OBLIVION: install game, tools, bodies,BBB, Load order sorting, esp/esm cleaning, CS-CSE, Body stretching

Got it, thank you for the explanation on cse. Yes, I want to keep using OCO for all the races. The only part of OCO I'm not using currently is the body textures for female imperials that I have overwritten with the body textures without pubic hair from Seam Remover in my mod manager, because I prefer no pubic hair and like to play dark elf which also use the imperial textures I'm pretty sure. Other than redguards the races that use the imperial textures look fine and don't really have neck seams, and I'm just letting the races that use the orc textures keep using the ones from OCO with pubic hair because they get really noticeable neck seams with Seam Remover's textures.

Okay, so I'd make the file path Data\meshes\Characters\BodyAssetOverrides\PerNPC\oblivion.esm and put the nif files for the body I want my character to use in there, then rename them with '00000007_' in front of the file name and no 'female', that makes sense. What if the body I want to use comes with more than just the body nif files? This is the body I want to use for just my character:
https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/39717-cute-femboy-body-hgec-bbb

Should I just do the Blockhead override for the body nif files and install the rest manually or as an OMOD without the body nif files so it doesn't change all females npcs?

Posted

You should add a 4 body files in the ...\BodyAssetOverrides\PerNPC\oblivion.esm   folder. Hand foot, upper and lower body.

The FemBoy Mod only have upper and lower.  Your player will use female foot and Hand from the  meshes\characters\_male  folder  .  If it is a normal HGEC  body it will fit. But if it is a DM, DMRA body it will not fit.

So best you put same matching hand and foot nif in the  \PerNPC\oblivion.esm   folder.

Yes now your player will use with all races you paly the overwrite body.

Problem with LAPF; you have no lowerbody with a real dick. For most sex animatios the dick from the FemBoy Mod folder meshes\Femboy is so small that all sex animations will look like air humping.  But if you don't want to fuck and only get fucked, it is fine.

If you want to be the active part during sex you use the FemBoy nif femalelowerbodyerect.nif and femalelowerbodyprecum.nif as LAPF lowerbody during Sex.

See my Futa only Instructions.

You copy  from data\Meshes\clothes\as\1\f  the labelf.ini  in the folder data\Meshes\clothes\as\7\f ( you create the 7\f folder . Or folder 8 or 9 )
You copy the femalelowerbodyerect.nif and femalelowerbodyprecum.nif  in the as\7\f  folder.

femalelowerbodyerect.nif  you need 3 times and rename the 3  nif to femaleDildo, HugeAnimFuta and NormalAnimFuta

And femalelowerbodyprecum.nif  copies you use for HugelimpFuta.nif and HugesemilimpFuta.nif

The  labelf.ini  you open and  change the text   to :   set xLoversPkrQuest.TmpStr to sv_Construct "FemBoy"

In gane you use the Lovers setting spell and choose the FemBoy body for the player during sex.

If you don't need  equippable lowerbodies with Semi-erect and erect  in the two shops you do not install any files from the Mod, you have all you need. Your nue Body and erect penis during sex.

If you want the equippable lowerbodies :

In the femboy Mod you delete the meshes\charcters folder and textures\characters folder so no meshes and textures will be overwritten. ( your femBoy will use the textures you have)

Then you can create a Mod or install manually.

The esp is dirty and not english or german.  Best use TES4Edit. But should be possible with CS too.

femboyesp.jpg

You delete the empty entry in the cell and you rename the two shops

--------------------

Darkelf use  darkelf textures in vanilla Oblivion and OCO.

----------------

You want a redguard instruction for the OCO esp how to make  own redguard textues (body and head) ?

Not know, I'm too tired. Have to check the OCO esp, make some pictures....  Or I change the esp and upload.

Posted (edited)

Thank you for the specific and detailed explanation, that was really helpful! I got the FemBoy body working for just my character and I got the erect lowerbody working for sex as well, though yeah I'm mostly planning on being the one getting fucked with this character. I also installed TES4Edit to make sure I did the edits in the mod the same as you did, and that works as well, but with Setbody I'm pretty sure I don't need those equippables anyway (and it's strange, they're in Divine Elegance as actual items to pick up, not items to buy from the merchant's inventory). But yeah, that works great, so thank you again for that explanation!

Oh yeah, my bad, I forgot that I actually changed the dark elf files individually as well. Dark elves look fine with Seam Remover's textures though.

