MRM18870 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 I just added all the clothes I could find into the clothing list. I've been slowly going through them from time to time and sorting them. I left the pregnant outfits in to temporarily mimic a pregnancy fetish. I'll probably pull more of them out soon, but anything the PC puts on will be added back to the list. So if the PC wears pregnant clothes, there will be pregnant clothing in the list. I don't mind a pregnancy fetish, but shouldn't this fetish include all ( or most ) P2 and P3 clothing? If it is possible, I would treat favorite clothing and pregnancy fetish separately I might be able to add an 'exclude from favorites' setting for apparel at some point. It is possible to save apparel settings, but it would require you mod those clothing items into the appropriate lists. Because the apparel system is based on player choice, there is no way for me to know what clothing you consider x,y,z. Also when it's a fresh game, there's no place for me to save any persistent information from a previous save. I could start hard coding them in, but that would remove player choice. As far as NPC names, I don't have the foggiest idea of how one would go about that. Again, by starting a new game you've taken away the only place for the mod to save persistent information. I thought of an extra file for storing those information, from where SOI can read appearance and names when it starts, but I don't know how easy or complicated this would be. EDIT: Try the new one. Experimental adjustments to apparel favorites. The clothing list in this copy is no longer hard coded with clothing. The list is now self populating from both what the PC and NPCs wear. This might actually work better because the list will now only be populated by clothing that matches the currently installed bodies. The only problem I see is that the first few NPCs added to the system won't acquire any clothing favorites until there are at least 10 items in the list. You can clear the following settings in order to have them acquire new favorite clothing: For me it works quite well so far. Only that someone had "Cass Hat" as favorite is somehow strange ( especially because Cass wasn't in the Wrangler so far )
t3589 Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 Don't know what this is but only seems to happen with NPC interactions. --- Never had this happen and not sure why but the rumor function hasn't worked for me at all regardless of factors such as being covered in spunk or indulging in the open. For the past few days of playing hours straight :fnSOIRumrMill:Rumors: has been lingering in the console so appears something may be wrong(?) hence the report. Note: Tested forcing rumors and that works fine (NX_SetEVFl "SOI:Bhv:Rumor" 1) and after that only then have I got NPCs to actually :DoRumor: to the PC. I couldn't track down the nul ref, but it looks like you're using a previous copy. That last 'attraction' line from behavior eval should read 'attracted' in the latest. So it might have been fixed already. I did find the rumors mistakes and corrected them. Should be fixed in the current copy.

A mod based on this system would manage those things, and remember them. I think that's really what you're missing here, not necessarily features. Your best bet would be to create a mod that does those things. You might be able to add clothing to lists using a batch file. This mod only has three lists to set (SOIFLClothAppearAss, SOIFLClothAppearChest, SOIFLClothAppearLegs). All of the other clothing lists are in SCR. My solution would be to make some of the setup features available before activating the mod. Which I may do (an older copy did this). Then you could set up your clothes and rename all your NPCs before the mod is even started. Save and then start the mod, and you would always have that save setup and ready to go. If you haven't started a new game then all of the clothing added previously that weren't hard coded should still remain in the list. So if you've added an NPC that had the hat on before the change, it would still be there if it wasn't hard coded previously. Funny mention, FCO keeps eyebrows on the nose slot. The result is that Ringo keeps choosing my PCs eyebrows as his favorite clothing. lol EDIT: Okay try the new one. You should be able to access apparel settings prior to mod start now. The renamer still needs work. Edited August 23, 2016 by t3589
Sagebrush61 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 I've run into an oddity in Primm. Started a new game a couple of days ago with the latest version of Intimacy (at that time). As soon as I complete "My Kind of Town" and give Primm a new sheriff I get a repeating message on screen saying "It seems that Johnson Nash wants to talk to you". But he never does, just get that repeating message. I tried introducing myself but it says he is excluded. If I hotkey him it reports in the console that he is talking. Since I added SOIR when I started this playthrough I thought it might be related to that, but when I start a regular dialog with Johnson there aren't any new topics, just the usual vanilla ones. I've tried it both with reprogramming Primm Slim and choosing Sheriff Meyers, same result. I can still interact with other NPC's using the hotkey so his trying to "talk" to me isn't breaking the hotkey. Didn't know if this was an as yet uncompleted feature or a glitch, but thought I'd report it just in case. Today''s update to Intimacy hasn't changed anything, but I haven't gone back in time to before completing My Kind of Town yet to see if the fix to rumors will prevent it.

