It's from Lydia, but this bug works on all followers.

Like the other person i mentioned i said hello sweetie.  either option makes them stuck to you forever, the sex option or the follow option.  i have whatever the singers name in marketh and eric the slayer stuck to me.  i can tell eric the slayer to wait since i made him a follower by hiring him but he eventually pops up no matter where i am.  the singer dude i cant make him do anything he is just stuck to me like glue no matter what.  i can go back to an earlier save to get rid of the singer dude but eric has been with me from like day one.

ok not sure if this is going to be of great help, but i have used the "Hello Sweetie" dialog and had people follow me and by re-using the dialog 

i was able to get them to stop following me (i do have Better Dialogue Controls and did refresh the dialog tree to be able to make them stop).

 

but there is another option (to help with finding out the problem at least):  i am not sure which mod POP Patched or DDEquip has the option in it

to look at a NPCs factions (have not needed it in quite a while now), but if you have a mod (or know the console command to do the same thing)

that lets you look at a NPCs factions, the one that is important is "Current Follower Faction" (faction id is 0005c84e).  if they are in this faction

they will eventually show up wherever you are (whether they are dead or not if their body did not get cleaned up).  if you already tried the dialogue 

option to stop them following you, a check for this faction will tell you if it is the problem at least (and removing a NPC from this faction should

stop them following you at least, but if you use a mod or console command to remove them from this faction make sure to reset the follower count,

this will take the use of the console to lower the number correctly).

No, there is only "hello sweetie" and nothing like thanks or follow

I tryed to remove them from follower faction. Not worked. It's like quest follower, they follow because of quest or something. In sexlab_dialogues there is main controller quest, perhaps it's bugged... i tryed to remove this quest with savecleaner and with console commands - not helped. + Disabling sexlab_dialogues not stop npc's from following me.

i have never seen the thanks for the help option i only ever get can you folllow me or the option to try and sex them up.

In the older version I only saw "thanks for the help" after the latest update it's always "can you follow me?"

 

Also I think this mod is conflicting with Immersive Speechcraft

 

The end result is that, IS dialogue rarely appears, but it may be already fixed in the newest version.

I got the same thing 

 

It was "hey sexy"

"Can you keep me company please?"

Nothing else other than that.

And it increases my speechcraft and the npc becomes a permanent follower. 

 

I will try a dailouge option mod or something

Looking at the code, I can’t see how more than one NPC can be stuck as a temp follower at a time. 

 

Try the latest beta version of Dialogues and see if you see the option to let them go now.

i installed this version and new sanguines debachery, but this not helped.

i created clean save, but it's not helped. There is still "hello sweetie" and it's not changing. And i cannot dismiss follower because of it. I attached two photo, maybe it can help you. 

I don't underestand what it can be.

i will show you. Ok here is screens

first is just dialogue, there is Hello Sweetie that i perssed

second is what inside this dialogue, i pressed to "can you follow me"

third is after this dialogue. there is hello sweetie anyway and none this npc now is cannot be dismissed or killed or disabled!

there is "You idiot" option that i pressed, but it's not changed dialogue anyway! I refreshed it wef times.

And on last screen you can see that "can you follow me" is still there! It's after i asked npc to follow me...

 

now i try to fix it to, with creation kit, but my knowlege of this thing is very small, so maybe you can give me some suggestions?

Aww... no, i found solution of this error, it's because i am on x64 bit system...

Yes! I fixed IT! I Fixed IT! Omg, it's my first skyrim bugfix and first work with Creation Kit... I programmer, not good, but... So, let's get to the point, ok. Everything on screens:

so, thats how it works.

How i fixed it? Watch screen 4, there is were i gouing in Creation Kit.

Then i watched on "Glad i could help" and "Ofcourse, lead the way" this two item and got in there one variable refrence - 

_SLD_tempHirelingRef. I think this refrence controlls npc to follow or to dismiss and controlls dialogue... So we have this variable here, and we need to add this variable in "Ofcourse, lead the way", because it's not in there. I don't know why author not created it in there but... So i just added it(screen 6) with value of 0.0(no follower that means... i think) and saved the mod.

This fixed everythind. I hope it will help you to fix that bug.

Thanks for the update. You can remove that download if you want, I incorporated the fix in the next version which should be out very soon.

A new version of Dialogues is up (3.10) with these changes:

 

- Added: Make state of debug options persist in MCM menu
- Added: MCM option to grant player a spellbook for debug spell 
- Added: Scan of factions to debug spell
- Added: Disable instant follower dialogue if NPC is already a follower 

 

- Fixed: Dialogues to stop instant followers do not display properly 
- Fixed: Instant Follower can't be dismissed 
- Fixed: Dialogue with follower lost during enslavement