Yes please, whenever you have the energy and the time, I don't want to rush you :)
Just to be clear on what my goal is and give context:
Redguards can keep using the OCO head, and I actually want redguards to use the OCO body textures as well. I just want them to do that separately from imperials and the rest of the races that use imperial textures, because I want all the races that use imperial textures to use the Seam Remover body textures, except for redguards. All the races can keep OCO heads, and I have the Seam Remover body textures overwriting OCO's in TESMM.

OK I changed the OCO esp , was too complicated to explain everything.  I hope you use the english OCO version.  ( if not upload the version you use )

If you want so see what I have changed rename the original OCO esp and install my esp and open both with TES4Edit and check the redguard race. I only changed some textures paths. (Mouth, teeth and eyes are still imperial)

Now redguard use own body and head textures. You can replace all files in the redguard folder without changing any other race

Default are the original OCO files in the folder the OCO redguards used. Imperila OCO body and own head and ear textures ( which are 100% copies of the Imperial OCO textures )

See readme and a picture which explains everything you need to know.

Oh sweet, thank you so much! Yes, I use the english version, and I just tested it out and it works perfectly, I can give redguards their own textures and it doesn't affect any other races. I didn't install my OCO manually, so I actually just uninstalled my original OCO and made a new OMOD with your esp, then made the female and male folders in the redguard folder like you had and put the textures in there, and that worked fine, definitely a much less noticeable neck seam. I really, really appreciate you spending the time and effort to do this for me and even give me instructions with pictures and everything, along with everything else you've helped me with! You're really awesome, I definitely wouldn't have been able to figure all this out on my own! :)

I feel bad asking for more help, but I just have one last issue I've been trying to figure out by myself and I can't make sense of it, and you seem really knowledgeable about cs/cse and TES4Edit. After I installed cse, one thing I did was take the enchanted club from Player Slave Encounters away from bandit highwaymen and anyone else not specifically from that mod, and while I was doing that I decided I wanted to make the bandit highwaymen female dark elves instead of male khajit. So I went individually into playerslaveencounters.esp, LoverPayBandit.esp, and pse-paybandit-patch.esp, and I changed all four versions and the template to female, generated new faces and gave them new hair/eyes, gave them the human skeleton instead of the beast skeleton, and I made sure all four versions and the template have the banditROBBER script in all the esps. This mostly worked, they show up as female dark elves in game, and they always run up to me and pull me into a conversation like normal, but most of the time they don't actually do the highwayman dialogue, they just act like I'm the one that went up and talked to them and like they're a normal npc. Sometimes they actually do the highwayman dialogue though (I'm not sure why they do or don't), and when they do it works fine, I have sex with them normally and it counts as paying them the gold. After sex though, they run back to their spot, then run back up to me to talk to me again with no highwayman dialogue, then they just hang out. Is it maybe just a bad idea to mess with the bandit highwaymen when I'm using these mods? I'd like them to be female, but if you think messing with them is a bad idea, I'll follow your advice. If you can help me figure this out that would be amazing, but I feel like I've been bombarding you with questions and requests, so if you feel like I've been asking too much and you just want to do your own thing, I totally get that. Either way, you've been super awesome, and I really appreciate all the help!

The vanilla highwaymen:

All dialogues are part of quests.

GenericKhajiit [QUST:00062BAD]

Conditions

GetPlayerInSEWorld  Pllayer not in Shivering isle

GetIsPlayableRace  the NPC is a playable race

GetIsRace Khajiit

So you see/hear the dialogues only from a Khajiit (right race and it is playable) if you are not in SI

And the dialogues have conditions:

NPC is in Bandit Faction or MarauderFaction

GetGlobalValue  HighwaymanGotMoney == 0   If he get Money or sex is it set to 1 so he don't talk to you again for some time.

So the game frist check the quest contitions , then the dialogue conditions  if and what a  NPC can say.

Even in mods the Highwayman are always khajiit.

I don't know why Bethesda connected the Highwayman so closely with the Khajiit.

And of course there are only Khajiit voise files ( and male) for the Highwayman, because no other race use the dialogues. ( ! Khajiit race  use Argonian voice files )

You can change the GenericKhajiit [QUST:00062BAD] conditions and use male Argonian if you want voice.

If subtitles are OK for you you can also use women and other races

Problem is, if you remove the Khajiit in the quest conditions, only Bandit and Marouder faction remains from the dialogue conditions.