7KeysCurtain Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 T, I'm curious to know - how are calculations done regarding what the prostitute PC is owing to their Pimp? Did you get hit up for payment finally? Right now it's just a placeholder. I think it's the PC value * number of days absent. It's not at all refined. Thoughts are welcome as how to improve it. I've been making payment for one in-game working week now to James Garret. I work Mondays - Friday 7PM to 3AM. [strip Dance] performance is at 10PM each night. (Timescale 10 with sleep hours between 3-4AM to 9-10AM). Weekends are to allow time to do other things in-game such as hanging out with friends in other locations and to heal (Sexout Wear & Tear). Weekend breaks also allow NPCs and patrons to recuperate their pockets with currency. Monday nights are the best paid night of course with each day earning me less until Friday only the wealthy have any actual currency left over. Since my value/reputation has increased as well as being looked at as a [Opinion: Sex Icon] by many I get good dosh now. Example, Monday: I just earned roughly 400 caps (totaling up all forms of currency such as Legion Coin/NCR/PWC to caps) from the strip dance. And from working the floor another 400 caps by the end of the shift. James asks me to [Pay Up] 800 caps... excuse me!? lol. Hence I had to straight away ask you what I did as before that the payments made sense/fair but the absent days over the weekends and what you said probably explains that. For now to keep my immersion/RP I paid him the 800 but manually took out 400 caps from his inventory and gave them back to myself for a 50/50 fair split. I'm actually saving up/earning experience for a genuine gate pass into the Strip so I can try working at Gomorrah for better dosh and more patrons. --- For ideas you have actually mentioned some that appear interesting to have in the past regarding prostitution. Use the search and re-visit stuff you mentioned. 1. As for now and why only stalkers can become Pimps surely that can be expanded, such as into multiple avenues why a PC might whore, or NPC becoming a Pimp. By choice: As to support a drug & alcohol addiction habit, or to make cash for other things of value, to make a living to stay alive. Or just extra coin. (Such as a Hardcore player might use the dosh earned from whoring to buy clean water & food, or barter drugs/booze as a payment to consume.). The Pimps here take care of their whores to ensure future profitability for both. (Pimp will confront an abusive patron or patron who refuses to pay). Conned: A sexy, high value, high quality, attractive PC in the eyes of a silver tongue and sleazy entrepreneur talk the PC into whoring "Hey girl you've got the looks why not make a living off that? I can help kickstart that for you.", PC might need the caps so what can go wrong? The wrong being it's not exactly fair in regards to being hit up for payment and giving the Pimp majority of what's earned, refusing can result in an aggravated, tempered, dominant/rough Pimp hurting the PC or threatening, from here it can lead into the next if the PC doesn't go with the flow. Forced: Stalkers forces the PC to whore for their own profit, treating the PC like dirt and forcefully hurting the PC if they refuse to pay up. Abusive/Violent. To get out of this the PC would have to either kill the NPC, run away or stand ground and confront the wrong doings though this could result in a worsened situation depending on variables/attitude/personality of that Pimp. Or another strong Pimp that wants the PC to work for them could see this and step in. --- 2. Disguises aside, As it is right now the prostitute PC cannot simply be temporarily "not in service" by choice at any given time or day as to stop NPCs from soliciting the player without the risk of loosing them as a patron or giving them negative variables such as rejection or aggravation. Some days such as my weekend breaks it would be still nice to catch up and hang about without NPCs assuming the PC is open to whore 24/7 regardless of anything and continuing to solicit them. Because even if I un-equip all my work clothes (Prostitute enabled apparel) and wear non-work clothes the Prostitute flag sticks everywhere I go therefor they constantly