I am happy to share LL with people I feel are mature enough to make up their own minds, and I also praise level of help and assistance I have received here.

Stereotypes are silly. :3

True but it was the best analogy I had.

There's nothing wrong with that but I remembered something about black people and melons and I giggled loud enough for my cat to wake up, stare at me, meow three times and go back to sleep under my pillow xD

Okay this is way off topic, and I would appreciate any posts after this one that could remain on topic, BUT...

This fella I know was on a ride along one night with a local sheriff and they got a call about some stolen items and the suspects running down a railroad track to get away. So they go up to the railroad track and I shit you not, two black guys with watermelons under each arm running down the tracks. Now that's fitting a stereotype.

Once again no offense intended towards anyone.

Steering off-topic for a moment...

I use to frequent another gaming forum some years ago.  When RE5 was released, I remember someone posted that the devs were racists.  Why?  Because the market place scene in the beginning showed African vendors selling watermelons.

Watermelons originated in parts of Africa (north and west in particular).

I'll share it with anyone, I don't care. I'm not ashamed of being a member here.

There is some amazing modders here, and to keep their work hidden from others is just wrong. People seem to forget that LoversLab is not just a site for sex mods. There is tons of other things here that are not sex related. And by not spreading the word to others to come check out all these mods, those mods are getting ignored by a ton of people who could be enjoying them.

And if people want to label me as a pervert for coming to this site, then more power to them. I don't care what others think of me. If I'm a pervert for visiting a site that has a few sex mods, yet a ton of other mods like armor conversions, new armors, weapons, houses, races, etc etc, then I guess I'm considered a pervert.

We have some of the most talented modders here, that's nothing to hide.

I agree with this. As anyone I talk to that is as interested in Skyrim(or Oblivion, Fallout, etc) mod-ability as I am, I let them know about Lovers Lab without a doubt. Them signing up or whatever is a different matter entirely, though.

I've only told one person about LoversLab, and that's my spouse (whom is fine with it). I'm not ashamed of it - it's more that no one will understanding with a "modding community" is and I don't want to have to explain THAT as well as the adult-orientation. :)

I found this community out of sheer fluke a little over a year ago and I don't regret going down the rabbit hole. The people I have talked to over the past year have been very friendly, honest and truthful. I don't share this community because obviously not everyone agrees with the mods that are being created and would probably cause more harm than good. Notoriety can be a very bad thing unfortunately.

( random thoughts ) somehow ,i expected  that there will be more voters ,in total count ; recently i showed up so nice mods to some very good friends of mine,showed them how mods and moders can change games ( specialy females ) and they were sorta amazed,cuz for me as a man woman s body is one of the most beuatiful things on earth = if not the most,meantime my friedns were having boners i guess ( .. :)) ),tho i doubt that cuz all of us were bit drunk that night ;

some folks, are creating jaw droping stuff around here, something very sexy and very intelligent/art based mods, some not,but in the end, personaly,i don't give a sht my mom or anyone else would like it or not,i mean dat fact that im member of this site,,,,, everyone fucks, in reality or ...- virtual world,......so if someone don't like the fact that im here, downloadin this stuff,he should leave his ,,random thoughts" to himself

Nope, most of my very few friends dont exactly play games and the two that do, are console players.

On forums etcetera, nope, nope and nope, dont want unwelcome attention to the site.

I have no qualms about telling anyone about LoversLab. My boss knows I come here, and he's played skyrim, but on PS3. I occasionally put screenshots on my phone and show him what My character can do. He wouldn't come snooping around here, he doesn't have internet, he lives in the country, has just 3 channels on his TV.

Sharing is something I would do if most didn't already know about it. Most of my friends who play skyrim already know about the site and me being on it doesn't change a thing at all. My friends don't really care what I do on here because well if they joined hell they would probably do the same thing. However most of them are on console and a few on pc they just they don't come on this site which is odd. They will look from time to time but not really do anything on it.

Any of my friends that I could/would tell about LL are mature enough to be cool with it. So I've told a few and they've been here getting mods even if they aren't regular posters. And a couple of them I know in RL. The others are gaming buddies I met over XBox Live.

