Upgrading to 3.03 worked fine for me, I had to use save cleaner and remove the old versions scripts only, not the mod forms from my save. I didn't load the game with those removed either, I just installed the new version and loaded my new save. All progress and actions are working as before with the new additional dialog there.

Is anyone having a problem with 3.03 sexlab version?  When I do the dialogue options for sex it brings up a message box "are you the dominant female?", which has never appeared for me in any prior version (I play a male character).  When I select either yes or no, there's no sex animation that takes place.  I haven't changed anything in my game besides just updating.

Well, I can say the update seemed to work fine for the poster just above.

Some people using the new 3.0.3 OSex + CLEAN version are having issues with it.  Not everyone, I guess.

 

I don't know what the problem is - I'm not having problems myself.

 

I tried a re-upload of it, anyways.  I really don't know what the problem is or what's different in the set-up of the people who are experiencing an issue.

Yea... it seems the problem is indeed with 3.0.3.

I went back tot he 3.0.2 version and everything worked perfect again. I do hope someone can find out why...

it would be a shame if the newest version doesn't work for everyone

But anyway.... i keep enjoying the new dialoge with your lovers.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I am using Sexlab version, on a new game, and not really having any issues with it, hence I can't really troubleshoot problems I don't have... except that the fade to black plus text popup never appears for me. Have so far done Mirabelle's sex marathon in current game with latest version (before reupload), no pop up. Everything else works fine though. And I'm one of those that really like those popups.

 

Note that I have been missing fade to black and popups since the bugfix was released for Anneke not having any lover's options.

This and some of the NPC overhaul mods really make me want to get into modding myself. I'd love to make a mod that runs alongside this one, adding NPCs you're not interested in, or perhaps support for some of the better-voiced/modeled custom followers. I would have no idea where to start though, so for now I leave it in your more than amply capable hands!

At first: I like the idea to convert this Mod to OSA. But what i miss in the OSA-Edition are the threesome Animations and options of the SexLab-Edition. It would be very nice when a animator can make a threesome or foursome modul that can be integrated with this Mod.

It's a cool idea, but there is no way I would be able to run both frameworks on basically any verison of my load order, I have way way too much other stuff I need to include to make my game "complete" and the way I want it (exclusively Nexus mods at that; Sexlab, Amorous, animations and Submit for dialogues with non-Amorous NPCs are the only Sexlab mods I have). I would not recommend such a concoction to anyone who plans to do the same, nor anyone who wants to run tons of heavy duty sexlab stuff like Defeat, Aroused, Devious, etc. It would be gamedeath before you got a tenth into the mod.

I run both frameworks for Lover's Comfort, Dibella Cult, and Werewolves, so I'd definitely be interested in this personal brew of yours, Fox. I also run a heavy load list with over 180 mods, but I keep it running pretty smoothly with both a bashed patch and a merged patch. I also merged all of Bijin's stuff into an AIO. I know there's already one out there, but I don't like how he forces you to use either CBBE or UNP, so I removed all of the worn armor for his NPCs so I can change bodies and textures on the fly if I wish. Plus his method causes the invisible bug issue with Aela's werewolf form. That reminds me, I need to add Tocatta as Elisif in there again...

So right, fuck it I caved and installed the newest version. The storyboards aren't the worst thing in the world ever... lol

 

Have noticed one annoying oddity though. If you ask your fucktoy to travel with you and then have her masturbate, the follow package doesn't get removed once she's done.

You can fuck her afterwards and have it be removed but I'm guessing this isn't the intended/desired behaviour?

 

(The new greetings are pretty cool, though they did fuck up something I had done. Basically I'd piggybacked onto your follow/Oral/Vaginal/Anal topics to create some prostitutes and liven up the inconsequential prostitutes. Had to spend a couple of hours figuring out why they didn't work and fixing them. Worth it though I suppose)

Merging mods, merge patch and bashed patch has nothing to do with the kind of stability I am talking about. It doesn't actually do a thing to stbaility unless you are inching towards the 255 mod limit, it only ensures you do not see bad effects in game like gray faces and all your mods working as they should. I ALWAYS run all of that, and multiple other merges.

 

With stability or a heavy game, I am talking heavy complicated scripted mods, complicated combat mods (Dragon Combat Overhaul and other EGO mods, Wenches mods, Sands of Time, Warzones), environment mods (Vivid Weathers, DynDOLOD), ongoing updating character effects (Lover's Comfort, Frostfall, Wet & Cold, Realistic Needs and Diseases), really big mods who's string count adds to your total greatly (Interesting NPCs, Legacy of the Dragonborn, new lands mods like Falskaar, Molag Bal's Inferno) things like that. You can have a 255 mod load order without any of those and only new building mods, NPCs and followers, outfits, unscripted spells, weapons and armor and such and it will run without any issues and you could use both Sexlab and OSA in them without much issues, where a 40 mod load order with all those mods together will just utterly die probably with Sexlab alone, if not on it's own with no sex.

Yes, that's exactly it.  SexLab or OSex will be used at the appropriate times for all things.  And I'm gonna try a little OSex scene building.

 

Anyways, like I said - this is just my personal alchemy I'm working on.  But I'll make it available for people whose Load Order can handle such heady fare.  Might get it done over the weekend.

 

But, yeah... I've scoped out my next Quest and it could be a long one.  Maybe too long.  If I follow through on it (if I can deal with the work).  I got it all plotted out and I know the conversations I need to make.  Cast of characters would include Ria, Aela, Angi, Temba Wide-Arm and Elisif the Fair.

 

But before I jump into that I want a cool personal edition to work with.

Gee, I guess I should also mention that the size of this Mod is now just a hair under the Lovers Lab file size limit.  A new quest is going to effectively push me off Lovers Lab.

 

Hope there's no issue hosting the SexLab version at Nexus.
