Sexout Intimacy

After searching the internet, I think they are called squatter in the english version

The only mod that adds NPCs to the Wrangler I have is populated casinos, but this mod adds AFAIK only gamblers, and there are no problems with them.- beside this, I did not have any problems with this squatter BEFORE the messages popped up that ( IIRC Herbert ) seems to like her.

So it is PopCasino?  I have squatters in my Wrangler too, and they aren't vanilla, but yeah I haven't had any problems with them.  Granted I haven't had any long term relations with them.

Looked it up.  My squatters come from Gomorrah Redesigned v2.esp.

That load order file doesn't tell me the index, but I'm going to assume it's popcasinos.  Which no, isn't vanilla, but yes, I agree NPCs from popcasinos should work.  If you click on them in the console and type getcurrentaipackage, and they return 0, they're bound to have problems.  If they return 34, it's probably already too late.  Same problem as Lacey.

EDIT: Looks like they have a sandbox, so they should work.  I'll need to go there and test them.

Load order is the export file of Nexus modmanager. It doesn't show the index number, but they are ordered  in the same way.

The squatter has already ai package 34

Sorry I was wrong, the squatters are coming from pop casinos, I am just  already used to them that much. Damn is the Wrangler empty without that mod ...

Edit: would it help to put pop casinos above sexout intimacy?

No I just need to get there in my game and test them.  You can probably do a removescriptpackage on them and they'll return to normal.  As long as you don't hotkey them again.

EDIT: Try the new one.  Might fix it.  Though you'll have to go back before they were added or dismiss them through the manager dialog.

Just finished the "mini-DLC" mod called Zion Trail (Had fun, recommend it) and on the way through found an interesting area to try SOI in, decent NPC population size.

So I started a new game and TP to that area called Rita's Cafe, enabled SOI and added NPCs, have been (role)playing here for 4 hours without issue.

(Yes I understand the testing scope/focus of SOI is vanilla NPCs and issues can arise at no fault of your own on non-vanilla NPCs etc)

My last (Addict RP) character literally died of OD at Aerotech Office Park after doing [Chems] too much. (Shake The Dope Out by Odessa)

Fan of the varied looks/styles/personalities of the NPCs here and reminded me of what Bruce can do better with SOIR and his profile NPCs. Hope that gets updated in future.

Question/Idea:

Does gifting the following give a *hint* *hint* in what your interests/intentions are towards them?

Example if their Lust/Desire is high enough towards the PC they [Positive] or [seek Privacy].

But if they aren't horny or attracted towards the PC they [Negative] or [Thanks?] (basically confused lol).

That area looks pretty nifty.

I'm not really sure what the question is?  How did they respond to the gift?

If the gift is playable, they should keep it.  If it's a favorite, they should respond that it's their favorite (booze/drink/food/chems/clothing).  Otherwise, they should return thanks if it has any value.  Maybe I misunderstand the question?

Also note that there are a lot of items from other mods that still need to be accounted for.

He responded with [Thanks], the idea I shared was that gifting certain items (like a condom) can trigger certain responses.

In my example depending on the SOI NPCs Lust/Desire for the PC gifting a condom is a possible way to tell them you're DTF without saying a word, lol.

Yep.

Yep.

I haven't looked at gifting in quite some time, so forgive me if I seem uniformed about the mod I'm authoring. lol  If it isn't fresh in my mind I tend to become as clueless as everyone else.  Are you saying that is what it does now?  Or are you saying that it should do that (attach a special significance to condoms)?

Also what about sexy clothing items?  Same thing?

I do remember in long past copies that I used to alter stats according to gifts.  But I removed that because I wanted it to be flexible for modders to use instead of explicitly deciding for them the affects of certain gifts.

The idea being that if I explicitly define stat changes according to gifts (hardcoded), the modder doesn't have a choice how gifts affect NPCs.  But as it is now, the modders can define the affects however they want through the applicable dialog.

The mod simply tracks what happens during gifting, sets some variables, and then the modder uses those variables to condition dialog and apply effects accordingly.

EDIT: Right now the mod keeps track of:

- What the gift ref is.

- How many were given.

- Individual item value.

- Total items value.

- What lists the item/s is in (food/booze/drink/chem/clothing/appearance/etc.).

- Playable or not.

- How the gift value compares to the NPCs current wealth.

- Maybe other info I've forgotten.

All of these are applied to dialog variables, which the modder can use to customize their [Thanks] dialog to apply anything they want depending upon any of the above variables.

Also note that clothing is special.  The player has the option to give the NPC their favorite clothing, or wear it.  Wearing their favorite clothing items applies hardcoded stat adjustments.  Giving it to them on the other hand does not (applied through dialog).

Hey T, quick question.

I saw an old (well, March, not so old) post about stalkers offering "recruiting" by approaching the PC and saying "Protection". Does this currently lead anywhere? Is there any framework for pimping currently in?

Yes but I've only tested it once, and it's very basic.  More of a launching point for the future pimp tracking/interactions really.  One of those things I put in just to get my feet wet, but I'm not even sure if it will work the way it does now once I get to fleshing it out.

Just a heads up.  I've been working on finalizing all of the variables and settings.  Once I get this completed the next copy will definitely need a fresh start.

However, what this will mean is:

a. All foreseen changes that require a fresh start will be behind us.  And most importantly...

b. Mods (like SOIR) will be able to push forward once and for all, without the worry of major changes/re-writes.