And if you talk to a non-aggressive bandit in a mod he might want money instead of greeting you normally.  Depends on the quest priority. default Greeting are from Quests with priority 5, and the GenericKhajiit quest  is priority 6. So GenericKhajiit quest are used first. Most real quests and Mod quest have higher priority ... But if the NPC should use a normal greeting and then you can click the quest dialogue option you first have to do the "Give money" Highwayman shit ( without killing him/her)  and then talk to him again to click the quest dialogue option.

-----------------

I have removed the Khajiit from the GenericKhajiit  quest. And I have a very hight infamy so that sometimes Bandits so that sometimes bandits do not attack me.  But when I talk to them every second one wants money from me (or sex)

I "fixed " it  by adding  condition IsInInterior == 0  to the GenericKhajiit  quest. Now only Bandits that are in the world space ( not in caves and ruins)  are so keen on my money..

And it was a few years ago when I did that, and I still have no other races as Highwaymen, there were other problems.  But I don't remember which.

---------------------

Or the short answer: Too much effort and work to use other races. Stay away from Highwaymen.

....................

EDIT

Sometimes Highwaymen don't want gold,  see

Ohh okay, got it, thank you for the explanation! That is weird that the Highwaymen are specifically tied to Khajit. Is it a relatively simple thing to do in cse or TES4Edit to do what you did and remove the GetIsRace Khajit condition and add the IsInInterior == 0, or maybe even change GetIsRace Khajit to GetIsRace Darkelf since I know that's what I want? Or if you think that would be too complicated, could I maybe just change the Highwaymen back to Khajit but leave them female, since then they would meet the quest requirements for the dialogue? Otherwise, yeah I'll just change them fully back to how they were before and leave them that way.

Posted

Female should work, I don't think there was a " GetIsSex == male" condition in vanilla or "Lovers pay Bandits"

And all races works but not with voice , only subtitles.

I think my problem was that other bandits use the Highwaymen dialogues.  Not the script or the AI packs, Only if you talk to them. And this is almost impossible, but I have 100 infamy more than fame. If you have more fame Bandits will always attack you and you don't have the problem.

Good that you managed it.

That was actually someone else thanking you for your guide, their name just happened to start with N too lol. What you said before actually does mostly make sense to me though, I'll definitely try it if you think it will work for me too. I'm just not sure where to find the GenericKhajit quest or the script for it to edit it, I looked in cse and found other quest scripts starting with Generic but not GenericKhajit, and I'm not sure how to find things in TES4Edit yet unless I can open an esp file with whatever I'm looking for and it will just show it to me. I should be able to follow the rest of what you said once I know how to find it.

You have the ID

GenericKhajiit [QUST:00062BAD]   the quest does not have a script !

Quest have conditions like dialogs

GetPlayerInSEWorld = 0

GetIsPlayableRace = 1

GetIsRace = Khajiit "Khajiit" [RACE:000223C7]

I delete the GetIsRace and add

IsInInterior = 0  So only Bandits that are not in Interior cell can use the dialoges that are connected to the Quest

I use Lovers Pay bandits esp

First the game checks the Quest conditions

1quest.jpg

Then the game checks the dialoge conditions.   Example

1Dialoge.jpg

The NPC can only use the dialogue if the quest and dialogue conditions are correct.

The highwayman NPCs have scripts BanditRobberSCRIPT [SCPT:000A3496]

Nothing to change in that script

Got it, that worked, thank you! I used Loverspaybandit.esp as well, and since TES4Edit was nice enough to give a dropdown menu of all the races, I was able to add GetIsRace Dark Elf as a condition along with IsInInterior == 0. Highwayman dialogue works correctly now.

Thank you so much for your guide and for the time and effort you spent helping me with all my problems, and for your patience with all of my questions! You've been super helpful, and I wouldn't have been able to get everything working without you!  :)💜

Hello to everyone and sorry for my English.
I want to thank you @fejeena for this solid GOLD guide. You helped me a lot to set up my first Oblivion with plenty of mods.

But... I have a problem if someone can help me.

I have a tone difference between hand, body, feet and head of females, and I don't know if there is somethig I can do or is normal in Oblivion.
This mismatch is a lot visibile on some lithing and don't know what else can I do. I tried different textures and meshes for HGEC (without resolution of the problem). I pay close attention to proprieties of nifs with Nifskope and they share the same values. This problem don't appear for males (for man I use Robert Males + Oco). For females I use HGEC + High Rez + Seam reducer (all listed in the guide).
The tone mismatch like I said is visible sometimes on some lighting...

