t3589 Posted February 8, 2017 Author Posted February 8, 2017 Since clothing/armor is such a big part of SOI I was curious if there were any clothing/armor mods the people in this thread would recommend using with SOI. I've got all the requirements for SCR which I know SOI uses, but I was curious if there are any other clothing/armor mods beyond those that would be good. It allows you to set clothing however you like based on your own opinions. So there's no particular clothing mod that is necessarily tied to the system. SCR clothing has the advantage of already being added to certain clothing lists by SCR. This means most of them will already be classified one way or another. You shouldn't need to set them or change them unless you disagree with their classifications. Other than that, I like to use SoL (Spice of Life) clothing personally. I like that it adds a whole slew of clothing all in one shot as opposed to individual clothing mods that only provide one or two items. Others use piecemeal clothing, which you probably have to play with the settings to get them just right. It's really a matter of preference. I had noticed that the SCR clothes were already classified which does make them convenient. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to look into that and see if it fits my tastes. I have one other unrelated question. Is SexoutAssault required for the rape part of this mod? I had SOI running for a while and never had anything happen. I just wanted to check since after reading SOI's description I like the way it handles rape more than SOAssault. SexoutAssault will probably either conflict with this mod, or disable it. I've never tried them together to test it. SOI is really more of a framework than it is a mod. As such, it respects settings like banned cells, notnow, banned NPCs, etc. This allows other mods to disable NPCs in SOI (SOI ignores them).

I was doing some tests regarding what happens when you get caught cheating/whoring by your spouse. ...Upon break up the ex in question suddenly becomes excluded in SOI and all stats/cycles lost. Re-enabling them in SOI results in a complete fresh slate, basically a stranger once again. It happens right after the popup message box saying such & such has left the relationship. Fash45 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Since clothing/armor is such a big part of SOI I was curious if there were any clothing/armor mods the people in this thread would recommend using with SOI. I've got all the requirements for SCR which I know SOI uses, but I was curious if there are any other clothing/armor mods beyond those that would be good. It allows you to set clothing however you like based on your own opinions. So there's no particular clothing mod that is necessarily tied to the system. SCR clothing has the advantage of already being added to certain clothing lists by SCR. This means most of them will already be classified one way or another. You shouldn't need to set them or change them unless you disagree with their classifications. Other than that, I like to use SoL (Spice of Life) clothing personally. I like that it adds a whole slew of clothing all in one shot as opposed to individual clothing mods that only provide one or two items. Others use piecemeal clothing, which you probably have to play with the settings to get them just right. It's really a matter of preference. I had noticed that the SCR clothes were already classified which does make them convenient. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to look into that and see if it fits my tastes. I have one other unrelated question. Is SexoutAssault required for the rape part of this mod? I had SOI running for a while and never had anything happen. I just wanted to check since after reading SOI's description I like the way it handles rape more than SOAssault. SexoutAssault will probably either conflict with this mod, or disable it. I've never tried them together to test it. SOI is really more of a framework than it is a mod. As such, it respects settings like banned cells, notnow, banned NPCs, etc. This allows other mods to disable NPCs in SOI (SOI ignores them). Okay. Thanks for answering all my questions. It's rare but sometimes I'll see "Player Attention" like such but I'm not sure what triggers or causes it for sure or what it does.

Quit is the meter for the desire to leave the relationship. Player attention means the NPC doesn't like the player paying attention/talking to the other NPC, I think. EDIT: Quick status update. Got everything working on a brand new rig, then the drive went belly up. Lost all my save games but managed to recover all my mod files. Just finished getting everything going again. It will probably take me a couple weeks to catch up on work before I have time to get back to playing. Can't wait because the game runs AMAZINGLY on this new system. Stay tuned. I've had to continue to avoid certain NPCs I'm in a relationship with (that want to Quit it) so that they don't get excluded and lose stats. Besides that, there's a few other bugs I've encountered but waiting for them to happen again now that I've turned debug on. 1. Multiple Dates - In my case 2 NPCs asked me to date and I accepted both to meet at PC home. Upon date time I successfully get 2 knocks at the PC home door and clicked to allow both to enter, how ever only 1 will enter and show inside PC home and the other NPC not, however via prid and moveto player I can TP the second NPC inside and start both dates fine manually, neither will approach the PC and ask [Date Now?] as they usually do in single dates. 2. The "Just Kidding" Proposition - When an NPC (who is a prostitute) desire for the PC peaks they will ask the PC [Proposition], after which no further dialog or dialog choices show to accept or deny, it just zooms out and nothing happens. I don't think I've had this happen for [solicitation] maybe it only affects [Proposition]? This doesn't always happen as *sometimes [Proposition] works fine. 3. *Free Service - Very rare and not sure at all what causes it but sometimes when an NPC (who is a prostitute) asks the PC [Proposition] and the PC accepts to negotiate the cost they will charge is "-1" and they will accept that.

