trepleen Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I'm curious which skeleton you guys use and why? If you use another skeleton please tell me why, thank you! I plan on making modifications to existing skeletons, but I want to do so in a way that causes Groovtama the least amount of headache. If you choose 2.06, please take a moment to explain what issues it fixes for you or why you use it, thanks!
ElvinG Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 1.93. I have no intention of using HDT so no need for 2.06.
gooser Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I use 1.93 (X.93ar50) but I am interested in HDT.
Ricocotech Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I stick with 1.93 because there is some weird glitch with height scaling with 2.06 version. For instance, even though my character is shorter than my companion, my companion looks upwards as if I am taller then them. I do use HDT for breast physics, but not for collision. Reason being is that when I enable collision with the HDT object, every once in a while the breasts begin to spas out in place. All in all, 1.93 has been the most stable version at least for my mod setup.
SoundSpark Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 1.93 cause I already had it on my computer and I didn't feel like downloading 2.06.
zeik95 Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 1.93 for it works perfectly fine for my purposes, and none of my other mods require me to update.
kplh Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 1.93 I was considering updating to 2.0+ but I have no clue if this is compatible http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24254-psb-pregnancy-scaling-body-for-bodyslide2/ with it

All in all, 1.93 has been the most stable version at least for my mod setup. What scaling tool, ECE is not optimal for first person scaling, I can/will update the ECE scaling but most of the flaws are because of ECE itself not because of the skeleton. RM should work fine, only problems are engine limitations. That's why I focused on RM and degraded ECE to maintaince support. ECE development is EOL. 1.93 I was considering updating to 2.0+ but I have no clue if this is compatible http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24254-psb-pregnancy-scaling-body-for-bodyslide2/ with it CBBE HDT itself already supports belly scaling that mod is obsolete.
afa Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Still using 1.93 currently Thought about updating it to 2.0+ for a long time...but laziness. And I might need to find body, armor replacer, and hunt for xml files again. Ideally when I upgrade to 2.0+ I would like to learn how to mess around with adding nodes and stuff onto armor since I heard that's possible with bodyslide regardless of body type, and to figure out how to edit hdt xml files with some idea. So yea need to allocate some time for that...but laziness.

Dubhorizon Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Latest! No other reason than the fact that I like having things updated.
TnTTnT Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 2.06 It's the most update and should support HDT better than legacy version.
lidowxxx Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Currently 1.93, tried the latest 2.xx on multiple occasions but sadly it refused to work well with UNP bodyslide TBBP bodies( http://www.loverslab.com/topic/11468-bodyslide-unp-v04-30-sliders/ ) and HDT physics, got stuck breasts very often, the cause may lie within the .xml file that works well with 1.93 but somehow not with 2.xx or perhaps it's the body unp bodyslide tool produced not being friendly with the new skeleton. Since switching to another body isn't an option (I like the body too much) and I am too lazy to troubleshoot the problem through experimenting with different .xml files, I think I will be sticking with 1.93 a while longer.
Starbrow65 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 2.06 because I do use HDT and my customized version of CBBE HDT along with RM and all of these work together nicely.
Skewered Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 2.06 because I am testing out the CITRUS body.
ousnius Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 2.06 because: 1.) I like new things. 2.) It has more fixes and better quality for HDT PE, and I use HDT PE. 3.) More fixes in general. 4.) It doesn't scale any of the body parts in weird ways. When I want something scaled, I will do so myself in RaceMenu. 5.) It's included as a reference skeleton in Outfit Studio.
winny257 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 another, my skeleton is better than HDT, everything moves more realistic. no ugly after swinging the breasts. Unfortunately this is no longer available skeleton, it was removed due to copyright infringement. Please do not ask me, I will not pass it on.

Spyder Arachnid Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 2.06 just cause I like having the latest version of all my mods. Plus I use HDT a lot.
Vykroft Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 2.06 1 - Because I use HDT 2 - Because the author put a lot of effort on it, and a mod with a lot of work and dedication, usually, have a better and more faster response to bugs or problems. I still like the original XMPS, and use it when I need to test something, but I prefer a mod shared and updated more regularly.
crudo Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I'm using the legacy version right now but I just downloaded the latest and may do some tests with it today. I currently use ECE and a UNPB/TBBP body with HDT physics and everything works really well with the legacy skeleton.

Deathbydestiny Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 1.93 as i'm still waiting on CITRUS to be completed and become more supported I have not been able to come across a body that supports 2.06 as of yet without having to do a large amount of forum digging
Vykroft Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Well nobody say "to mod a game is an easy task". I know, is better if we have the information available in the first post, and if the mod is clean and work flawlessly. But come on, great mods aren't made in 24hs, they need testing and feedback, and that usually means time, and ..... headaches.....