This is a huge task (I've already started), so it may take me a week or so to get to the next test release.  As you were.

After installing your mod my game doesn't show me the main menu anymore. I reinstalled the mod and double-checked all requirements, and everything seemed to be fine yet it still froze before the main menu. What could be the problem? Where should the files be located in the load order?

Feel free to post your load order.

I also recommend you download the latest FNVEdit, run it and click OK on the Plugin/Master Selection window that pops up.

If all is well with your load order and mods having their required master mods then FNVEdit should not report any missing masters.

Example my load order isn't missing any master mods and gives me the all clear message at the end: gxmpqe.png

You can also check in FOMM what masters a mod requires, in this case SexoutIntimacy.esm requires the following to be loaded before it.

Looks like you're running an old, outdated and obsolete version of Sexout Intimacy from 2014.

These need to be removed:

SexoutDRTL.esm

SexoutDRTLEx.esp

Any change after doing so?

Yes: You're welcome. Now make sure the rest of your Sexout mods (and their requirements) are up to date.

Nope: If I was in your situation I would now try an isolation test by un-ticking/disabling all mods except Sexout related masters and plugins like SOI.

Launch the game and see if the menu loads and then see if you can load a save and get in game successfully.

If all goes well then (maybe) you know isn't a Sexout related mod causing it and rather something else, also try vice versa.

merged.esp: It's also important that you never merge/bashed patch Sexout mods. If you've done so or even accidentally you'll need to resolve this.

I removed the DRTL files and nothing changed. After running FNV just with Sexout mods, I know for sure it's Intimacy that's doing this. And I downloaded the files from the main page - I assume they are up to date? It's this one - -v20160603.05B.

I've completed the variables 3 days after my last post, but have been busy ever since.  I just need to find the time to go through the dialog and apply them.  Shouldn't be too long (hopefully this week).

@Infamy: You probably have leftover junk in your save from the alpha version.  Recommend starting a fresh save.

I moved my saves and the main menu still didn't show. I downloaded files Sexout Intimacy, Data, Music, Options and I have two files - SexoutIntimacy.esm and SOI-Options.esp in the load order (it's also the first time I've installed this mod). I'm also using the latest version of Sexout in case that changes anything.

No clue.  You'll probably have to do what 7Keys said and go through and disable mods one by one until it works to find the culprit.  You might also check to see if your SCR is up to date.

[...]game doesn't show me the main menu anymore[...]

[...]the main menu still didn't show[...]

I've Google searched "no main menu fallout new vegas" and you can see how some may resolved the same issue on some results.

Example post #2 and #3 in this thread.

Or...

Using the handy dandy thread search feature with the term "main menu" I found this post from April 2016.

Decided to give this a spin after a long, long hiatus.

For whatever reason, as long as I load SexoutIntimacy.esm, I get a crash on load (the ol it loads up to the menu screen, but the menu never shows up and the game locks)

Can't see any missing masters, which is usually the culprit. Only happens with Intimacy in my load order. Also installed the associated sound and options files, and I have the latest versions of SexoutNG, NX and NVSE.

Has this ever happened before?

Later on Chancellor was the cause of their own self-suffering - not t3589/Sexout Intimacy.

Turns out it was SCR I hadn't updated it a while. It must have been referencing something that was added in the past year or so. Works now!

As I said previously make sure all your Sexout mods and their requirements are up to date. That includes things like this you may have missed.

Maybe you have just come back to playing FNV after a long absence on your old install and your mods are outdated, I mean you did have an old 2014 version of SOI for example.

And regardless I would start a new game/save after doing so, don't use old saves based on very dated Sexout masters/plugins.

When saving never overwrite a save, ALWAYS save in a new slot. Otherwise you will cause yourself issues and regret later down the track (stuttering, save bloat and other oddities).

Hope that helps. wink.png

Hello!

Some NCR soldiers wich have been added by SOIRepop, are blocking a hotkey.

They run to the PC and trying to start the dialog, but nothing happens, dialogue is not shown and hotkey is blocking until the previous save is loaded.

Debug doesn't show any errors.

Vanilla NPC's are working well.

Please Help.

Sorry for my English.

Upd. Sometimes hotkey is blocking on the vanilla NPC too, but not often (no errors).

I've been this mod for quite some time and really enjoying it.

Made it to work, I'm familliar with appared and adding. Even after some progress I have still little to no idea how affection and lust are calculated and maintained.

Basicly how I played is "small talking" to npc using binded key and exploiting all the meningfull answers untill all I get is also "small talk". Generally this goes untill I start getting "invite to activity' and conversations. What i don't understand is npc's having huge maulus to their stat - like they get -100 lust after one day without any reason. This is persistant and I have to grind it back up.

I'm really missing a FAQ on the first page of how npc are responsive. Do my activities and making out with 1 npc affects other npc even if they are in diffrent city? I'm not talking about the rumors. Should I even bother talking to npc when having still low lvl?

I would really appreciate how you guys kick start new npc relations in soi. Maybe I am doing something stupid or missing something.

Cheers

Hey, long time without posting here.

Reinstalled the game and a few mods. I followed the instructions of the main post and I had this working. More or less.

Is Trudy hardcore-ly excluded? Because I get this working with Sunny and the fem NPC, but Trudy is a no-no (no matter what options I choose, she's always excluded). Conflict maybe? This mod is last in the mod list and the only things that I have installed modifying NPCs are YUP, jsawyer ultimate and NV Redesigned. Any clue?

Thanks!