Anyway I thank you a lot for all the effort to make this splendid guide. Without your guidance and your messages that I found around the forum I probably wouldn't have been able to get this far.

This is the less visible situation but I put this image only to make an idea... very often it is noticeable in a portion of the body depending on my position and that of the light/shadow.

ScreenShot0.png.c87c2a1bb542c79c3db97cd722478a23.png

While this second pic is the normal situation with the sun.

ScreenShot1.png.4f3e17d93678ba9fbb31b96b4ae7f5c9.png

This affect also the naked bodies of female...

Posted

The head-body seam is normal.  Even with very similar colors of head and body, the seam can be seen in certain lighting.

There are a lot of seam reducers available at Nexus.

If you use OCO2

https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45859?tab=description

with or without

https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49406

Without OCO2

https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45858

I never used any seamless/reducer Mod.  Only the https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/19738?tab=description

The the 3 egt files in the mehses folder. I don't use the TEXTURES_OPTIONAL  folder.      You can use any HGEC textures you want

And older NPCs often have more visible head-body seams.   This is caused by the Age-Maps.  (Thats why the Seamless Mods and OCO2 have Age-Maps replacer )

As I said, I'm only using the 3 egt files and head and body textures with identical color at the neck.

------------------------

!!!  And   !!!

In the Oblivion settings turn off Self-Shadowing.

And in the Oblivion ini  set bFaceGenTexturing=1

 -------------------------

The hand seam is not normal.  This seam is usually never visible.

Have you checked the textures?

Roberts male have one texture for upper and lower body and hand and feet. Thats why you have no seams (Except sometimes at the shoulders)

HGEC have feet, upper and lowerbody in one texture and a  Hand texture.  There are HGEC body texture repalcer without hand texture. And if you use hand textures from another mods or vanilla, there may be a visible seam. So check the texture if the  body and hand color is the same.

And check your female nif files. The body color and gloss settings must be the same.

People prefer different color and gloss settings.   It is important that all 4 body parts and the head (and ear) have the same settings.

If you're unsure which settings to use, simply open your female upper body nif and use those color and gloss settings for all other nifs.

seam.jpg

All 4 color setting and the gloss  should be the same in all nif files.

1) Thank you very much @fejeena for your explanation and willingness to help 😊.
Unfortunately, I followed your instructions to the letter, but I still find myself in this situation.

I tried again more intelligently by starting with a fresh copy of Oblivion without any mods (I only activated the DLCs, and I deleted all non-vanilla BSAs and removed any meshes/textures folders from the Data directory — don’t worry, after hours of work I have backups, so I didn’t break anything).
I kept my oblivion.ini with the setting you suggested and all the entries exactly as in your guide.

Already in the first screenshot using the vanilla game, this issue with the hands and feet (and also the head, which as we said is really hard to fix) is very noticeable.

By installing only HGEC H cup + LL and the textures from the package, the situation improves but doesn’t actually change. Then, installing only the “egt” meshes from Seam Reducer, the situation — although slightly better — still doesn’t really change.

All the situations are shown in the spoiler below…

Vanilla (no mods) below:

vanillaseams.jpg.16afd811fddd3b7635ee48032d09de10.jpg

HGEC body mod + textures of the same mod - below:

hgecseams.jpg.b862479e38197c832232c6082da436b0.jpg

HGEC mod + Seam reducer of Luchaires (only meshes no texture), below:

HGECplusseamreducerseam.jpg.5b86d106fef1aeca5281f95311c3b494.jpg

I had already tried the method you explained with Nifskope, but thank you anyway because it might be useful to someone else who has the same problem.

I’m pretty sure the textures are the problem. In my tests, OCOv2 + patches completely removed the issue, but its setup is quite confusing, and the head seam becomes extremely noticeable—worse than vanilla. On top of that, OCO feels too heavy for my aging PC. I’d rather use a lighter alternative, ideally 2K, to keep things detailed but consistent. Otherwise, at that point, I might as well switch to 4K textures and overhaul the entire game 😢.

I’ve also noticed on some images online the same situation with hands and head that I’m experiencing. I don’t really know — it feels strange to me too that there’s such a tonal difference between the hands and the body. Would you happen to have any other suggestions, please? Maybe I’ve missed something obvious or I simply have no idea…

3) And I’d like to ask you, sorry, because I imagine I’m throwing too many questions at you at once, in your opinion does the Unofficial Patch make sense to use? Does it help the game run more efficiently? Or is it something that, unlike Skyrim, can be safely skipped?