Posted

yes, but only with selected ppl.

it's not about the "omg he's got some strange mods in his games" thing. i don't give a f*ck about that, i ride the dragon the way a want to... or its riding me who cares?

those who know about LL are old enough and fine with it. showed them some screenshots, and they just said: damn, i bought it for ps3, i need a better pc soon

Posted

Not really, half of the time I'm embarrassed to use LoversLab content, the other half of the time I like it a lot. I think most friends would look strangely at me.

I will tell anyone if their asking the right questions, if their asking around about Mods with sexual content, etc...I will direct them here. As for Friends/Family, my house is a bit of a half-way house for many a lost soul, quite a bit of traffic, people staying over either on nightly basis or semi-permanent basis, if I didn't want anyone to know about my game I would never get to play my game...and so, the majority of them know and have seen it.

As for my general opinion, no shame in sexuality or the naked body...no, I do not run around naked... :P ...I see many people rattling on about immersive game play, the need to eat, drink, sleep, keep warm, no fast travel, etc...well, I guess I just take it that one step further, including the need to pee, bathe, the lust such as consensual and non-consensual sex....Bandits, etc... are going to take a piece of a defeated woman, sometimes a defeated man, I guess I just really like realism, for my serious game plays anyway...though once in a while I do run just a totally debauched game for the hell of it... :)

I don't care if someone knows about my sex mods Nicknames here and on Nexus are the same :P . I tend to add everything to my game that adds realism for a more rewarding and hardcore gameplay. Sex, sexual assaults and prostitution are parts of realism. The only mods I don't use is eat and drink since it's useless for a Vampire and the realistic needs stuff because the most mods of this kind are unrealistic and flawed and hinder more than everything else.

I hear you, I like realism myself, but just RP the food, drink, sleep needs in game myself, no need for a Mod to do that for me, just discipline...though admittedly I would like to use a Mod to help me with this (as a gauge and for extra 'realistic' inclusions) but I have not found a realistic Mod for such events, only punishment Mods with unrealistic demands....I like the 'Need to Pee' Mod, mixed with the 'Living off the Land' Mod (LotL found on Nexus, is a forgotten Mod) and Nature of the Beast (another Nexus Mod) for the bathing element (in Need to Pee), as I tend to play a stealth character and considering combat elements, etc...blood and sweat...I would expect him to smell over time and thus hinder him in his stealth approach, so he bathes regularly and has 'Scent Masks' (LotL Mod) he can apply...and NotB adds wind directions and ability by both PC and NPC to detect another by scent if the wind is blowing the right way.

I do play a Werewolf and so do expect his sense of smell to be even more highly attuned, though differentiation of scenting ability between PC and NPC has not been introduced into NotB as yet, but hopefully will be. His Werewolf status in another reason I don't use 'eat/drink' Mods, he lives on a diet of raw Humanoid and Predator meat (challenge in the hunt for his food), seems appropriate to me that he would, but no option for such a diet in the available Mods.

i don't know many hardcore gamers in real life, much less modding the games. I once tried to tell my brother about how awesome modded Halo was 10 years ago, and he just didn't get it. (you can fly a tank that shoots 3 burst rockets and you don't get it? are you dense or something?)

So i just tell them i play skyrim, and they think it must be an awesome game with the amount of time ive sunk into it. If only they knew...

I share it publicly as a way to get people the best mod manager for Fallout (FOMM obviously) but when it comes to LL's true purpose? I treat that more like the Dark brotherhood. It's only when I see the desire do I go, "You know, hypothetically, there is a site where you can maybe possibly get some, theoretically of course, mods that can possibly sort of add a little spice to your Bethesda game. I'm not saying it adds sex to your game... I'm just saying.. if you want that little umph to your game, just uh... go to this site."

Only talk about LL to people I know that would be interested. You'd be surprised, its more people than you'd think. >.> Besides, LL has a lot of good mods period that are not just adult.

Oh. And you won't get instabanned like other modding sites. So that is a plus.
