bigbob7 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Skyrim folder? Just looked at my install after all the mod additions and was amazed at the size of the game. 41.7 gigs .Just wondering, how many plugins can Skyrim take? Got 233 plugins going and it runs sooooo smooth like butter now. Thanks to everyone one here for all the great work.
DarkNinja13 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 For once, I am actually running fewer mods than somebody else. I am tipping the scales at a dainty 26.5GB with my 128/145 mods - which I believe is in thanks largely to the number of modders who are making liberal use of BSA files when they work their mojo. I know Oblivion could only hang with 255, not sure about Skyrim to be honest
EvilReFlex Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 "Only" 23,7 GB, but I reinstalled the game a month ago.
Camila Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 My whole folder have 128gb D: 32gb of downloads files (MO) so it's actually just 96gb for my actual game
bahamut2119 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 46.5 gb currently and i have a few slots to add mods if i want but rather save e for my screenshot mods i dont keep enabled
Aydoo Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 8 gigs. Mod Organizer keeps it nice and clean. I have some 500+ mods. To answer your question about plugins, skyrim can only support 255 plugins. Including the main skyrim one so minus the 3 main dlc, you can only have extra 251 plugins.
pinky6225 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 32.8 gigs for skyrim in my \steam folder and another 9 gig on my backup HD for my NMM mod folder where i keep everything.
Epic Gamer Frey Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 54.5gb in my MO mods folder. 13.4gb in my Skyrim folder. And and I have over 100gb of mods on a backup thingy.
myuhinny Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 My skyrim folder is a lot smaller then my oblivion folder. *Skyrim* 24.4 GB 27,855 files 1,225 folders *oblivion* 69.3 GB 103,751 files 8,002 folders.
Killing Joke Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Skyrim 65 GB My mods backup 38 GB For both of them I'm surprised, I expected more.
bigbob7 Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 Looks like I have a ways to go still.Just hope the new version of the 2k textures come out soon, think it's gonna be 1.7.Sure that will add more to it.I like to go for the realism effect, just hope one day I can find a nice little simple enb to set it off with.Tried about all of them and I just hate it when my graphic cards are under alot of stress,so I gave up on the enbs.
Cynical Misanthrope Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I don't have Skyrim installed right now, but when I had, I remember the size being 49.2 GB.
BringtheNoise Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 hmmm.... 79.5GB's (to many high end textures and meshes). And I'm currently only running about 120 esp's (did a decent amount of combining inside Tes5edit). Then there is all of the zip files on a second drive and my "test stuff" for all the crap I tinker with (hay that is where Unified resides dumbasss). Anyhow I think Skyrim is currently the biggest drive space consumption program I have on my system (oh wait until you learn how to make shit in Max... then you gonna need a complete new drive). Don't mind me sometimes I talk to myself, it's alright as long as he doesn't answer me though!!!
gvman3670 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 My Skrim folder is under 9 gigs. But my stash of mod archives is 50-some gigs and there is 32 gigs installed in Mod Organizer.
Taskmaster Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 90gb MO folder. But there's plenty of stuff that isn't installed in actual game, as well as backups for textures I customized, which can actually get pretty large in size.
Guest Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 50.8 gb. Reinstalled fresh game today, so it can become bigger.
Kaz Aanh Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 9,19g Becouse I use glorious ModOrganizer. ( 133g of mods )
Captain Cobra Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 27.3Gb, but I'm sure some of that is screenshotz.
afa Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 21.9 gig MO mods folder Some are repeats tho, so probably a little less.
FauxFurry Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 A whopping 4.45 MB, enough to fill a whole 4 high capacity floppy discs near to bursting. It isn't the size of the file that counts but how one applies the data within it. Really,it is at 45.3 Gigs mainly because I removed a bunch of mods in the process of eliminating the latest game breaking bug, mostly clothing and armor sets so it won't really affect stability any.
White Divinity Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 10 inch or so....mod order length i mean , and 25 GB MO folder , and more yet to come =D .
Choppytehbear Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 17 GB Skyrim folder 24.5 GB MO folder 4 GB ini Skyrim folder 45.5 Total hmmm... I am thinking about a re-install...
Forgotten1337 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 hmm.... my recent reinstall must have really helped keep mine fairly low at a surprising 38.8 GB.... though I'm afraid to actually look in my nexus mod manager files sizes... o_o