see the PC as a 24/7 bitch-to-fuck which is not the case and at times is annoying of course. "I'm here to eat and catch a drink, not to suck dick, I work tomorrow so until then fuck off asshole." In simpler terms a way the PC can show/let know when they're open for business or not. --- 3. A way the PC can report abuse from a patron/refused to pay up to the Pimp to deal and confront them. 4. A way the PC can let it be known they're only accepting actual forms of currency as payment aka not accepting food, drinks/booze, chems, ammo etc. 5. A way a Pimp of certain statute... could provide condoms/lube to the PC as to *protect them for long term service and profitability. *(Because let me tell you trying to find condoms/lube at Traders, Followers/NV Medical Clinic to keep up with the work is very rare, atleast for me and the PC might not want to risk STDs or pregnancy or is not willing to fuck without protection as they have a higher pursuit such as working at the Gomorrah in future but can't if they got STDs or is pregnant or messed up etc.) --- 6. A good Friend of the PC mentions [Rumor: Prostitute] to the PC, PC confesses, Friend says [Take This] or [Here] and gives the PC condoms as a way to be looking out for them, they may not agree with what the PC does but respects their choice and as a Friend can help you out in this regard. PC dialog options can be [Thanks], [Affection] etc. --- 7. Not to be confused with 2. As it right now there appears no way the PC can "quit" or step out of prostitution at any point when needed or wanted. The PC might want to leave this part of life behind now (or atleast with a certain group/area of NPCs and move on to perhaps a relationship or other non-whoring things.) A early Lover or great Friend might [Opinion: Should stop whoring] and the PC could [Agree] which to that NPC will remove the Prostitute flag giving chance to recover lost respect/trust with that NPC and open back up chances at becoming partners later on if all goes well. -- 8. Expand and differentiate between working as a licensed whore in establishments such as Wrangler/Gomorrah and street walking solo (without or with a Pimp) This goes back into the discussion of territories, factions. The PC may be approached by a competing Pimp and offered better %'s of earnings or just straight up warn, threaten and scare off, this could of course mean the players Pimp if not a wimpy pussy stepping in, if weak the PC and Pimp withdraw. Establishments being more professional than your street thug Pimp.

I'm actually saving up/earning experience for a genuine gate pass into the Strip so I can try working at Gomorrah for better dosh and more patrons. I've added more tracking to account for this, as well as a catch. The new one keeps track of your turned tricks. Further, the pimp may or may not discover them. This should allow the player to 'hold back' if they can get away with it. Note the consequences of being caught holding back aren't in yet though. For ideas you have actually mentioned some that appear interesting to have in the past regarding prostitution. Use the search and re-visit stuff you mentioned. 1. Or another strong Pimp that wants the PC to work for them could see this and step in. The ideas I mentioned were meant to be translated into functions and tracking. I'm trying to extrapolate functions/tracking from the above, but these sound like scenes a modder would manage. Probably needs more thought. Abuse is in NPC interactions, it just isn't fleshed out yet. The reason I made stalkers the only pimps was to test the function, not necessarily to decree that only stalkers could become pimps. I just didn't want to have to go to Pretty Sarah, or a Floor Manager of some establishment every time I wanted to test. 2. Disguises aside, As it is right now the prostitute PC cannot simply be temporarily "not in service" by choice at any given time or day as to stop NPCs from soliciting the player without the risk of loosing them as a patron or giving them negative variables such as rejection or aggravation. "I'm here to eat and catch a drink, not to suck dick, I work tomorrow so until then fuck off asshole." In simpler terms a way the PC can show/let know when they're open for business or not. I've added a couple of dialog