Love that preset. Looks like a very serious mature lady. I may try this one out a bit. I'll send you a screenshot if I do.

Bear in mind, this is a heavily modified version on another preset I found awhile ago. Unfortunately, I can't remember were I found it or who the original maker was. So, if you know, feel free to tell me so I can give credit.

That being said, I always get annoyed when someone share pics of their character and doesn't post a preset somewhere. In the interest of not being a hypocrite, I'm sharing mine.

To get this look I'm using Mature Skin, Sporty Sexy Sweat (though, I don't normally use that.. it was just for this shoot) and Better Makeup for SKSE, both available on the nexus.

KS Hairs. IIRC, I had to google to find that.

UUNP basic UNPB preset and Dragon Song, both available here on LL.

I am using K ENB.

Feel free to do whatever you like to her, additionally feel free to send me pics or links to any screenshots or scenes you may make with her. I like looking other peoples' ideas and stories.

I've tried using this character preset on my game and it half works. I can get the face to work pretty much the exact same. However the body never works, its always a different shade of blue and theres the whole neck seam issue with it. I even did a fresh install of Skyrim to fix various issues and tested this body out and yet again same issue when using the mods required here. Unless Dark Elf (Dunmer Race) is actually a mod and not just the race selection I'm at a loss.
Of course there are some mods required to use some of the mods in this list that I also have. As for body texture mods this is what I have.
SG Female Textures Renewal (sg elven race patch one)
XP32 Maximum Skeleton

Real Girls Realistic Body
Dimonized UNP female body v1dot2 (needed to run sg female textures)

Perhaps I need a different unp body? I thought Dimonized was the only one though.

Figured before I go and delete my character and start making another one (cause it's going to happen lol), I'd share the preset in case anyone wanted to play with it. So here is my new Dark Elf.

i dont think i can help with most of that, but this tool might help with your neck seam issue, it fixed mine using the SG textures.

open the nifs, if in nitrishape have normals is set to yet, put it to no

if have vertex color is set to no, put it to yes

and make a nif with all parts to check your textures

easy to see if the textures don't match like that

I tried the UNP texture blender and that didn't seem to fix this problem.

As for opening the nifs. I haven't really used nifskope that much. I can open the files there fine, but I have no idea what I'm meant to do, what file I'm specifically meant to open or how I would even change vetex colors.

I'm beginning to think there's some other reason why the body colour is not loading.

I loaded a different preset with other mods with worked fine, then went back to dark elf and found the seams were fixed but the colour wasnt right!
So I checked the exact colour numbers are redid the colours and now it works.

I don't know which of my new mods did this fix but I'm thinking the skin colour being weird was something else acting up.

Perhaps the preset is trying to load some body texture which doesn't exist. The face textures are there though.

So basically I've just gone through as many sliders as possible making them the same as the preset and the end result looks pretty much identical, no neck seam issue and no different colours. Although there were some sliders I couldn't find it looks the same to me regardless.

i used the preset and it happened to me. theres a tattoo in the preset that i didnt have. just set all paints and tattoos to default

tho, if you have racemenu, try the top one, Shyvana. when i loaded that one, it came out real nice. its the only one that ever has, others always seem to get F'd up. tho that could eb from differences in the racemenu used to make them.

Check the bodypaints...

Been awhile since I checked this thread, but yeah like Vintovka said, it's a body overlay. I think I had a tattoo or something there (might be tan lines), so if you don't have that mod, it will just show up blank (or brightly colored in your case). Just go into your body overlay section and set them to default to remove it. It's an overlay issue is all.

the problem with pajimans presets and most of the ones here now is that, the version of racemenu fucks them up. i think ece is the only other alternative that doesnt do that. race menu is good though

Guys,

the only things you need are: the same version of RaceMenu and head sculpt, which is not always provided by creator...

In most cases (if you have all required mods installed) only lack of sculpt causes the problem.

Hey paji your presets are great however, could you actually export the head using skulpt? then everyone could get it to work 100% and enjoy your beautiful characters.

Wow I'm amazed she looks so good on your rig, to be honest it was a hurried test I made on Racemenu Beta, when sculpting was first introduced. I thought her face was way too flat, did you notice that too ? Also her nose has been smoothed too much, if you try to look at her from the sides you realize her nose is actually a shark's fin ahaha, thank god the normal map hides that shit...

She does not have a name. My favorite name is Nichole but I do not think she looks like a Nichole. I tried to go for a natural, "not trying too hard" look.

I don't have much experience in making characters, but I think my character looks good.

The first picture is a High Elf version of my preset, and the second one is a Nord version of my preset. I'm having trouble deciding which one looks better.

Also, here's the mod list:

KS Hairdos Renewal (Not sure what the hair I'm using comes from. It's either of those two.)

Fine Face Textures For Men

Etherial Elven Overhaul, though I'm using a High Elf version of my own Nord preset so I don't know if it has an effect. Also, the male textures are probably overwritten by Fine Face Textures for Men.

I believe that's all of my appearance mods.

The .zip has .jslots for both the High Elf and Nord version.
