Content Consumer Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Here are three of varying difficulty The first one is Riften, right? Would that be the beggar (can't remember his name... Sniff or something) guy? And is the Khajiit the Thalmor spy (can't remember her name either)? EDIT: Snilf, and Shavari. Looked it up.
Guest Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Oh gods, Shavari is so hot. What I'd do to her if she weren't dead.

Just happened to take that shot during the quest to get Esbern. Reading my blog story on that could have been cheating, but I see all of you are fine, upstanding... people. Oh gods, Shavari is so hot. What I'd do to her if she weren't dead. It is kinda too bad, since it seems from the note she carries that she's blackmailed into the situation. Not that you'd likely know that until she was dead, but its one of those "there should be a side quest for this" bits for a mod I can't write. At least Malborn, and Brelas if you get her involved, can make it out safely.

I was playing earlier this week and something came up...don't remember what it was but it was in Solthstiem and I was like "they should have made a quest out of this dialogue choice". Same thing in Fallout 4 for Vault 81...there should have been a quest to help the vault residents leave their failing vault...
karlpaws Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Yeah, looking south at the Lorieus farm, and the Pale border. Winstadt has the hill immediately south or marsh everywhere else and Lakeview is either lake, rock hill or possibly Pinewatch if that tower is high enough. Now I suppose the real trivia would be, what is the east wing tower? I think it is alchemy, since I know the bedroom is west and I think the greenhouse is too. East is kitchen and armory but that tower could be either books or enchanting and since I never build any of the towers I don't really remember.
karlpaws Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 That is correct! Where did you get that roof climbing horse?
Inte Posted February 11, 2017 Author Posted February 11, 2017 I come out of the house the damn thing was on the roof. Here is an impossible one!
karlpaws Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 I come out of the house the damn thing was on the roof. Here is an impossible one! Well, if you're gonna leave the name right on the screen shot.... That is also one of the bandit starts from LAL and a Mage Guild Destruction (I think) mastery quest location. Fire, I think, though I don't do the quest much at all with the windup of the spells taking too long you're either dead or you didn't need that much power.
karlpaws Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Oh yeah, that'll be a hard one. I know there are a few of those chests tucked away but I can't remember which ruins that is off to the left. Something forsworn is all I can guess. One of the really big open places that you have to fight to get into a valley or some other outside place.
Code Serpent Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Ok, ok, here is a harder one? That's where you get the Predator's Grace boots, and the dungeon to the left is where you get the absorbing and soul stealing dagger. You also get one of the Slow Time words of power in there. But for the love of Akatosh I can't remember what the name of it is.
karlpaws Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 I think Dusk got the last one, so in the meantime, here's another one to try.
Vortec Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 I think Dusk got the last one, so in the meantime, here's another one to try. Riften Guard Tower
PubliusNV Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Ok, ok, here is a harder one? I've never seen that chest or boots, time to go exploring ...
Content Consumer Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 I don't do the quest much at all with the windup of the spells taking too long you're either dead or you didn't need that much power. I totally agree. Two hands, long casting time, easily interrupted by an attack, and it'll hit any friendly or neutral NPCs nearby (like your followers) in addition to the enemies. I suppose the fire one is good if you're in the mood to start a city-wide brawl in Solitude and you need a good way to do some damage to a bunch of civilians all at once. The frost one might just be useful to "block" a chokepoint, but the long casting time makes that an extremely rare circumstance. The lightning spell though, I have used to good effect. It's got a longer range than any other destruction spell, including other shock spells, which means it's handy for attracting the attention of flying dragons. Those dragons that are actually non-hostile and just fly around in circles before flying off. Sometimes I do go hunting, and I am no good at all for leading a moving target with arrows, shouts, or spells, so a long-range spell that strikes the target instantly is just the ticket to start a fight.
karlpaws Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 I think Dusk got the last one, so in the meantime, here's another one to try. Riften Guard Tower Maybe. If you mean one of the free standing towers outside the city, then no. I do have some wood textures replacing the usual ones, but the doors and stone are clues. It is in the Riften area though. Ok, ok, here is a harder one? That's where you get the Predator's Grace boots, and the dungeon to the left is where you get the absorbing and soul stealing dagger. You also get one of the Slow Time words of power in there. But for the love of Akatosh I can't remember what the name of it is. Near Hag's End then? Do you get there from the top level of Hag's End? I've never seen that chest or boots, time to go exploring ... I think Hag's End is the one on the west side, near the Falkreath border. Whatever is over there is fairly open to the world and you can get in through cliffs and such. I think the picture is from something more closed in. A large area but you can only get to it through an interior fort, then you pass through a large bowl shaped valley with some hidden spots off to the sides or up on cliffs, and the main boss is inside another fort. UESP entries make me think Deepwood Redoubt or Vale but without smashing in there myself I am not sure.
PubliusNV Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Hag's End is the place you get to after going through Deepwood Redoubt and Deepwood Vale.
karlpaws Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 That is Driftshade refuge, from near the end of the Companions quest line Right behind the camera is balcony you enter the room and stairway is just visible to the right. There is a gap behind that fireplace and the door "out" is to the left. When I forget about it, I usually get jumped by someone that ends up behind it somehow.
Punga Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Ok, ok, here is a harder one? Hag's End, right above your long cage above that waterfall. Question is, how do you get there "officially". No flying and stuff. I think Dusk got the last one, so in the meantime, here's another one to try. You say this is in the Rift? All porches/balconies I know of there, have wood floors. We need more.

I never liked it though, the ceilings are far too low.
