Hentai-chan Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 There are two mods I want to merge. One is called Battle Hardened Warpaints, the other is Enhanced Character Edit. When I say merge, I mean make the Standalone plugin of the mod work with ECE, which is originally designed to work with Race Menu. The reason I want this is very simple: If they're standalone, it would make them only accesible by my character, which, in turn, makes my character unique. This is purely for personal use. I don't mean to upload it anywhere. If you know how, I welcome the help. NOTE: I have no previous modding experience. But willing to learn!

Akzyra Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Too bad only RaceMenu has this nice Tattoo system. You would have to create new slider entrys for ECE, would work in vanilla too. Hope that gives you a start for modding. But why the standalone version. Cant you load all the sets? (dont have this mod, dont know) You could try to load the sets into the CK and merge them so one file has all options.

EDIT: I need a modding tool. Probably should have mentioned that. *snickers* A 3rd party modding tool, preferably.
Hentai-chan Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Creation Kit won't work? Given that I don't own a legitimate copy of Skyrim, I don't think so. But I think I know what I need. I need a tool that will allow me to modify scripts. .pex and .psc files to be exact.

Well, thanks for sparing me the "have you no respect for the creators of this game" or "get out of our most holy sanctuary on the interner" speeches! And it's not like I actually want anyone to make anything for me. Just looking for assistance to get into modding. It's not like I'm a pirate. Ohh... I can smell that speech coming.

While your honesty can be commended, it still won't help your case (In my eyes, at least) and in all honesty if you just kept the info to yourself no one would have been the wiser (I never really did understand why people blatantly say they have a pirated version of anything anywhere online...) There will never be 'third party' tools for editing .psc/.pex files as it's proprietary format owned by Bethesda. What's more is they even package/give you the compiler in their games (I forget if it requires the CK optional download). Effectively killing any reason as to why someone would write their own Papyrus Compiler (Not sure if that's even possible). So yea, if you want to do scripting best buy the game and enjoy it.

I figure if I really want this, I really want this I may as well be as honest as I can so I can mod. If someone upped and asked me whether really owned a legitimate version, I wouldn't have revealed it. And it is not like it is bannable offense to own a pirated game in LL or elsewhere (I looked it up). I already plans to get the original so I can get the original in order to get modding. But that'll take time. I am glad to see this site is not full of buttheads who go on about how self-righteous they are. I honestly expected an assault from members of LL ad people creating accounts so they can have in on the gangbang. Glad I was wrong. It really is a haven in this Cyberspace full of idiots.

It's not our business where you get a game, but you will not get help with piracy here, and helping somebody else pirate is strictly against the rules. Keep it to yourself. This site does not allow any piracy or even talk of it or any help for that matter.
