There probably are some restrictions just like there are restrictions on new members not being able to post screenshots and links til after they have made so many posts there is also a limit on how much stuff you can download within a certain time frame to keep the server costs at bay it's just that most people just never encounter it.

Most likely, i had the same thought. I am rather new to this forum and haven't even figured out how to edit my profile to display my sex and age. Figured it might have something to do with that, clicking a button verifying your age.

I'm having the same issue but I have been  downloading form this site for several months, however for the past month and 1/2 I took a break from Skyrim so no further downloading was done I come back only to find out clicking the download button does nothing.

Since did register yesterday I can help with this, about your profile you have to post like 10 times before being able to change your profile ( i could change my picture a bit earlier). So may be since you've got a "fresh" account you do have few problems with it.

There should be a rule of 10 constructive posts instead of 10 random posts just to unlock stuff.

Because these people post the minimum and disappear to the "lurker" corner.  It's not the first forum i see something like this and probably not the last.

I'll try to make sure my posts blow your mind. *scratches head* Uhh... so, when you have 10 posts you can download? Guess i'll go test it out and report back here.

10 posts and i still can't seem to download. could one of you with 10+ posts write back if DLing actually works for you?

Okay so I took the time to make a 10 posts took me a couple of hours actually... Yet, I STILL cannot download anything....Why? What am I doing wrong?

There is a download cap to keep server costs at bay. The cap has a 24 hr cooldown, so after this period you should be able to download normally again until you reach the cap. I don't know the the size of the cap, so I can't tell you how much it is.

There are no post requirements for downloads. The post requirement is only for profile customization and the ability to post links.

I am having the same problem. The only difference is that I relocated about 2 months ago. When I accessed loverslab through college dorm, I am able to download. But when I returned home for summer break, I realized that I can't download anything. Are there bandwidth limitations or something?

"The download button doesn't work" doesn't help me figure out the problem, need more info than that.

  • Do you mean you can't actually click the big green "Download" button in the top right of the download page as if it wasn't even a button to begin with? If so have you tried using a different browser or disabling any site altering browser plugins such as various types of blockers?
  • Do you mean you click it and it gives you a warning about the file not existing, you don't have permission, have another running download, exceeded bandwidth, or any other sort of error? If so what error?
  • Do you mean something else entirely?

When I hover over the green download button the cursor changes to the pointing hand icon like it should but when i click on it nothing happens, not a loading screen not a buffering sign on the tab, nothing. No changes I stay on the same page, there's no loading of the files page. I tried disabling pop-up blockers and it did nothing, I've used google chrome from the get-go and I've never had this problem before.

Aye, sums it up pretty well. I can add that the small green box containing download, aswell as the larger box surrounding it with description etc is all the same. The hand comes out when you hover over it, but you can't click it. If you right click it, it treats the entire box as if it was a picture.
