Cynical Misanthrope Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Hope you solve it. One last thing I can think of atm, do you have any other stuff connected to the PC using USB? I'm asking becuase I have a few games that don't like my steering wheel and sometimes I forget to unplug it, and my PC behaves pretty much like this.

(all caps baby...all caps ) I have my external harddrive and my flashdrive in USB ports. My printer takes up another one, and then my keyboard and my badass Razer Naga (mouse) taking another. Finally (meaning I use all of them), I have my Logitech gamepad sensor plugged in for wireless controller support. Is this all my own fault, and I shoud've known better than to have multiple drives plugged in? I would BEAT my ass!
Cynical Misanthrope Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Well, It was just a thought I had. It's likely unrelated, but worth checking up every possible option.
CoxcombCornking Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Holy Cow. Lots of innocent sounding, yet creepy items. That list looks like a bunch of crap that piggybacked in with various freeware you may have downloaded. .....and one obvious mind control application.

I'll break my foot off in my ass (somehow) if that was the only reason these things were happening. Those messages happen right away any time I turn my game off, which is not so strange, so maybe it wasn't the messages doing this afterall. I really hope that's true. Holy Cow. Lots of innocent sounding, yet creepy items. That list looks like a bunch of crap that piggybacked in with various freeware you may have downloaded. .....and one obvious mind control application. Must...run...Autodesk...must...appease...the satellite...
D_ManXX2 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Autodesk is harmless but needed to run 3dmax right. if you don't 3dmax will not load when you activate it. The move to desktop sounds still like a application is trying to connect to internet. you don't need to switch of Kaspersky but you could try setting it to gaming mode in settings. How are you playing games currently is internet on or are you playing in offline-mode ?? After watching your process there are several things to watch for: Chrome has an auto updater how is it currently configured ?? Malwarebytes also an auto updaterhow is it currently configured ?? Nvidia also auto updater how is this configured ?? Adobe also auto updater need to check configuration ?? What is SASCore64.exe ?? Looks like super anti spyware if so check configuration. Maybe that is the problem you have many things that could interfere with game experience. Try switching off most of this and see if the problem still occurs.

All of those have been active forever, and even when auto-updating was active (they're not now), they didn't take me to my desktop during gameplay before. I recently reset all browsers (caused me serious grief, but SearchConduit had to go...I despise SearchConduit), so I have doubts that Chrome, Firefox or IE are the culprits. NVidia is the only thing on your list I haven't touched, but that's not it. This time, I'm sure. Adobe's auto-updater is off, as I keep getting a message telling me PS CS6 and PS CC (yes, both) have an update each. I removed (ejected) my usb drives, and I haven't gotten any bullshit yet. Let's ride this out and see if maybe my nightmare is over. If not, LL will obviously be the first to know. In fact, I'd rather ask for comp support of any kind on LL than anywhere else. This place has plenty of geniuses, and they all respond quick as hell. Edit: and no, I don't play anything in offline mode. I play Mass Effect 1 2 and 3, Skyrim (ofc), and Sims 3. All have become victims of my stupid issue.
Rayblue Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 To check on what programs get fired up on first start, I use either Autoruns, Hijackthis or StartupCPL.
d4nt320 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat if someone told you having 3 antispyware is better that person is wrong because you cant run 3 cars a the same time. having 3 antispyware in you pc is really wrong they will collide. ok now you need to have only one antyspyware, two because you have 3 antispyware maybe you have a malware trojan or spyware on you pc. you can scan but they will not find nothing because they are 3 antyspyware you need to have only one. then scan your pc after uninstalling the other two antyspyware take care of superantispyware is a good anitspyware but this program can break you HDD because he force the scan of the computer not like other antispyware.

Each one has a slightly different purpose. Kaspersky stops any attacks on my computer, and is always the first to catch a malicious file or website. SUPERAntiSpyware is there to rid me of adware.tracking cookies and basic trojans,. MalwareBytes is there to catch what falls through the cracks, like pup optional files that other programs seem to consider no threat, and is always able to run properly to check for viruses no matter what, unlike Kaspersky, which sometimes gets stuck on certain kinds of files (especially .lnk files). Each is set up to play nice with each other, and the only one that actually acts on it's own is Kaspersky Pure 3.0. I've been doing things this way for a long time. It would be a miracle for a virus to catch my comp off guard.
D_ManXX2 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 yes but if you are playing games and you have so many programs in back ground then your game will deteriorate. That is why go off-line and switch any program off and then play and you won't have the error your describing. When i play games i always use clean boot.
AwfulArchdemon Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 The thing is, it's been set up this way for a while, and my game only recently (kinda) started being pulled to desktop. It's something else. Here's what I'll do: I'm gonna turn off MBAM and SAS. If shit's working right, I'll turn SAS back on. If shit's working right still, I'll turn on MBAM. I f shit screws up, I'll turn SAS off, with MBAM on and see what's up. This crude little test will point out the culprit, assuming an AV is the culprit. If it becomes apparent that none of these are screwing up my gameplay, I'll delete all of my Creative Cloud entirely. I don't even want it. The one-and-only reason I got CC was to have Illustrator, but the trial's gonna run out soon anyway, so fuggit. If that doesn't do it, I'll shut down everything that runs, and see what's up. If nothing is running, and my game still gets dragged to desktop, I'll throw my computer off a bridge, and see if that helps.
...0... Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Use waterfox and ghostery million times better then chrome and super antispyware. Plus make sure your game when gaming is number one priority so no prgram and see you have alot running at same time can overule that because thats your problem. You don't need to have most of those programs running all the time lol. Start organize your programs way to many active and not needed at all. Use StartPage if your so affraid you be tracked its also alot safer then google-bing or whatever search engine you use. If you study more how to beahave on internet and how to use your PC you won't need all those virus malware or anti tracking in the first place. This is just my opinion don't take it to perosnal ok Good luck.
windpl Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Maybe this is a feature of w8 On process list I only do not recognize few of them. And seriously who to fuck name process communicator.exe this is highly shady But I stay away from w8 as far as I can so maybe it is a w8 process. And if this is w7 then you have some weird service running.
AwfulArchdemon Posted July 3, 2014 Author Posted July 3, 2014 @EvasiaDutch: My reasons for all the AVs are listed in the previous post, and are actually there mainly due to suggestions. Each serves a purpose, but now only Kaspersky is running, and so far, my game hasn't dragged me to the desktop. About being tracked, CCleaner rids me of anything SAS leaves behind, and I know where any tracking is done on my comp anyway. If I see anything I don't like beyond the AppData folder, it's gone. Mostly, I just wanted steel security because someone was relentlessly attacking my computer (and failing miserably) every day, so I didn't want to take any chances. He stopped after a while. What a dick. @windpl: W7. I still hate W8.
AwfulArchdemon Posted July 4, 2014 Author Posted July 4, 2014 Okay, I went to my Task Scheduler to dig into this again after being sucked out of Mass Effect 2. I think it may be the Adobe Application Updater doing it. I've uninstalled Creative Cloud. I noticed that the Updater is scheduled to run every hour indefinitely. I disabled it. Observe: Time to test with the updater disabled.
