I'm having an issue where Bimbo Mages are not hostile towards me.

When I started a new game, they were properly hostile during the first two encounters. However, ever since my character got hit by their spell and went into the masturbation animation, Bimbo Mages no longer become hostile. Only Bimbo Guardians attack me.

Sometimes, even the Bimbo Guardians don't become hostile, and when that happens, they just attack nearby rabbits or foxes instead.

i think it might be because the bimbo corruption spell might be effecting it due to being bimbo maybe the hostiles from this mod is making them view player as one there own ?

Last week I had a similar (but opposite) thing happening with another mod: I tried to help a group of 4 NPCs when they were being attacked by a large group of bandits. I hit one of the NPCs by accident, but as all of them were being killed and my PC was barely able to escape, I thought nothing of it.

A few days later I encountered another group of NPCs and they were extremely hostile towards my character. Only by disabling/enabling them, was I able to calm them down.

So maybe disabling/enabling passive priests may help.

If you use USSEP (or USLEP on LE), that would already have the Modern Brawl fix, and it fixes all sorts of things, including some (probably a lot) behavior stuff.

The mages probably shouldn't attack rabbits, foxes or deer, or any animals for that matter.

I doubt they can handle bears or dragons. 😁

Yah, USSEP refused to fix the brawls, unsure why but once I started using brawl fix I was able to attack without it being consider a hostile fight.

If the mages and guards aren't actually suppose to attack any animals that some very interesting behavior conflictions I'm getting from something...

I believe the de-aggro issue is being triggered by the spell that makes your character enter masturbation animations.

In a previous update they would remain hostile even while your character is still in a sexlab animation so this was fixed in a later patch, however they never return to being hostile again once the animation is completed.

Ver 1.1.2 SE

Worked Oren up to 150 corruption. Got the message that he succumbed to curse.

Nothing after that. Many sleep cycles...

Also attacking mages are de-spawning on death - no corpse and no cursed staffs...

Was just about to start a new game, so installed it.

MCM is ok,

I did find a deceased Vigilant with the shield and some other items. Just not saying where cause spoilers!

Not met a pesky cultist yet, but the mod is looking promising on SE...

Please tell. I've searched Riverwood and Whiterun, but have yet to find the Shield of Clenasing.

On a new game, what is the first thing you did after leaving Helgen?

1) Visited the three guardian stones (playstyle experience).

2) Ran to Riverwood, spoke to the Blacksmith, visited the Inn, visited the shopkeeper.

3) Ran to Whiterun, played the Childish Games quest of the base mod, poked around some homes.

I've been putting off speaking to the Jarl so I don't have to fight dragons yet while learning what the mods have to offer.

Then you literally tripped over a corpse on the way.

Actually this was the last fight I remember having with the mages aggro-ing properly on my end. Maybe this is it?

That is very close to it, the spell that carries both animations also provides the target with a hidden ability that provides the target with a protected faction and a keyword as a backup. All that is meant to be cleaned up once the animation/cooldown ends via a cleanup system. For the next version I am tweaking this system here and there while also making the debug mode available via the mcm menu. I have a couple suspects as to why the redirect on hit is failing, so we will see.

Also, this assumes there are no other combat mods available that may interfere with it, right now, I am focused on getting this more functional with a clean set up.

That is odd. The gender-transformation script is pretty self-contained and worked consistently for me. As for mages de-spawning? I do not have a clue as there is nothing that impacts dead actors in my mod as far as I can tell. Perhaps there is a mod in your set-up that impacts disabled/dead actors? That actually would cause quite a few issues.

I tested your mod in a new game, and it seems to work exactly as described—or at least I didn't run into any issues (though the tests were quick). Do you plan to add support for outfits other than the BoS ones? I think that could be interesting

Glad to hear you are enjoying it! As for future outfits, I am open to nearly anything, so long as the workflow is consistent and permissions don't gum anything up.

Another update? Sounds like a good idea to me!

If you are reading this, then chances are you know that 1.1.3 has dropped. One of the biggest notes that you all have made is that certain mages end up being completely passive in 1.1.2. Now could this have been due to conflicting mods? Possibly, who's to say. Was there an inherent and fixable reason for the behavior within the mod? Definitely. It has been addressed in 1.1.3.

I also could not quite help myself and dipped my toes in the "custom visual spell effects" waters. And boy has it been just peachy. Who knew one of the simplest spells in the game would be such a mountain to climb? Either way, you will note Bimbo Mages now have custom firebolt spell visuals that are notably bright pink from cast to after-burn.

The next big change is a less gate-kept debugging system. There are just some things I can't predict, especially those that had issues with the Oren transformation. So in the mcm you can now find brand new toggles for different debug systems. Each one (when enabled) provides some surface-level, in-game, notifications for related systems as well as a more thorough trace in papyrus logs for those that are savvy. This should help a ton going forward and I hope you all find these options useful if need be.

So thanks for downloading and giving Sprawling Bimbos a shot!

Also, once again, if anyone gets some decent screenshots (especially of the new pink flames), let me know! I am looking to populate the main page with some decent shots.

Hi! I love the idea of the mod (cause it allows me to interact with BoS in a more natural and gameplay driven way) and would like to use it, but I keep running into the problem where the disciples keep attacking during the masturbation animation. So it's just basically a death sentence every single time.

I tested the latest update and can confirm however the mages still remain aggressive after the animations. So that's fixed at least for me.

Anyway, thanks for the mod and your hard work!

i tried new update debug on oren and it says he is not the active follower so im guessing the people who had the same issue probably use NFF or another follower mod like me

Thanks for report! Makes sense to me I am preemptively wondering if it is worth figuring out a loophole to get around other follower mods or to just remove the follower check altogether in the future.

i would guess removing follower needs cause if a new follower framework comes out it might need a update or addon. beside its not like all male character will start changing sex its only the ones you make so it shouldn't be an issue but it's not like im a modder so what do i know XD.

Solved my Oren problem:

I use NFF - and Oren was in Slot 2.

Used NFF menu to move him to general slot.

Slept - and Oren is now Orea.

Maybe there could be an option to register different outfits (defined by the user—perhaps via keywords or by marking them in the MCM settings) for the "Forced Cursed Clothing" feature to add more variety. That way, there wouldn't be any issues with permissions. Well, it's just an idea...

I've just returned to Skyrim and was trying out new things when I came across your mod; in my opinion, it's an excellent add-on for the BoS mod.

Thanks for your great work

Very revealing, I am fairly convinced this was the main issue with the transformation for others as well. Again, not quite sure how I want to handle it yet, but I can at least add a warning onto the main page. Thanks for the report!

One of my ideas in my notes somewhere is to modify Binding Shame (the Acolyte Mage spell) to choose from a catalogue of different outfits, I think it could certainly work well there. It would require the directories for the outfits though at the minimum, which would increase the required dependencies or maybe an integration check? I don't know, I just thinking out loud here.