Your Load order is OK, It has no effect on bodies and textures. I don't remember if there are body andtextures in EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer or Younger Hotter NPC's  ?

But in your game folder meshes\characters\_male you see the body you use and in textures\characters\ Race-name-folder \ female   you see the HGEC body textures. And in  textures\characters\ Race-name-folder is the head texture, used by male and female.

I never used OCOv2. But you can use only the textures like very other replacer copy the textures in the right folders. And 4k, 2k or smaller doesn't matter, the color must be right.

I don't use anything over 2K with my old computer.. Most body, have and head textures are only 1024 or 512 KB in my game.

I don't remember if Vanilla had seams. There was definitely a neck seam.

But the fact that you have foot seams is strange. Body and foot are all the footfemale.dds. So on one texture.  It must be a bad texture if there is a Color difference.

----------------------------------

The Unofficial Oblivion Patch and all the Unofficial DLC Patches fix meshes, textures, scripts and dialogues.  Some Mods need the Unofficial Patch .

I never needed patches for scripts and dialogues. I was able to play the main quest and all side quests..

So I don't have the esp installed, but I installed all  meshes and textures folder from the Unofficial Main and DLC Patches.  ( not the sound folder, because I have a german game and don't want to mix with english vanilla dialogs )

For some people, however, the Unofficial Oblivion Patch is a must-have.  But not for me.

-------------------

Can you upload your foodfemale.dds , handfemale.dds, headhuman.dds and the _n.dds.  And the 4 female body nif and the head.nif you use.

? seams with all races? Or only the humans and woodElf and highElf ( they all use Imperial textures )  What about orc, darkElf, GoldenSaints, DarkSeducer, Khajiit, Argonian ?

Thanks again for your reply!!

Regarding these two mods, EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer and Younger Hotter NPC's, the first one is used to replace the armors with the HGEC E-cup variant, adding the BBB function to the armors, while the second one uses an ESP to make all female NPCs younger and therefore more attractive.
Anyway, following your guide I also thought the issue might be related to some mod, and I checked all of them with TES4Edit. The ones that overwrite files and affect race meshes and textures are ‘MaleBodyReplacerV5.esp’, which is overwritten by the mod ‘khajiittextfix.esp’ to apply the fix for the Khajiit race.

My question about the mod loader was only to make sure I fully understood your guide and to avoid problems in the future 😇.

As previously mentioned, I tested with a clean installation (no mods and no meshes/textures in the Data folder) and the problem was already visible. After that, I only added the HGEC mod and the Seam Reducer egt files, without success. Also the installation was manual but in a lot of my attempt I tried manual/obmm in the past days to make sure if I made some mistakes... but is very simple, after I understand the folder structure where I have to put files in this case...

Sorry if I repeat myself, but I rarely speak English and I wanted to make sure nothing I wrote earlier was unclear.

Regarding the possible question about why I use the H-cup with EVE that is meant for E-cup?  Mmm.. following your guide, my player character with Blockhead is futa with H-cup, while the game’s NPCs are all non-futa but use the E-cup. So in the future for my player character I will use some standalone armor mods meant for H-cup.

About your request: sure, I can upload the files along with their VirusTotal scan [https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/bcdf47e278ac62e57db9f105a44b8a72a29ab442bc966d7df719e29943e9cb5d?nocache=1].

Here is the link to download the meshes and textures that I use: ProblemSeams.7z

The issue occurs in all female races (Khajiit, Argonian, Wood Elf, Dark Elf, Imperial, and so on...).

Example for hand seam with another race...

otherseampic.png.d97cbca85affe5aad154c4b82b09e6f1.png

I tried to keep the same folder structure that I have in my game, but I removed skeletons, animations, and textures from other races so the upload wouldn’t be too heavy. I think the files named ‘underwear' can probably be deleted as well, since I don’t use them.

Again, thank you very much for your kindness!!

Posted

even in NifSkope I see the seams.

Your female nif:
Foot gloss 100, all other nif gloss 10
Foot different color

Good: Hand  upper lower head all the same gloss and color

BodyAssetOverrides:  the PerRace Oblivion M  argonian_tail.nif and khajiit_tail.nif ore from OCO2 ?   You can use it, It does the same as MaleBodyReplacerV5.

headhuman_M.nif must be from OCO2. The male and female humans and elf will use different head meshes if you have OBSE plugin Blockhead installed. It's not bad, you can do it, you have male head textures for Blockhead overwrite in your folders.

