This is one of those times I hate being in one of the 'canary' occupations, people can't wash their hands (or anything else complicated) to save their own ass.

It may sounds racist but we should leave them and wait until they start to cooperate or will want to help themselves. Leave them to the mother nature. Ebola will kill millions of millions and after this will return to the jungle , where she came from. Just like spanish flu, it managed to spread across the globe, devastating the world. The troll humor wouldn't necessarily be a contradiction as what trolls find funny are usually things that are abhorrent to regular people. Thus more amusement in the disgust/anger of others if they find out. I thought the character was cute myself in terms of design. <3

It started as a game but it's now at least an underground internet trend with people doing real "worshipping" even if they believe it not serious. When you start seeing blood altars and offerings made to Ebola-Chan, you now it's more than just an internet joke, just sayin... Two reflections: After all the shit that happens in the world (Meaning war, idiocy, politics, zealotry, hate, crime etc...) I get the feeling a lot of people really want the world to "end" After all these apocalyptic movies promising the end of human race as we know it, in preparation for a new better world and the awakening of a new era, where humanity is either dead or being the seed of a much better civilization, and still nothing happens yet, people really do want an apocalypse As usual it seems somehow strange that things are happening so easily and nobody gives a crap about it, it's like somebody was pulling strings to make things happen. And I believe it's entirely possible, given the aberrant behaviors people with power can develop. It wouldn't sound very unreasonable to me to think this could be part of a large experiment or measure, perhaps for population control or who knows what other devious machination... (Yes I'm a proud conspiranoid)
