that's a weight paiting problem.

 

It usually happens with high heels models since the the weight paiting doesn't reach it with the automatic function, you need to manually add weighting in those parts.

hmm. i tested the version i had pre packaging and the one i uploaded and didnt have the issue. this seems to happen when bodyparts arent painted correctly, which shouldnt happen since it would happen on my side too.

can you try 2 thing?

1) reinstall mod and rebuild it (and make sure it isnt being overwritten by anything)

2) try opening the boot in outfit studio (open it in the bodyslide studio and click the button next to the outfit's name) and try saving it. if it gives a warning before saving then that would mean that the painted weight got removed.

whew. since i just started making conversion, i thought i screwed up. good to know.

btw, seeing as you make conversion, do you know any tutorial to painting outfits? i've been trying to paint weight on a certain dress but since auto weight doesnt cover all parts of the outfit, i have to manually paint the outfit and.... let's just say i ended up attaching parts of outfit to where it shouldnt be.

It's mostly try and error really, I learned the hard way.

 

There isn't many bodyslide/outfit studio updated guides around and the ones that are don't really explain how to learn weight paiting.

 

Usually the biggest issue with paiting is when the outfit has a part where the auto tool doesn't reach and you have to fix it manually, I recommend to hide the body and work only in the outfit, this way you can fix the issue really quickly by just matching the bones correctly in the "bones tab" then once you fix the issue unhide the body and try again to check if there's some clipping.

 

Well and then once you start doing more conversions you will get the hand of it, like I said most outfits don't require that much but a conversion with a good weight paiting job is much better than one without.

Yeah... I can't shake this problem with the boots. I reinstalled it, did the second step and nothing changed. Thank you so much for your help though.

equip the stuff prefixed with "dd -" found in the esp. i didn't wanna use overrides in case the pack updates. use the 'widen lower' slider if you get butt/skirt clippy and use 'body clippy' slider if you get clipping from the body near the thigh area or the waist area. this is a straightforward conversion, same bone weights as the original(no butt, no belly). really nice work by team tal.

if so then i have the worst luck with outfits by pulling like 3 to 4 outfits that needed manual weighting. btw, does increasing radius for copy bone weight help or is it not advised to use that?

i've no idea what could be causing it. for now i would suggest using some other boots. i'll try to look into it.

Okay, sounds good. I have had this problem with another armor as well. It was happening to the boots as well.
