep with this mod, so I can't fix every issue there is. I'm just working on the NG/SOP patch.

It seems if I don't take the Nudist perk during character creation, I can't take it at all later when leveling up normally. Surely this is not intended? I used The Naked gun for Fallout 3 and it didn't work like that back there.

Way I can tell, it's supposed to be a character traid like Wild Wasteland or Heavy Handed. Fallout 3 didn't have something like that, so I'm guessing the mod author took the opportunity and made nudism a trait instead of a perk.

In short: I think it was the author's intention to not make it available later on.

That makes sense, but I think it's a silly limitation. I like the idea of having my character go through something that causes her to become nudist later on in the game. Is there a way to add the trait through console command or such?
