kluchgts Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 This started with me trying to use SexLab Romance, except no animations happened she just kinda stood there in front of me, that's when the moaning started. That was probably 3 hours of game time before now, she is still moaning. I've Rebuilt and Cleaned SexLab twice, she's still moaning. It's stopping me from continuing with the Dawnguard Quest Line. I've tried enabling/disabling, killing/resurrecting, none of it works. When I try to disable the original one and put in a new one, it doesn't follow the quest line, it just walks back to the castle. These are the mods I use now. SexLab.esm ZaZAnimationPack.esm SharedSeranaDialogue.esm SexLabProceation.esp SexLabMatchMaker.esp SexLab Romance.esp Sexlab Submit.esp Hydra Slavegirls.esp SexLab Submit Serana.esp I tried opening a save before I met Serana but that makes the SexLab MCM Menu disappear.
Just Checking Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I think Cornbread was making a joke. In my non-professional opinion, I think your easiest bet would be to load the game from before meeting Serana and then clean save and reinstall your sexlab. In theory, that should let the mod fire itself back up and make the MCM menu appear again. Also, Romance is still working fine, last I checked. I can only assume FNIS was run before using SL, so are you using the new SL beta? Maybe that conflicts with something in Romance now.
WaxenFigure Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Before you do anything drastic just use the tool already present. Sexlab has a reset available in the MCM menu which should take care of you. It WILL however erase all changed settings you have made so you'll have to check all the settings after you reset. ("Clean Systems" option)
kluchgts Posted July 1, 2014 Author Posted July 1, 2014 @dirtyforeigner I'm assuming SL means SexLab, sorry I'm new to this still lol but idk, I'm using 1.58. @waxenfigure I tried that a few times before uninstalling.
BogBrush82 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Can't get Serana to stop moaning Well vampires are pretty horny......
Just Checking Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Ok, I have some ideas for this. Bear with me. If they don't work, just remember, I'm another user, not a modder, so I have very little idea how these things work on the inside. Right, first, you mentioned you were new. This might come off as condescending, but you did make sure to run FNIS before trying to use Sexlab, right? Just wanting to make sure, since that's an easy mistake to make when you're getting started. I don't know if it would cause perpetual moaning, but it is necessary for animations to play, which you mentioned in the original post didn't happen. If you haven't, run it and try playing an animation again. Maybe it will sort of... override what Serana's already trying to do and she'll stop moaning when the new animation finishes successfully? That or she'll keep moaning as she is now and a new animation will start her moaning in stereo, but if she's already a little broken this probably won't break things any further, right? (bad joke) If you did run FNIS, this is a pretty moot point, though. You said you used the clean system function before uninstalling. So does that mean you've removed Sexlab from your active mods and she's still going? Or did that solve the problem? You also mentioned in your original post that when you tried loading a save before meeting Serana, the Sexlab MCM disappeared. Is that save from before installing Sexlab in the first place? Because it takes some time for the mod to appear in MCM. If it doesn't show up on its own after maybe 5 minutes, max, then there might be a problem. Otherwise, just wait it out and see what happens. One more thing to pester you about. Are are running more mods than you listed up there, and how old is the save file you're using? If you have a lot of mods that run a lot of scripts, something can eventually break, or break something else just because, and I understand that the nature of Bethesda games makes it so the longer you use a save file for, the more likely this is to happen. I think some clever modders have put together programs to clean your saves and prevent this from happening longer. If it's a new file and you don't have many script heavy mods going, you're probably fine and this might just be a little bug no one's caught yet. Ok, that's all. I'm going to press the post button and look like a ranting fool when you reply and say that you fixed the problem, and the solution was none of mine.
germanicus Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 First - I'm sorry, and I apologize for laughing so hard when reading the title of your thread. I could only imagine how that sounds. Your problem may lie in "SharedSeranaDialogue. ism" mod. I would recommend to install the mod, load the game, saves & exit. Then load one of the earlier saves, save &exit, Clean your latest save by saving cleaner, load the game, save & exit. Load the game and that should solve your problem. Then, when finish your quests with Dawngard, install this mod again.
Arizona_Steve Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Me too, sounds hilarious and I'm not sure it's something I'd want to fix.
ITNW1993 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Agreed. The first thought that went to mind was "And this is a bad thing... why?" Of course, the only reason I can think of is her moaning would probably attract every horny creature within fifty leagues, but eh. Details. As for a solution, try out dityforeigner's suggestions. Running FNIS, waiting for SL to appear on MCM and then cleaning the registry usually fixes things for me.
Snoopy911 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I had this effect once on my own character. It was a negative effect from defeat getting stuck . I was able to stop it with the defeat cleanup. Never tried submit but it has probably similar funcionality.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Isn't it generally a GOOD thing if they don't stop moaning? That usually means you're doing something right.
Just Checking Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Isn't it generally a GOOD thing if they don't stop moaning? That usually means you're doing something right. If they're still doing it for a few hours after finishing, then they might just be mocking you.
