Dibella's Love (Vow of Nudity) - Beta LE/SE/AE

I got the same issue as Raven 54. Is there a list of required mods I'm missing? I used Alternate Start, so I wonder if the quests require the vanilla Helgen sequence to happen. 

 

Eidt: It works now! None of the above is an issue, I just pushed it to a lower load order and started a new save.

I don't think so, I deleted M.E.I., Heart of Dibella and Books of Dibella and started another new game... It worked this time.

I think from a combat perspective, It would be cool to ditch extra armor & magic resist and instead grant extra health. Picking up perks, spells and abilities that differentiate naked game play like damage reflection, bouncing back projectile spells, increase outgoing damage as health decreases, converting magicka to health, etc. Instead of trying to make up for the fact that you cant equip armor, you lean into it. I've made some effects like that before but never went far with it because I didn't have a reason to naturally give them to the player.

Seems to be working for me, but the constant popup message boxes are a bit annoying after the first 10 times.

Did not see any MCM, but it would be nice to have the option to change the popup box to a normal notification. 

 

Would also be nice to have a setting for payouts, in a similar way as in public whore.

I assume you're talking about the situation where you try to use “shout” and the “dibella spell ” whilst wearing armour?

Belethor only gives 20 septims... I think that is too low a payout for what is involved.

Would you think about raising it to at least match what The Ancient profession gives as there is no motivation to do it, or put a slider in the MCM?

Everytime I have used Dibella's Charm I got an Aggressive Sex scene, Again my motivation for using the spell is lessened as Dibella is the Goddess of love, sharing , etc. not being forcibly raped , only when the it is called for sort of thing.

I was having issues getting the blessing from the Dibella statue, but it worked fine once I toggled survival mode off. The popup about offering gold seemed to supersede the message about the blessing from this mod, in case anyone else was having this issue.

We’re planning to include MCM, but the original amount was 50, which I thought was too much, as the PC could get rich very quickly. That’s why it was reduced to 20. Perhaps Gristle will also add a payment option when he adds the MCM Menu.

I have same problem and i do have the wintersun mod and the Sexlab wintersun mod expansion that does change how prayer works that might be a conflict could we perhaps get a patch maybe?

I think the DIbella's grace power should stack with the player's level. Not increase every level but every other level it should be increased by an hour. An hour of game time isn't much and some quests can take much longer than that. I'm not thinking of any specific vanilla quest, but more for possible mod quests others have made. Specifically for compatibility with other quest mods.

Hello, thanks for creating this wonderful MOD! However, I’d like to ask a few questions before playing it:

1. Can it be installed mid-game, or do I have to start a new game for it to work properly?

2. The current version number is 0.27, does this mean that more than half of the content is still unfinished?

3. Would you consider adding other dialogue branches (i.e. NPC comments or PC monologues) for futa PC in the future?

I tested it on an old save (i.e. with all quests completed), and everything worked, but you only miss out on the extra dialogue related to specific quests.

I don't see the point in that, because the mod might no longer fit within the ESL after a few updates, but you can do it yourself using SSEDIT.

The difference is that TAP has other limits on prostitution earnings. There are a limited number of customers in any brothel, and they get tired. In practice, it's hard to entertain a lot of TAP clients quickly. In contrast, Belethor's jobs are unlimited. I think that justifies a lower payout. I forget the range for TAP payments. Anyone recall?

 

Also, unlike TAP, which is centered around prostitution, this is just a little side quest.

 

In the future, this might tie into a possible purity/corruption feature, where PCs that engage in sex for reasons other than love would become less pure and be seduced by Sanguine. At which point they would get their powers from Sanguine. "Other than love" would probably include prostitution, rough sex, forced sex (by PC), gangbangs, beastiality, etc.

The Dibellan purpose of the spell is to calm enemies. The idea was that the PC might sometimes "overdo" the charm and arouse the enemies instead. So, the arousal is not supposed to be an intended affect, but rather an occasional (and perhaps unwanted) side effect.  But, I could remove the "aggressive" tag requirement and just let the player's mix of animations control, which would then still likely include aggressive animations, but also presumably many others.

Yes. The core "naked gameplay" mechanics are finished. However, only five vanilla quests have been modified to reflect a naked PC. And only Riverwood, Whiterun and Ivarstead have custom NPC dialogue and mini quests.  So, there's obviously a lot more than can be done there. The plan is to develop the quests and locations in the order a low-level PC would play.

I don't think so. I'd have a hard time writing immersive dialogue for that. Also, it would likely double the voice file efforts and sizes.

Peantus. Deviously Cursed Loot gives you 100 Gold per Level of the PC. Yes, you might end up in devious devices or get called out to the guards, but it's worth the risk.

Just a bit of general critique.

 

I really like the idea of naked play, this would mix well with Devious Lore, which gives you some other protection after some training.

 

But I don't like the tone of the mod.  Everyone refers to me as a cheap whore, not as a priestess. Not even Senna recognises me as one of her own.

 

The greetings in Whiterun are always the same. No matter how often I visit Belethor, he offers me the same lame job over and over. Ulberth asks me every time for nord cok or armour, Uthgerd's normal dialogue is completely gone - she's always my favourite follower with her rough edges, but I can't even ask her for a brawl.

Hulda complains "what woman would walk in naked" and not heeding our relationship rank. I'd expect something along "there's my Dibellan angel again. Be careful, dear."

 

Would have been nice to once find a mod with a non mysogenic setting. Moving on.

Ok, so it's not just me then that was having this issue. She only says one line repeatedly, and none of her other dialogue options are available. The Dirty Deeds mod has PC turning in a quest for giants to her, and I could not even turn it in. I wasn't 100% it was this mod causing that, but it had only started happening since I installed it.

I would prefer that, but I really just was trying to find out if they were supposed to be aggresive.

Aggressive animations have their place, just not all the time.

My player only was concerned with Belethor's low pay rate, not really trying to get rich, more concerned with how much he was charging vs how much he was paying.

20 gold/Septims sure isn't enough for the SLSF fame points earned for sex in public!
