Amorous Adventures [v3.4] (2018/06/02)

Ok.. i just downloaded the newest version (3.0.3 for OSA/OSEX) and i am experiencing troubles.

I took Serana to a nice place and found out she was amorous... she asked to 'spend some time together'.. i said yes... and........ nothing

The scene does not start, OSA doesn't start. I'm not sure if this is a problem that OSA had, or a problem that AA has, because a bit earlier i wrapped up the Elisif Amorous-questline, and everything there went fine.

Now if i want to start a scene without a quest telling me so, it doesn't work.

Any ideas what might be the problem?

(I have AA at the bottom of my load order and have both OSA and OSEX installed and working... or at least they should be working)

 

 

Beside that.... i love the new dialogue... i really do.

EDIT: Does anyone know if there are any other mods out there for OSA/OSEX?

I really want to see more of it, since it is an amazing mod

So I've been checking to see if other NPC's have the issue I had with Serana the one about her having Sexlab code in the OSEX version, seems Illdi is having the same issue, I completely skipped over the love scene and wound up with post love scene dialog. Oh and since I installed the update the Love and Song is quest tracker is not progressing properly. It's stuck on seek out Lisette, but again I'm at the part with Illdi. it's weird because both issues were not present in 3.0.2. Just figured I'd let you know.

 

I just ran through that with the 3.0.3 version - I can't replicate it.  Speaking with Illdi and Lisette works fine, OSex works fine and the quest updates.

 

If you have to set stage for some reason, the stages are in the walkthrough.

I can't replicate that.  I waited 4 days for Serana to get amorous and the OSex options work fine.

 

The bathing beauties mod uses OSex.

Okay Ysolda's animations are no longer playing, Threading the needle isn't showing up at all. I just don't understand why I'm having so many problems with the OSEX version of 3.0.3. Do I need to start a new game with it?

The 3.0 versions so far have been some pretty big changes.  And, I think we can all agree Skyrim is a fairly delicate system.  I would recommend rolling back to 3.0.2 if that was working ok.

 

I don't plan to put out another update for a while since it takes a while to make a quest.

 

It's all working for me locally.  I dunno.

If you need to roll back to 3.0.2 - here's a hotfix for Serana in the garden for the OSex version.  It's one script from version 3.0.3.  Drop it into you 3.0.2 scripts to replace the one there.  Hope this works out.

Yeah, it will.  I didn't try it, mind you, but it replaces the sexlab call with the OSex call so it should work out.

I don't know how you run your game.  If you use Mod Organizer, the mods are going to be under Mod Organizer.

 

I Strongly recommend using Mod Organizer.

 

But otherwise it should go where the scripts are.  e.g.

Incredible that I did not know that skyrim had weddings until many hours later, I thought that the wedding with Elisif in your mod was the only, perhaps in a quest can be necessary to be married and have adopted one child as a requirement.

Mod Organizer is far better. It's a bit of a steep learning curve, but basically you know the regular changing of load order that you do, moving ESPs up and down to make sure they don't overwrite the wrong things? Mod Organizer can do that with whole mods, so let's say a texture from one mod was being overwritten by a worse one from another mod, now normally you could not do anything with this in Nexus Mod Manager except reinstalling the first mod, which gets very complicated also if say you are following a guide that require you to install mods in a certain order, because one need to overwrite a texture in this, another a mesh in that, and a third a script in that, you'd then need to reinstall all three mods, and potentially the first one that was erronerously overwriting things. In Mod Organizer you just grab the mods and move them to a better load order, and that's the way it then works for you in game. You can double click any mod to see what files it contains and which of it's files are overwriting other things or being overwritten, and when updating a mod like this instead of dropping it in your Scripts folder as you do now - which essentially breaks a NMM install, and means you can now NEVER uninstall Amorous Adventures or those scripts entirely unless you remember to manually remove them or reinstall all of Skyrim - you would go to Amorous Adventures mod folder, which then contains all of Amorous's files and nothing else, and then drop them in that folder's scripts, at which point if you decided your next game should not have Amorous because you've already played through it or because you are not using sex mods in that game, those scripts will be deactivated as well.

 

The very large price you have to pay to change however will likely stop you from doing so; uninstall all your mods, delete skyrim, redownload it, reinstall SKSE and clean your masters, and then add all the mods you have previously downloaded to Mod Organizer instead of Nexus Mod Manager, and then set up your game again from the start. Feel free to visit my modding guide (in my sig) for videos and other instructions on how to do that.

That would make Heartfires a requirement of this mod (adoption and large parts of the marriage quest comes from that), and that in turn would make baby Jesus cry.

Version 3.0.3 is missing script files in source folder. Whole source folder is gone. Is it mistake or intensional?

And in OSEX mode, player and NPC is not aligned and totally off....

Yes, that's intentional. This mod is almost too big - it is just under the max file size for Lovers Lab. Everything non-essential was jettisoned. Why do yo need the source anyway?

Alright Fox that file you gave me doesn't work. I'm done with the OSEX version I'm uninstalling Skyrim and reinstalling it as well as all the mods and going back to the Sexlab version I prefer OSEX's animations but the amount of trouble I'm having just isn't work it.

I have both SexLab and OSex in my game. They don't conflict so you can use them together. Just an option, I guess.

Never used the Nexus/clean version before and the changelog is honestly impossible to find in the main post, is the SL version supposed to have a quick fade to black and provide some context for the quest before initiating a sex scene or did I screw something up while updating to 3.0.3?