Your female imperial textures are very bad, especially the footfemale.dds.    The left and right arms are different colors.

The best way to check textures is to copy them into one texture , into different layers, and then move them seam to seam.

footfemaleColor.jpg

You can try my textures. I put them into the MySeamsFixes.7z

I also made minimal fixes and improvements to other files. All in the file. And I deleted all the correct files; you already have them, and they don't need to make the upload file unnecessarily larger.
So you can install the meshes and texture folders and see if Humans and elf have less seams. I use very small textures.

MySeamsFixes.7z

I hope this significantly reduces the seams.

And that will be the problem with the other races as well. Check your textures. Use ones with uniform colors and brightness levels.

I can upload my other textures.  But I use some Blockhead overwrites and replaces some male textures.

Hello my Dear @fejeena I really want to thank you for all your patience. Sorry If don't answer before but I was following your guide and wanted to apply to the best possible.
I have good news but coming with new problems... The good news is that your guide to modify the ".dds" was the solution and I managed to get pretty good result (below in the spoiler), the bad news is that for me is very difficult to make things working to reduce foot seams and head seams, probably because I don't know the right spot to modify and because I'm not skilled enough (anyway this give me new ideas to add tattoos / pubic hair / fix of some textures in the future).

Another thing that I want to thank you is that I analize only some nifs and in the process I don't open the other nifs related body and you was right, the alpha values was different.

Below a little spoiler if you have any idea of why I can't see correctly the textures of a Nif trough NifSkope [I use the version of your guide]. If you have a link to a guide to follow can be usefull.Thanks.

Now I want to skip to my new problems. I managed to fix all seams using OCO, but it was so difficult for the different instructions pages and probably at the end of my modding attempt I will write a new post here in your guide that might be usefull for someone else in the future. This time I don't see any problem, the game is running fine. Maybe the first try I had problems for a wrong installation or maybe because I
had kept some programs opened...

First real question: I really don't know how to sort the mod loader with OCOv2.

TES4Edit show only this type of conflicts for now related to NPCs (spoiler below with my new modloader). Do you have any suggestion?

Notes: Like you wrote in your guide TES4Edit show me that  MaleBodyReplacerV5.esp set custom folder for Khajiit but also for Argonian. The Khajiit folder is fixed both by Khaajit Fix and by OCO. The Argonian male is handled by OCO that use the Oblivion.esm folder path.
Maybe I can deactivate also MaleBodyReplacerV5.esp...

This spoiler contain question unrelated with your guide, if you want to assist me or not is up to you, thank you anyway!!

I know that you don't use this mod, but how risky is to do this, because you say to never bash -> https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/52010?tab=description I really don't know how to do a bashed patch because I follow your guide... I use OBMM only to make track of the mods (and I use a backup folder with all descriptions for future). I have Wyre Bash but I don't use it. The problem is not to make a bashed patch, but to not screw everything with Lovers mods (I have backups because it is the basis of your guide, to backup everytime).

Yes is installed by deafult in this path by Seamless OCO... I myself used a lot your guide also to overwrite meshes and textures and all worked as intended. So I think that I fill cut the two nifs from this folder and paste them directly where they belong (because nothing after Seamless OCO alter this two nifs).

Probably for now I will do some tests, use an old backup without OCO, see if all mods working (for now everything work like a charm, I have to test Tamago/Hiyoko better), organize folders and at least make a final Backup so I can overwrite with OCO paying attention to not overwrite Bodies. And before that I have to refollow your guide to clean all dirties edits of DLCs/ESPs etc...

Thank you a lot and for your support, I'm really grateful!! ☺️

NifSkope

Do you have the right path in the fif?   started with Textures\   Never with Data or  C : / Bethesda Softworks or other shit.

Then the texture must be in the folder, not packed in a bsa file.

You can install NifSkope wherever you want. Not in your game.

-----------------------------

You can use the UV map of a nif file to see the seams or add tattoos

Spoiler

You add the UV map as new layer ( I use Paint.net )

You can change the color of the UV , sometime black somtimes white is better

UV1.jpg

You can add nore layers with lowerbody and foot. So you will see all seams.

Or you add a texture or draw a new texture and you alsways see the seams.