Buried in work atm. Nothing special really. Went from an old Q6600 to the new 7700K on a Z270 board. Still needs a better video card (using my old one). Right I've added it all to my notes. Can you put in slightly more detailed text than one word sentences? It would certainly make it way easier to know what's going on, and therefore make easier for people to actually write dialogue. The main issue IMO is the "positive reaction" and "negative reaction" responses are way too vague; did they respond badly because they're not in the mood? Do they feel they don't know me well enough? Are they offended? Are they upset? Are they annoyed? Without knowing these things it's impossible to know what you did right and what you did wrong.As it is, you could just have it be a 1 for positive reaction and a 0 for negative reaction and it would be equally informative.Also, on another note, maybe introduce an option to reduce the amount of several minute idling the NPCs do during activities.Thanks for reading.

t3589 Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 I'm still around. Just been super busy working 48 hour days. Starting to slow down a bit now. I'm going to try and get back into it over the weekend. There probably won't be any updates immediately. It will probably take me a couple weeks to catch up. Having my head filled with proprietary code for the last few months doesn't help. I plan on re-writing a bunch of stuff, so there may be a forked version in the near future. We'll get there. Stay tuned.

When I play other games I keep wishing there was a version of Sexout Intimacy for that game. Too bad there isn't a magic program which converts mods to another game with the push of a button

The hotkey wont work if the NPC is in some animations and Trudy tends to swap rapidly between polishing glasses and leaning on the bar animations. If you wait patiently, sooner or later she will just stand there for a while and then you can hotkey her. Or wait until 8:00 pm when she leaves her job, you can key her while she's walking or standing out on the porch of the Prospector.

The only solution I can offer then is to revert to a save game from before it stopped working. The only time I've encountered something like that was in Mojave Outpost. The second time I talked to Ranger Ghost the hotkey didn't work. Once that starts it doesn't seem to work for anyone and the only solution I found was to go back to a savegame before it happened. Not sure what causes it because it doesn't happen every game but once it starts I haven't found a way to get the hotkey working again.

Like the damn Hills Have Eyes movie or something out there in the Mojave. Oh and he kissed his mother afterwards, seemingly satisfied with his debauchery, before meandering off into the sunset. 10/10 mod though, even for a WIP. Deeply amusing when it goes horribly wrong in all the funny/worst possible ways. PC ended up joining the Fiends and ODing. Couldn't come back from THAT trauma. I don't know what voodoo magic formula your mod uses to calculate these things, but you've definitely made one heck of an amazing mod.

Now the hotkey doesn't work at all, even if I remap it This has been an outstanding problem for a long time. When this happens you should enable the scanner debug. If there is no output, it means the mod has been stopped. I've narrowed it down to the following possible causes, but I am still just guessing because I haven't found any concrete evidence to date. - Your rig or the game itself has reached it's limitations. Did you have 'all' enabled in the add manager? If so, note that this is and always has been unsupported. If you enable 'all' and things go wrong, you're on your own for now. You could try to mitigate this by limiting your game session length. Save and restart more often. Don't play for X hours straight without reloading the game. - Something is deliberately turning this mod off via 'stopquest'. My experience with this bug was in part due to the mod quests being outright stopped (if there's no scan debug, the mod isn't running). Probably just the vanilla game stopping quests because it has run out of resources. - Some timing issue related to hitting the hotkey at exactly precisely the wrong time, under exactly precisely the wrong conditions. No clue on this one. Could be this, but I've worked this angle to death. To date I have zero reports on how to reliably reproduce this, and haven't been able to do so myself with any accuracy. Perhaps in this new one I'm working on now, the problem will reveal itself. Until then, the best course of action I can recommend is to treat this mod with kid gloves when it comes to enabling features (when possible, disable what you don't need).

At least I know I disabled some of them. How did he get added in your case? Did you have 'all' enabled in the add manager? I've never used NMM, so I don't really know how to help with these kind of problems.

At one point, I used SexoutAssault, but I uninstalled it and started a new game to use your mod. Looks like there might have been something left over from it, in my game files, and somehow, they managed to show up in game. Not sure how, but after doing a full data clean up, it never happened again. I don't have the add all thing, enabled. Looks like it was just a random fluke, since I haven't been able to replicate it. Funny as hell though, when it happened.