options to address this (sort of). Though it seems to me that going to the same bar you work at, only to tell patrons that you're off duty, is akin to standing on the street corner and telling people you're not working today. In my mind, the player should go somewhere safe to relax and enjoy their time off. A place they are not known. I don't think it's a reasonable expectation for patrons to accept that the merchandise on display is 'not for sale' without consequence. Granted, part of this is due to the opinion system not being completed yet. When it is, opinions will track separately for player identity. Right now it doesn't, and as a result sort of tosses a wrench in the works. 3. A way the PC can report abuse from a patron/refused to pay up to the Pimp to deal and confront them. 4. A way the PC can let it be known they're only accepting actual forms of currency as payment aka not accepting food, drinks/booze, chems, ammo etc. 5. PC dialog options can be [Thanks], [Affection] etc. Abuse tracking is in, it just needs more work. First time patrons often only barter currently which isn't entirely intended for all situations. I agree this needs some sort 'fast track' to cash payment. Though the problem remains of NPCs who simply don't have any cash. But this is only a problem when you first add them, as NPCs are actively involved in the economy according to wealth evaluation. As the game continues, they'll play lotteries, gamble, sell off assets, take odd jobs, etc. All of which happens 'off camera' mind you, but it does happen. In other words, NPCs are extremely likely to get their hands on some cash at some point. Good idea on the condoms. I'll see if I can work in the lubes from Wear n' Tear as well. 7. Not to be confused with 2. As it right now there appears no way the PC can "quit" or step out of prostitution at any point when needed or wanted. The PC might want to leave this part of life behind now (or atleast with a certain group/area of NPCs and move on to perhaps a relationship or other non-whoring things.) Establishments being more professional than your street thug Pimp. I've added a retired response for the next copy. I'm not sure I would place that under opinions. More like 'advice', which isn't a horrible idea, but doesn't really make sense to track outside of a mod. Opinions affect stats. What would advice affect? If you say 'The NPC doesn't want the player to whore', I would say it's already there in the form of negatives derived from the whore opinion. That being said, I think tracking of some sort to the effect that the player 'used to be, but aren't anymore' for positive gains to NPCs that previously saw the PC in a negative light would definitely be a good addition. The player is already approached by competing pimps, just needs more work. There's also already an assessment of 'pimp strength' for lack of a better term.
t3589 Posted August 29, 2016 Author Posted August 29, 2016 (edited) New one up. Lots of corrections. Opinions now track independently of player identity. Still needs work. NPC interactions should be much more accurate now though. EDIT: Added condoms and lubes to both mod start and pimp payment. Edited August 29, 2016 by t3589
Sagebrush61 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Ran into a problem. Courier finally got a date, started at Mojave Outpost, we then did [Nightcap?] and I invited her home to the Lucky 38. Teleported fine, had a drink and then my date disappeared [Headed for Home]. Checked the console and saw the following: SOI ReturnScript: Delayed Error in Script OcOcbc17 Attempting to call a function on a Null Reference or base object File: SexoutIntimacy.esm offset 0x01DF Command: let This continues in the console although the script number changes. Went to sleep and in the morning tried to talk to Cass (who is staying in the Lucky 38, she wasn't my date). Cass cycles but the hotkey gets no response. The console just repeats the error message, I think everything is on hold until the delayed return script can fire. Hope this information is helpful. It was a fun date other than the ending complications.

7KeysCurtain Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 From the changelog, might I ask what "applied atmosphere to player" means exactly?