UV2.jpg

How to get the UV map from the nif. ( !  it always save as tga file ! .  Paint.net can open and save tga files )

UV3.jpg

Here upper, lower HGEC UV map,

Body UV map.7z

Load order:

I never used OCOv2.  But Oblivion_Character_Overhaul.esp is in the BOSS masterfile

In my Tutorial link in my example loadorder OCO must be at the end of the race Mods

Why not only use the OCO textures?  Create a textures replacer

And the OCO conflicts : The mod change all races and NPCs so you see conflicts with Oblivion.esm and any other Mods that use Vanilla NPCs or change vanilla races. Thats why OCO must be down in load order that no other Mod overwrtes OCO

Load order

khajiittextfix.esp   yes if OCO fix it you don't need it

I would place

LoversCreature.esp

SetBody.esp
khajiittextfix.esp          out
Oblivion_Character_Overhaul.esp

all other OCO esp

Raceenabler.esp

At the end. no Mod after this

LoversMB2.esp
LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp
LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp

--------------------------------

I never used OCO so I don't know Oblivion Character Overhaul - Advanced Edition.

OCO does not need  Wrye Bash and a bashed patch, so the Advanced Edition is more than a clean esp.  Can't help with it.

I don't use Mods that need Wrye Bash . I use OBMM to set and sort my load order. And with TES4Edit I dlete conflicts. If it is not possible I don't use it.

-------------------------

The male argonian_tail.nif and khajiit_tail.nif  in the overwrite folder you don't need if you use OCO, if overwites all it need with Blockhead, no need to add files in the overwrite folders.

If you don't use OCO you can use the 2  nif in the overwrite folder.

I use Blockhead a lot for NPCs with tattoos ( not all NPCs with that race should use the tattoo texture.

I have some races with creatures leg ( cows that do not use _male folder leg nif, they get legs with Blockhead.

My player race get body  .I also use H cup and LL lower for my player, piercings in nipple and futa lowerbody. All NPC E cup . I do the same you want to du, NPC use E cup armor clothes, Player use Mod H cup.

Some races use female and male head nif like OCO do it. In vanilla male and female use the same head nif and same head textures, but I was not able to find male and female body texture with the same color. Now Blockhead with different male and female head textures and different head nif (because the nif setting from male and female are different and the seam was more visible.

Hope I  have answered all questions.

You see other cildren in game? and the game does not crash?  Then something was wrong with your console commands

Why console? Use the Tamago ini to change cycle, that's what it's for.

And what Tamago version you use?

The old classic version?  Do you have the right HiyokoGenerator.esp? If you don't have MBP you need the no-MBP HiyokoGenerator.esp

Or you use the   Tamago / Hiyoko Master Set ? Do not mix both versions !!!

And do you use HiyokoGeneratorGeneForge?

Im using mbp and the master set for tamago and hiyoko i also cant see other children and the console command i used is to speed up time not to change cycles and i dont use gene forge idk whats the problem i also use hiyoko shooter for childbirth scene but when the woman have a miscarige everything was fine

Hi @fejeena there! Thanks again for all your advice. You are helping me a lot!! I’m still trying to sort out NifSkope, and I’ll probably test a few different versions (I’m on Windows 7). I remember that years ago, when I used an older build of NifSkope to create basic NPC mods for Skyrim, the textures displayed correctly.
And yes, I followed your guide exactly, I made sure not to install the game in “C:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion”, but instead in “C:/Games/Oblivion”.

I’m also going through all the comments on the HiyokoGeneratorGeneForge thread before adding it. After that, I plan to finish my setup with:

  • Lovers Slave Trader
  • Lovers Chorus – Voice Randomizer
  • and your mods, which I really like, especially Lovers Rape Slave LST, Lovers Jealousy, and the one I’m looking forward to the most: LoversLab Members Gone Wild.

As for armors and smaller addons, I’ll take care of those later once the main setup is stable.

***************************************

I may be going slightly off-topic, but I hope you don’t mind a "small" question… 😅

During my tests I only had one CTD, probably caused by Hiyoko because I switched mod-order and next I loaded a save where my character was pregnant and about to give birth. Aside from that, everything seems fine.

1) Do you think “LoversJoystick 1.46 (LAPF compatibility plugin for SetBody)” is required for
SetBody Reloaded (link:
https://www.loverslab.com/topic/13908-setbody-reloaded/)?

I’m using the version I linked above without LoversJoystick. It seems to work perfectly, but maybe the plugin is essential and I simply misunderstood its purpose.

2) With Blockhead, is it possible to create override folders that take priority over the body meshes applied by Tamago SetBody Reboot on vanilla NPCs? I was wondering whether Blockhead could help with this.

