BreathoftheVoid Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 So I have a problem where I need a person to follow the player after talking to her and activating the next part of the quest. I want her to, after selecting the dialogue choice and she finish talking, to start following the player. I assume that I would attach a script fragment at the end of the stage of the quest that forces her to follow the player to the specific location which I have a trigger box located. I just don't know what to put for the script fragment. Any help would be appreciated!
4onen Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Take a look at the vanilla quest Repentance. Evidently one of the characters there follows you up the tower as you two fight through enemies, then triggers dialogue near the top. Hope that helps.
BreathoftheVoid Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 ugh so I was taking a look at the scripts and couldn't make heads or tails of it. I tried my best to apply it to the npc but It seems like its doing nothing :| Any other ideas?
Veladarius Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 You can create an alias for the npc with an AI package that makes them follow the player, you can also give it conditions so the package is only used in specific conditions such as a quest stage or variable value.
