What they also will never mention is the acceptance of Homosexual. Transsexuals and other alternate life styles openly and freely accepted into this community. Indeed many of those individuals who have been shunned by the "society" that they mention are openly accepted for who they are and valued as a member of this society. Here you can be who you truly are. Even their rant admits " The key issue is that Loverslab is a community". Even though they use that value as evidence that it is a greater problem because of it. All that is needed for any individual that doubts the care and consideration given to individuals here is to join and interact for a week on a regular basis. It can be  in any forum. They don't even have to go to those "sections" that have "objectionable" content. Just standard sites.

 

It is a classic example where some individuals hold a witch hunt for someone based entirely off of some "broad info" and believe because of that those individuals are also "contaminated" and the entire thing is evil and should be stopped without actually seriously holding a non-biased investigation for a clean clear concise and truthful interpretation. We do have rape, bestiality and other such things mentioned but the community in whole is a very open caring and compassionate community were the members truly care for each other and regularly offer each other words of encouragement and assistance.

Yea Omega.. I haven't had a sex mod in a play-though for some time now. I had a copy running around in my mod folder for testing and to help others but not as a major play requirement. I am still here because of the community and people I know here.

All of my ladies are badass strong warrior ladies - and they are secure enough in themselves to like sex, while they're at it.  One is a succubus - her strength WAS in her sexuality - not just sex, but confidence and sense of self are very alluring qualities. Another was a prominent member of the Thieves Guild - does her enjoyment of sex, her attraction and connection to a few fellow guildmates, somehow negate all of her many accomplishments? Certainly not!

So I searched now a bit for a mod that actually enables sex, not JUST rape. Is there anything of that here? I mean I found bestiality and what not, so this is a really weird modding site! (not judging)

You should check out Sexlab-Romance, been a while since anyone posted in it's thread as it's working solid, so it might be a page or two back in the SL-Downloads section, but it's got what you want.

 

Aswell there's things like Spouses-Enhanced and the like, so it's definately on the site, you just need to find it

 

Oddly enough, I am into light BDSM type things though, but for me it's always consensual and that is really the difference I guess. If I used sex mods at all, it'd probably be something like that, or maybe one of those lover's comfort type mods. Not into "reality" mods that add horny dudes (or others) to come and attempt raping my female characters. I already have to worry about those realities in real life, last place I want to think about it is in a game. But, I guess perhaps I'm just a bit too sensitive when it comes to that. Mostly for... personal reasons that shouldn't need explaining.

 

Whilst certainly there are those with rape-fantasies, it is probably a much smaller component to this than a first glance might indicate.

 

Point is that we're modding Skyrim, a game which consists of mostly combat. There is non-combat content in it unlike the average shooter game or the like, but most of the content and actual gameplay revolves around combat.

 

Couple this with how difficult it is to create any kind of engaging experiance with random townspeople who only say the same couple of lines over and over, and there is actually a far more practical reason behind why "rape" mods are such a big thing. They are easier to make and can be used in far more gameplay than anything else, just due to the nature of the game we're modding here.

 

 

I know that's why i use them. It let's me get some worth out of Sexlab, it spices up the gameplay so it's not all "twat bandit over head till they ragdoll", i'm into the DD mods and it integrates well with that, and it's often a good alternative to the game just killing you when you fail.

But i also use SL-Romance and quest-mods that enable SL use outside of combat.

 

 

Oh, and as an aside for the whole GeekFeminism malarky.. go tell it to all the great female developers we have here, including all the awesome gal's i'm working along side on the DD mod, whom often seem to have even raunchier mod ideas than myself