Everything is working correctly, apart for the fact I had to tweak the INI so that the post-partum stage uses the original HGEC body, because that stage doesn’t apply properly to clothing switching meshes. It seems to be a limitation of the mod: the INI mentions that clothing mesh swapping covers every stage except the final one (post-partum).

On the positive side, female Hiyoko born from my character inherit my custom body correctly, which I’m very happy about.
If overriding the post-partum different bodies stages isn’t possible, I might simply disable pregnancy for my female player after testing.

3) My Hiyoko children work normally: they have a basic greeting line, but they don’t show any dialogue from my Lovers plugins, and I can’t find any option to control them.

I searched around but couldn’t find up-to-date information.
Is there a mod that lets your Hiyoko follow their mother or father?
Do you have any suggestions for a simple way to manage them, even just basic follower commands with spells or dialogues?

I also haven’t tested yet whether Lovers dialogue-based interactions work for Hiyoko born from other NPCs. Do they?

Additionally, although the game is stable, I keep getting the pop-up message:
“You have too many followers.”
I’m not sure whether I should fix something or if it’s safe to ignore or disable this limit.
Of course, this is only during testing, I won’t actually travel around with 30 followers.

ScreenShot28.png.8f2349807f3c1c24e82cea64a2877b11.png

EDIT: I understimated Tamago/Hiyoko. There is a period of "child", after they grow and became adult so other dialogue mods will wok (exception for one that now I don't recall the name, but you can ask an NPC with Hight disposition to be your lover and to fuck. Anyway fuck option isn't present but if you make child your lovers before the "adult period" they will accept to fuck. Spells to engage sex don't work if they aren't adult, eventually it popup a no greetings dialogue! -> I will add MCM and SlaveTrader and see if I get new usefull commands :D

4) Do you use perhaps "VipCxj_HighHeels" (obviously the one compatible with Lovers)? Now that I'm testing my "daughters" I continue to be spammed with this damnned messages! I don't know if there is a solution or alternative to Hight Heels. I don't know if they can harm in the long term:

ScreenShot28.png.7220cb59a85613218451b39961c78057.png

**************************************************

Sorry @mehdirezo for jumping into the discussion, I’m new to modding this game, so I’m probably the last person who should be giving advice. The language barrier doesn’t make things easier either. But honestly, you haven’t provided enough information; even an expert would have trouble helping without a full mod list.

If you follow the guide in this thread, I can assure you that the base game + Lovers should be stable and free of CTDs.

I’m also using the Tamago/Hiyoko setup, but which version did you install? I’ve heard there are several variants.

If the main Lovers mods are installed correctly, meaning you can start sexual events via dialogue or combat, only then should you move on to Tamago/Hiyoko mods. They usually are the closing mods and you shouldn’t start your setup with them. Did you check also this thread?

Here’s what I’m using:

1. TAMAGO / HIYOKO MASTER SET
https://www.loverslab.com/topic/126047-tamago-hiyoko-master-set/

  • TamagoClub
  • HiyokoClub
(Replace the ESP with the one inside HiyokoGenerator (without MBP & x117) if you’re not using MBP or x117.)
  • LoversTamagoClub
  • LoversHiyokoClub

Make sure to follow the load-order examples in the thread.

I encourage to start only with these and see what happens...

But why you use console commands and INI settings? There is a spell to change the frequency and a lot of aspect related to cycle/pregnancy and it is working. If you changed ini setting probably you had messed with some formulas... if you are using the same version mod like mine, restore the inis file to default (using the ones provided by mod author) and next use the spell and change days/effectiveness ecc to test the mod.

Don't use all mods at once.

And only if that works, add ONE more mod.  And remember the correct load order!

The minimum tamago/Hiyoko Mod

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed.esm
Lovers with PK.esm
TamagoClub.esm
HiyokoClub.esm

LoversTamagoClub.esp
HiyokoGenerator.esp
TamagoSetBody.esp
Lovers Mods

SetBody.esp

all Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Mods

LoversMB2.esp
LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp
LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp

You can have more Lovers Mods but start with just these Tamago. And add one more Mod if ibirth works. And when childbirth no longer works, you know what the "bad" mod is.

---------------

That's all I use. Except for LoversCeatures and  HiyokoGeneratorBroodMother.esp and HiyokoGeneratorGeneForge.esp.

I like the idea of LoversHiyokoShooter, but I haven't found a version that works in my game. That's why I don't use it.  And I don't like any of the other Tamago/Hiyoko mods.

With the right INI settings, it does exactly what I want.
