I found what I assume to be a bug. The quest "THBIntroduction" is flagged as "Start Game Enabled", and the player is attached to one of its aliases, and that alias is flagged "Essential". So the player is essential as soon as they start the game with this quest installed, and can't die, even when not actively doing this quest. Two ways to fix this would be to remove the "Essential" flag, if it's not actually needed, or to leave the alias empty, and use the script to attach the player to the alias while they're actively doing the quest.

Good catch! I didn't realize I did that. I'll upload a fixed version soon.

This would be a fantastic idea for a prison mod

It could a be nice prison mod or even slavery, but what i would would like to see is that a job offer even as a ghost and when you ask for your body back it can already stuffed or destroyed. If you don't get it back fast or tried hard enough and it ends up as dinner maybe.