Sagebrush61 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Ok installed the new version. Fix didn't work retroactively so I went back in time to before my date. Managed to get my Lover to agree to a date, invited her home to Lucky 38. Let her choose activity and she chose [Kiss]. Making out led to sex and upon completion she hopped up, dressed and started glowing purple repeatedly. Checked console: SOIGstEval:VisitStage: 8 SOIQueie:Action! SOIACtion:Talk to: [Player]! SOIDialogEval:TrackerBusy! This sequence keeps repeating over and over and visit stage is stuck at 8. Not sure if date would have ended normally if we hadn't started with sex. Cass walked in right after we finished, don't know if that could have caused things to hang up, she isn't glowing Blue in shock and there isn't any line in the console about decency. PS. Really liked how my lady friend goes from calm to nervous and then came over to compliment me (before I invited her on date). Makes it feel more alive.
7KeysCurtain Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) Sage, while very rare I've had that TrackerBusy stoppage before, you can (maybe) resolve that by initiating normal dialog with that NPC. (Press E not your SOI hotkey). If they're a generic NPC and don't have dialog install SmallerTalk and then try again, it works for me so might for you. I found out about this tip from T from an old post. Edit: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36785-wip-sexout-intimacy/?view=findpost&p=1576880 Edited September 2, 2016 by 7KeysCurtain
t3589 Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 From the changelog, might I ask what "applied atmosphere to player" means exactly? In short, NPCs will now read the atmosphere (tension/comfort) when they're alone with the PC. This should allow NPCs to behave differently when you get them alone (public/private faces). A lot of the recent work I've done should show up in their behaviors now. As I fill in the little details they will start to behave more like individuals, with more quirks and personal nuances. More to come. Ok installed the new version. I'm fairly sure she was supposed to intiate 'afterglow' dialog there. I'll look into it.

It cleared the dialog tracker, but Fannie Mae was still broken (ok, her real name is Caravaneer, but that sounds so generic). Hotkey is still broken, she does cycle, but the Visit is still stuck at Stage 8 and doesn't go down no matter how many cycles she goes through. Thanks for trying though.

I'm going to need a lot more info from just before the invite forward. The visit doesn't progress because she has an action. The problem here is that the tracker was not cleared from a previous conversation. That conversation could have been the NPC in question or another one. Without debug to look at, I can only guess at why that happened. EDIT: Try the new one. I've added more debug to the tracker. Now you should see (ref)SOITrackerQst:Running! when it begins, and (ref)SOITrackerQst:Cleared! when it clears. It's in between these two events that the problem is happening. Dialog is initiated, either by hotkey or NPC approach. At this point the tracker is set to monitor the NPC conducting the dialog. If the NPC in question does not make contact with the target of their dialog, the tracker is not cleared and will be stuck waiting for the NPC to connect with dialog. Entering Menumode 1009 (dialog mode) may clear them, because this is when the tracker sets the NPC to clear. SmallerTalk only helps you get into dialog mode with NPCs that won't enter into it. Sometimes this will work to clear the 'failed' dialog. However, this is in spite of the fact that the dialog should not have failed. And that's the real issue here that we need to address. That is: "Why does an NPC set to (ref)SOITrackerQst:Running! fail to connect with dialog?". Edited September 2, 2016 by t3589
Sagebrush61 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Ok, here is debug.txt. I went back in time, fast travelled to Mojave Outpost. Date happened almost identical to last time, we started with sex (her choice) and ended with exact same result as before. I was lucky, usually when I retry something I can't get them to agree to a date the second time. Hope there is a clue here. debug.txt

Try this one and send me the debug if it goes wrong. If it goes okay it should be fixed. EDIT: The last one might not do it. Made some corrections and re-upped. EDITx2: Uploaded to downloads because of several unrelated corrections. Edited September 2, 2016 by t3589

EDITx2: Uploaded to downloads because of several unrelated corrections. I think that worked. Had to do an activity before she agreed to a date, then went to Lucky 38. Didn't go the same, but we wound up having sex and she talked to the Courier afterwards, no problems. When visit wound down she said [NightCap?], I suggested dancing but she said maybe later and then walked to the elevator and left. I assume that meant date over. I'll attach the debug just in case there is anything useful in there, but I'd call it a successful date. debug.txt
